I get some pushback on this theory of mine, but Pomni's quick knowledge of how to get back from being out of bounds in episode 2 makes me think she was a QA (Quality Assurance) Tester for video games and subconsciously remembered how to trigger glitches, which if you've seen people who have that job skill, its like a weird compulsion of theres knowing how to break a game on command instead of lucking into it

ooh that's a good theory. She probably was told to look for bugs or glitches in a "game" or smth and got tricked into entering the circus.
