Thanks for Checking out HEAVY PEDAL GARAGE!

You don't realise the significance door panels are to your car... until you drive around without them. Glad to see you've added this final piece to your restore to the bird. They came out nice. Thanks for all the videos & tips. Enjoy!
Very true. Even sounds better in the car now too. Really blocked out a lot of road noise.
Very good! I was gonna rewrap mine with new material, but I did this same exact thing! Turned out well. Great job! Once I swapped my carpet (black) headliner and seats. Night time was a beauty. I hate seeing any dirt on my carpet and seats now LOL
Awesome! I’m glad it worked out for you. Good stuff!
@@HeavyPedalGarage You bet! Keep up the great work, it’s very inspiring!
Love that duplicolor vinyl spray. Used it on door panels 15 years ago and still looks great. I will look into that glue for the vinyl. I have to doctor up the door panels for my 1968 bird and it think it will work. Thanks!
Right on man! Glad to hear the duplicolor lasts. That glue seems like it’s gonna hold and flexible enough. Been enjoying seeing your 68 coming together. Appreciated the VA charging video. Gotta do that to mine sometime soon.
@@HeavyPedalGarage heck yeah spring weather is just around the corner and AC is nice while cruising.
Another great video Nate, mate😃👍🇦🇺🦘
Thanks for checking it out!
Love your videos Nate! You do such a great job and such good work! Also, those door panels look great. Such a difference it makes getting them in.
Thanks buddy. I appreciate the kind words. Yup. Those panels make a huge difference. I was surprised at how much less road noise I get in the cab now.
Great video, Thanks for sharing.
Thanks you!
Thanks for sharing your process, you did a phenomenal job.
Thank you so much! It took some time to get it right, but it was worth it.
You really did a great job on the panels, I'm working on my doors and panels right now as well, I hadn't thought about rivets but that is a good idea.
Did you crack any more of the plastic when you riveted the new sweep on? Mine is cracked worse than yours and is so brittle that I think it would crack if I tried to rivet it or even drill through it.
It did not crack when i riveted. You could glue a thin strip of metal across the entire length to help support it. Just a thought. Good luck man. Some of this old plastic just isn’t gonna last.
