while I've quite enjoyed my first real playthrough of the main game, the side content and certain other design elements left a bitter taste in my mouth and didn't motivate me to spend more time playing. Fun fact about Provost Willem: you can actually see some fungus/tentacles starting to grow from the back of his head and neck that look suspiciously like the growths on Rom or the Celestial Emissaries. So it's debatable if he's even still alive when he points you towards Rom-- that might just be whatever is inside his corpse doing that. @@JABRIEL251 doesn't matter. When the blood moon rises, most inhabitants of Yharnam seem to have perished some way or another, even when they stayed inside
I just picked up bloodborne 2 months ago and couldn't stop until it was over. Then I completed Ds3.....and next is Sekiro. FromSoft quickly became my favorite gaming company. I get it now.
I remember the doll at first was kinds creepy. In a world so grim, its surprising to see someone so exceedingly nice. I expected her to be a final boss or something.
I recently discovered the end of Ariana's questline and I think it is one of the more creepy ones. If you can manage to not get her killed by another NPC and then I think its after you beat Micolash, you will find that she has left her chair with a pool of blood around her former seat in the Chapel. Talk to the blind NPC and he tells you she went to the Oeden Tomb. Descend the ladder and you will find that she is now sitting there after giving birth and looking distraught, and her baby is on the ground beside her, just staring at her in a crawl position. The baby is that of the great ones as it is deformed to look like one of the little larvae things you kill in Upper Cathedral Ward.
Bloodborne can be considered a "horror" game but I don't find it all that scary really and only creepy in very certain areas of the game (namely Upper Cathedral Ward), but there are 4 NPCs that chilled me to the bone: Alfred for the reasons you mentioned, Gascoigne's older "daughter" because it was really unsettling to me that a girl could be happy about having a ribbon after her sister was brutally eaten and then promptly killing herself, Ioseka and the entire impostor plot line, and Arianna giving birth to a malformed alien baby in basically a sewer. If you consider her an NPC then Mother Brain also freaked me out, finding her in a pitchblack room under the nightmare. This game is a masterpiece
You forgot Annalise, Queen of the Vilebloods who drinks blood tainted with Great One sperm cells, and if that’s not creepy enough you can resurrect her warm pink flesh at the altar of despair. And you should’ve put the Chapel Dweller as number one, he nervously asks us to bring in all those people to Oedon’s chapel yet unlike Iosefka’s experiments we have no idea if the Dweller has any hidden plans for them as he is speculated to be a follower of Oedon or Maybe he really just wanted to save people and make new friends or maybe that wasn’t his original intentions (think Patches/Lapp turning friendly in Dark Souls 3) because the Oedon Tomb Key states ALL residents of Oedon have gone mad. What if all the previous residents had turned into beasts and left Oedon Chapel while the dweller kept his human-hood/sanity (he was blind, and hunters always cover their eyes) and setting up incense to ward off beasts. Also carrying the formless Oedon rune he may be receiving instructions from Oedon himself to recruit new residents into the chapel so that they might be chosen to be the next surrogate for a baby the next time the Great Ones descend (During blood moon we find Arianna giving birth to a baby great one in the cellar/basement) this is also why I think the Dweller prays and apologize to the “Gods” whenever a NPC dies, he’s saying sorry to Oedon and maybe the MP for failing his duty. Edit: I forgot to add why he’s so interested in having a conversation with everyone, he’s interviewing the NPCs to see who is the best surrogate for Oedon, “tell'em about this here Oedon Chapel. If they seem worth being told, that is...Oh, and I do sincerely hope they are...“ and Arianna became the chosen one as she was the perfect candidate harboring “impure” blood likely not fearing the old blood making her most compatible, “she actually talks to me! Well, only now and then, and she don't mince words... But... she's a kind one, I can tell. A good woman!” Edit2: The formless Oedon rune says Oedon only exists in voice (Oedon gives instructions to Dweller) and also stating “Both Oedon, and his inadvertent worshippers, surreptitiously seek the precious blood.” So the “inadvertent” Dweller doesn’t even realize what exactly he’s doing for Oedon, this is why he’s so convincing that he just wants to make friends even after being slain by us. I have a question for anyone reading take a look at the formless Oedon rune does it look kind of like a family of 3 with the middle being the child with long (tentacle :3) arms hugging its parents?
Since he is a pthumerianat he has a special closeness to gods, and about the rune, knowing that Oedon lives through voice, the three people could repressent a community and the curved line the voice (or information they share), it shows how Oedon's prescence is like, and y'know, info is useless if only 1 person knows it
fun fact- gilbert may have something to do with the torching of old yharnam. why? 1st clue- he gives you a freaking flamethrower of all things. 2nd clue- theres no explanation officially of the disease he had. but the condition that turned gil into a beast were the same as the one that turned old yharnam patients into beasts. he also seems to know a lot bout yharnam even tho he's supposedly an outsider.......
Very probably, he is the same Patches throughout every game. He starts from Demons Souls as Patches the Hyena, after the fog is lifted and demons defeated, he travels to Lordran entering the loop of The First Flame. He survives through Dark Souls 1 to 3 meeting with Choses Undead and Ashen One, becoming Unbreakable Patches in DS3 since he is insanely good at survival. During events of Ringed City, he starts developing an interest to the tenacity of the main characters, hence him helping you during Church Guard fight. And when the age of fire ends and age of men begins, he travels to Yharnamç gets cursed and turns into a goddamn spider
Funt fact: if you equip the Milkweed rune and become a cauliflower, you can go back to the Astral clocktower and from there talk to the fish priest. He will have secret dialogue talking more about Kos and her orphan.
Also if you talk to Ariana when the church girl is in the chapel as well, if u look over to her u can see her peering over at u to watch your conversation, I think shes one of those yandere
I know Maria herself isn't scary, but I find the history and lore surrounding her to be both absolutely intriguing and haunting at the same time. And I'm glad the Gascoigne family is in the top five. Everything surrounding that family is terrifying, horrific, and heartbreaking.
The characters and environmental story telling really gives you an idea that there’s something far darker at play in the world of Bloodborne. Looking past the affliction of beasts and plague, there’s something heavily alien afoot, and it’s bigger than all of us.
wait, there's more than 15 NPCs in bloodborne? xD still, I love the fact that people are still making content for the best game ever made. thanks Rusty!
The Queen of the Cainhurst Vilebloods really disturbed me, not just because of her inability to die even when turned into "queenly flesh" but her cold and unfeeling royal presentation gave me the willies.
Did anyone notice the little girl’s sister go insane when she thinks you have left, as soon as you give her the ribbon and walk away, she starts to act a little creepy.
In the words of Shenpai, Master Willem has an endless strive for knowledge, Laurence is like Icarus who goes insane in pursuit of power, and Alfred is racist
Oh No, the creepiest part about Gascoigne's eldest daughter is if you wait *after* giving her the ribbon. Don't leave the area, just move to the side and wait and listen. She will then start saying something very dark and muttering to herself. She gleefully cleans the bloodied ribbon to keep for herself, completely uncaring about the fate of her sister, just happy that the beautiful ribbon gets to be hers now
I played Bloodborne for the first time this year. Shortly after I found your channel. AND Holy Humongous Hemoridial Hell has your channel become one of my favorites! Keep up the amazing work Rusty!
There is one more disturbing thing about the older Gascoigne daughter Before she dies, if you kept talking to her, she starts to sounds delusional, she is not talking about her sister, but about the ribbon you have to her, how it is beautiful and it finally hers I'm in my first playthrough, never saw anyone talking about that, in videos talking about this quest line, but is one of the most weird npc things I saw so far
Fun fact if you go down the ladder after giving the big sister the ribbon she will have a special dialouge that sounds as if she wanted her sister to die
The brick giant below gascion's house actually talks after the older sister jumps off the ledge, the brick giant is actually their brother, gascion's son. This game actually made me cry

I feel like superforge is going to slowly get larger until it's a name that rivals Rooster Teeth as a huge entertainment entity with many members and a ton of followers.
Fun fact, in the start of the game if you glitch into iosefkas clinic there are actually 2 iosefkas in there, one at the door and one on a room with a sword just waiting
I just got the platinum last week. It was such an intense feeling after trying for so long. The Chalice Dungeons are what was the biggest struggle. Getting to that Queen is definitely the biggest challenge.
Bl 120 should be plenty for all of the trophies except for the chalice dungeons unless you have a lot of really good blood gems for power boosts and a maxed weapon. Which you only get from the dungeons anyways. Learn how parry very well because it will save your life in some of the later dungeon bosses.
@@Urlastnerve My main weapon is the cane, already +10 and the second one i use is the Hunter Axe +9. Nothing will be worse than the blood starved beast for me, the rest of the game was " easy " compared to it.
If you walk away from the young girl's "big sister" after giving her the ribbon, she will have a creepy monologue, claiming how perfect the girl's ribbon is and that she can't wait to try it on. Very unsettling!
I'm absolutely loving the new direction you're going with the videos, Rusty. Keep it up! :) BTW, this is coming from someone who loves listening to your cathartic rage.
When I gave the girls sister the ribbon she was sad at first then talked to her again and she was happy about having the ribbon and that it looked better on her and seemed just evil but then reloaded her body was still out there
Another unsettling thing is that if you think about it, the doll is like a tool for the moon presence, you give her your echoes and become stronger but where do the echoes go? Maybe thats how the moon presence gains what It wants and It does so through the doll. By interfacing like this you become stronger and have a figure that seemingly cares for you thus letting you see her as a precious thing and to an extent, see the presence as a precious thing as well. You can even say it mirrors mergo and how it has a motherly figure to care for it as well.
No I think it's that if you accept ariannas blood more then adella then she kills arianna. because I got adellas blood 7 times and ariannas blood 5 times and she still wasn't killed
Don't forget that when both Adella and Ariana are in the chapel and you talk to Ariana, Adella will peer around the corner of the statue she sits by. In other words, she's trying to eavesdrop
Unbelievable, I finished the first run without realizing there's an NPC near the central Yharnam Lamp. I was confused hearing some muttering several times, and surprised by the suddenly appeared beast which never happend in that location
If you stick around Gascoigne's window after you give his last daughter the ribbon, she starts going on avout how she was always jealous of it and how it looks so much better on herself
I had no idea that scourge was gilbert. I just always thought that it spawned randomly at a late point in the game. That's super cool to see what really happens there
Honestly one of the creepy ones for me was Arianna. The fact the she gave birth to an old one and the fact that you could see the blood throughout the cathedral ward really screwed me up.
If you talk to the Fish Priest with the Milkweed rune equipped, you get some more dialogue and a *very* potent Hunter's Tool. Also, if you wear the *Enlarged Head,* you can occasionally hear a dripping sound.
PS Now gave the possibility to play my first Soulsborne and that’s all I’ve been playing for the last 3 months. I’m glad to see updated content for old and new players.
One last thing about Gascoignes daughter, I dont know how to trigger it. But the older daughter once given the bow laughs and goes mad and is like. Oh, what a beautiful white bow! It looks wonderful on me! Or something along those lines.
I immediately shot Patches the first time I saw him on the door, he's a huge nasty scary spider! I was confused why I couldn't target him, totally forgetting that means he's a friendly npc.
The creepy thing about the doll i would say is that u can find well her I guess in the hunters nightmare after you proceed to fight micolash she appears to be those creatures on top of the bridge that induce frenzy
To the number 1 NPC(s): If you silently go away from the big sis after giving her the bloodied ribbon (like towards the ladder) WITHOUT visiting the dream, she is going to utter more dialogue as you move away from her, thinking you aren’t there anymore to hear her. If you then approach the window again after that she will laugh and rejoice maniacally (stereotypical Yharnamite) at the sight of the bloody ribbon which belonged to her little sis. Though she won’t recognize you anymore at that point and repeats that action until you visit the hunter’s dream again, which then leads to her suicide. Side note: the big sis appears only if you give the little sis the brooch (like in the video) or lie to her and send her to Odeon instead. If you choose Iosefka’s Clinic, it will not trigger.
It gives me a special kind of happiness to see Bloodborne's popularity start to rise from the grave again.

I remember the doll at first was kinds creepy. In a world so grim, its surprising to see someone so exceedingly nice. I expected her to be a final boss or something.
Yamamura literally has sekiros outfit in black with a top hat. Thats cool how they tease the next game without it being obvious
Bloodborne being my first bloodsoul game. When I saw patches, I killed him out of fear. I regret nothing, I regret nothing.
That was uncharitably done, friend
May you cleanse these foul streets
Good job
Jay Es thanks ☺️
Patches is even creepier when you realize that he's at every window at once when he appears.
For me Eileen is not creepy, maybe because i liked her laugh and admired her. Hope she's still alive, my dear lady hoonter.
Eileen is a badass.
W4rr10r_D4rk5 I accidentally attacked her and now I have to kill her oof
A good woman!”
Edit2: The formless Oedon rune says Oedon only exists in voice (Oedon gives instructions to Dweller) and also stating “Both Oedon, and his inadvertent worshippers, surreptitiously seek the precious blood.” So the “inadvertent” Dweller doesn’t even realize what exactly he’s doing for Oedon, this is why he’s so convincing that he just wants to make friends even after being slain by us.
Maybe he was a Powder Keg striken with Ashen Blood?
Clip it, and ship it to Miyazakis face
Loving the Bloodborne content Rusty! You're hard work is evident and we appreciate it
“Do you still play bloodborne?”
*TO THIS DAY NIGGA*
Funt fact: if you equip the Milkweed rune and become a cauliflower, you can go back to the Astral clocktower and from there talk to the fish priest. He will have secret dialogue talking more about Kos and her orphan.
I think, the reason the doll prays to the nightmare, is so nothing steps out of it
Also if you talk to Ariana when the church girl is in the chapel as well, if u look over to her u can see her peering over at u to watch your conversation, I think shes one of those yandere
I know Maria herself isn't scary, but I find the history and lore surrounding her to be both absolutely intriguing and haunting at the same time.
And I'm glad the Gascoigne family is in the top five. Everything surrounding that family is terrifying, horrific, and heartbreaking.
Cant belive there's still content to make from this game but somehow you find a way
The characters and environmental story telling really gives you an idea that there’s something far darker at play in the world of Bloodborne. Looking past the affliction of beasts and plague, there’s something heavily alien afoot, and it’s bigger than all of us.
wait, there's more than 15 NPCs in bloodborne? xD
still, I love the fact that people are still making content for the best game ever made. thanks Rusty!
She gleefully cleans the bloodied ribbon to keep for herself, completely uncaring about the fate of her sister, just happy that the beautiful ribbon gets to be hers now
Yeah it's pretty implied that the older girl isn't actually the elder sister
I played Bloodborne for the first time this year. Shortly after I found your channel. AND Holy Humongous Hemoridial Hell has your channel become one of my favorites! Keep up the amazing work Rusty!
There is one more disturbing thing about the older Gascoigne daughter
Before she dies, if you kept talking to her, she starts to sounds delusional, she is not talking about her sister, but about the ribbon you have to her, how it is beautiful and it finally hers
I'm in my first playthrough, never saw anyone talking about that, in videos talking about this quest line, but is one of the most weird npc things I saw so far
Fun fact if you go down the ladder after giving the big sister the ribbon she will have a special dialouge that sounds as if she wanted her sister to die

U ever noticed how one time in ng+ if u previously chose the beheading ending that the doll in ur new game on that character will be by a gravestone and when u go up to her she talks about that hunter, i’m pretty sure it’s u in ur last play through but i find it so crazy
My favorite "NPC" has always been Micolash
But...hes a annoying ass boss who won't talk to you face to face
I didnt even know there were 15 whole npcs
I feel like superforge is going to slowly get larger until it's a name that rivals Rooster Teeth as a huge entertainment entity with many members and a ton of followers.
Huh I thought this game only had like 6 npcs
Fun fact, in the start of the game if you glitch into iosefkas clinic there are actually 2 iosefkas in there, one at the door and one on a room with a sword just waiting
Who says mar-ia instead of ma-ria😂

I'm here in February 2024 waiting on Eldenring dlc. Playing Bloodborne for the first time on my daughter's ps4.
For me, when I started walking away from the older sister, she started laughing and saying that the ribbon was perfect
Finally! A Bloodborne video! Started playing in december, so pretty new to the game, but already bl 120 and on the road to platinum!
W4rr10r_D4rk5 nice, the chalice dungeons are the hardest trophy i’d say just due to the time it takes. good to see new players tho
W4rr10r_D4rk5 makes different characters for different builds also
I just got the platinum last week.
You missed the creepiest NPC of all.... "even the doll, should it please you"
Kyle 😂
That old creep grandpa 😹
To be fair he is a boss not a npc
Imagine coming into Eileen with the beast rune equipped. And the npc becomes hostile
So this is just a list of every Bloodborne Npc from least to most creepy. Nice!
If you walk away from the young girl's "big sister" after giving her the ribbon, she will have a creepy monologue, claiming how perfect the girl's ribbon is and that she can't wait to try it on. Very unsettling!
It made me happy to see new bloodborne content, thank you.
Mari-...a? Like Mario, but with an a?
Are you ok? Maria is hardly the most foreign sounding name.
I'm absolutely loving the new direction you're going with the videos, Rusty. Keep it up! :) BTW, this is coming from someone who loves listening to your cathartic rage.
I need a video solely dedicated to the wheel of awesomeness 😂
The questline of gasciogne's daughter is genuinely heartbreaking
The way the whole Ariana blood thing works, is u have to take 3 vials before u beat rom (before the blood moon falls) for the nun to kill her
You can save the little girl if you kill the boar before you tell her that her parents are dead.
IT'SA ME *MARIA*
You know it's a From Software game when most, if not, all NPC's are tragically dead by the end.
How the f did I manage to arrive to the final boss and finding only one of these npc 😅
I love how this game still has players even now. I kinda hope we eventually get part 2
When I gave the girls sister the ribbon she was sad at first then talked to her again and she was happy about having the ribbon and that it looked better on her and seemed just evil but then reloaded her body was still out there
Rusty's style has changed so much over the years.
I can only imagine how short this video would be if it was a list of uncreepy Bloodborne NPCs.
I love your Bloodborne videos man
I absolutely love that there are hunters still enjoying this perfect game.
I normally don't do this, but this is so appropriate. 1 like, 1 kick for Patches.
I found her, and from then on, I never wanted to interact with the little girl again.....
Amazing video Rusty keep up Amazing work
I just got the platinum, and this appears to be my reward... YESSSSSS
i can imagine the suffering
Congrats!
Good job! I haven't gotten platinum yet, but I did beat Orphan of Kos today!
Those dungeons were torture! Congrats
lazy popsicle congrats, come join the bloodborne plat gang 😂👋👑
I want more bloodborne. Maybe a prequel ? Could add so much to the lore
I really wanna play Bloodgood because of these videos, but I know I'm gonna scream and have nightmares as soon as I get to the first area
I’m surprised you didn’t mention the oeden chapel keeper
I had no idea that scourge was gilbert. I just always thought that it spawned randomly at a late point in the game. That's super cool to see what really happens there
yeah his window is broken outward, poor fella
If you come up from the sewers after the 2nd daughter jumps to her death you can hear the quasimodo say "Its all your falt."
You can also hear him say "So cold, dear sister."
I liked how he doesn’t curse as much in this video
Honestly one of the creepy ones for me was Arianna. The fact the she gave birth to an old one and the fact that you could see the blood throughout the cathedral ward really screwed me up.
I like Rusty because he's the only youtuber that doesn't speak in a low monotone voice throughout Bloodborne videos
VaatiSuperforge..? I joke with you, awesome video friend.
If you talk to the Fish Priest with the Milkweed rune equipped, you get some more dialogue and a *very* potent Hunter's Tool.
Also, if you wear the *Enlarged Head,* you can occasionally hear a dripping sound.
Just an Average Dragon Drip drop splish splash
To the number 1 NPC(s):
If you silently go away from the big sis after giving her the bloodied ribbon (like towards the ladder) WITHOUT visiting the dream, she is going to utter more dialogue as you move away from her, thinking you aren’t there anymore to hear her.
