My name is Rob Medlin and I am a 41 year old male with multiple sclerosis. I have been in love with aviation since I was a child. When watching this video I was literally brought to tears by this young mans love and determination. I have always had the dream of obtaining my pilots license, but due to the cost and disability, I have not been able to pursue. Please keep up the good work Greg ! Blue 7 moved me to tears I'm 73 and not flying any more. But I'm grateful for every second I spent learning and flying. I'm gonna find some way to provide some support during the holidays. Thanks for all you do for peopla and aviation!

I am a longtime follower of yours from ZDC(36 years ATC w/NATCA). You’ve responded to a few of my comments! With a lot of inspiration from you, my son is at UND now in commercial aviation. I remember he rocked his P1D swag at his first flying lesson. Precious! It would be great if both you and I could give a speech to the commercial aviation students at UND. I’m down. 23:11 OH YEAH - A quandary is a state of Perplexity/Uncertainty of WHAT to do in a DIFFICULT SITUATION. That is a HORRIBLE name for an intersection! 😂 Especially in the Rockies!
Only good could have come from your collaboration with Zack, his drive, infectious enthusiasm and never give up attitude will be the mainstay of his and your endevours together. The support you bring and that of your flying friends is invaluable I'm sure. Good luck to all involved but especially those who's lives are not perhaps as normal as the rest of us. We'll done Zack, you are going to be a huge success.

A friend of the family had polio and needed to use a wheelchair for the rest of his life. He was a licensed pilot and had his own airplane. Home airport was Brandywine Regional in Pennsylvania.

This hits home for me. Though not what i would considered a disabled individual. I was born blind in my left eye. 20 years ago this December I started taking flying lessons. October 2002 I got my ppl with a fight with the FAA to get my medical. Age 18 while attending A&P school i started building a Zenith 601XL N585K. First flew it at age 21 after graduating A&P school in 2005. 16 years later I own a 1980 M20J I use for my personal aircraft maintenance business. I didnt get where I'm at without people like Greg. Never met the guy in person but one day hopefully do.

Thank you for the intro. I only see a young human being with his struggles like all of us. Except his struggles are more difficult to hide. But what he can’t hide is his love for life, his intelligence and his will to learn and share his love for aviation with his friends. I'm an Army veteran after serving 34 years and multiple tours of duty, getting through better than most. #Premier1Driver Greg, didn't meet many pilots at Hill AFB. I worked back in the CRS fixing your gray boxes. Had several interesting repairs you guys threw at us. I live in Indy, used to be a ramp rat pumping gas, joined the Airforce and never looked back. Wish you the best, maybe we can meet on the other side some time.
