Is this the technique called "German schmear"? It makes a beautiful brick fireplace. Can't wait to see the finish. You all have done so well on the 30 day challenge. The videos were enjoyable and the commitment awesome!!!

This is mortar washing, pretty similar to German schmear but not as thick and textured in my opinion. Thank you so much!!!
