I agree the ditching all the chrome add on's , but the stock chrome wheels looked better than those black one's . A polished or or competition grey wheel would have been perfect from a c6 Z06.

I miss it a ton and now that I’m on the tail end of my career with one more move, I’m going to start looking at C6s again. Hopefully the market will calm back down
My old squadron Commander had an 06 I think, but he also had a 1969 that he daily drove to work. So awesome. Last time we spoke I linked him to the newest top trim Corvette and he was drooling, but I think he got picked up to work at the Pentagon so it just wasn't feasible for him at the time.

I like the Firestone Indy 500 tires. I have been using them on my 350z for what seems like a decade. They look good and perform decent for a sporty daily driver.

I am really digging this build. I think wrapping the halo in black would be an inexpensive modification, but will go a long way and changing the looks of the car.

Since when does knowing *about* cars and reviewing them have to include knowing *how* to work on them? I'm willing to bet the mechanics that do so don't necessarily know the finer details these guys may about the vehicles.
Great video series! However: Coil overs are a waste on a base C6 unless you spend 90% of the time on the track. The seat covers were a waste of money. The Firestones were also a weak choice if you want a canyon carver. For your application a clutch at half the price, like a SPEC 3, would have been fine. Good call on pitching the exhaust and chrome add on garbage, tho.
Other channels would’ve made this a 30 part series to milk as many views as possible for each part install.
