I just purchased two sets of Lego's from aliexpress and they should be arriving soon! The excitement got me searching and I landed on this gem. Love the way your explained everything and how excited you are!
PS: This might just be my next set. Do you mind sharing the link or adding it on the group description? Thanks! :)

You'll really enjoy putting those together. The best bit of advice I can give you is, dont rush like I did. Its a horrible feeling when you realise that you have to partially dissemble the model because you realised you missed a part out or used the wrong bit.
Ive now put a link on the decription.

This is why when possible, I do spend the extra $3-5 and get the version with the physical instruction book. Most of them are condensed to some extent, but they usually do come with 1:1 part diagrams so you can quickly make sure the axle is of the correct length. Also you probably don't need to email the seller for the pdf since it looks identical to the one that you can just download off Lego's website.

I do like prefer the PDF version of instructions but as it gives me the ability to zoom in at times for detail. I never knew that it could be downloaded from the Lego site though.
      Thanks

@@ziggy6151 When you go to the product on the Lego website under the price are 3 clickable options, the bottom of these says building instructions. Also even if it is a retired product for the newer sets the building instructions are still available.

You could always download the instructions in pdf from the Lego website ? Free. I have been buying with paper book instructions but using the lego pdf on the PC to build due to the ability to zoom in on certain sections is very helpful.

      Hi
I just looked back on my orders for the link and its showing as 'no longer available'
Between me and my friends we've ordered a few kits now, all from different suppliers for AE, and they've all been fine. I'd say as long as you go for a kit that is like for like part amount wise, you'll be ok

Given that it appears to be an exact copy of the Lego Daytona, could you not just use the Lego instructions?

8:31 that is actually incorrect, there is a difference between the different colors. The beige colored connectors have less friction than the blue. Same with the black connectors vs the light grey, the light grey has less friction.
I ordered the Porsche and Bugatti years ago and the quality was alright, I purchased the Lamborghini and the Ferrari recently and am now awaiting delivery. The Ferrari is scheduled for delivery on Monday(it is in the hands of my local delivery service)
I also ordered the Porsche RSR and plan to purchase a couple of F1 cars in the future. I want to hang all of my cars on the wall at some point after I move so I'm getting plenty of cars to fill up the wall all at once😂

    • @treetopspider
      @treetopspider  4 дня назад

I didn't know about the friction difference. It makes sense now you've mentioned it. That's good to know for the future. Although, I do always try to stick to the instructions where I can.
Youve obviously got a really big collection of these kits. Its so exciting knowing that the kit is now in your country and with your local delivery company and just waiting for that knock on your door 😀I'm limited by space, although I really fancied the Porcshe.
Unfortunately, my finished kits have been banished to my attic for now 😒

@@mach3reached Yes, that's the downside of buying of Ali, it's all fake and copied. Also you don't know if the plastics meet European regulations and what they are made from. Could be having all sorts of cheap, poisoned st5uff I nit. Wouldn't be the first time they use that for coloring the parts.Like cadmium to get that nice bright yellow colour.
