That's like trying to tell your wife to dump all her jewelry away. You just can't.
I was initially bummed out that you could only play as Quill, but they handled it really well, because you are literally positioned as the leader of the group and your decisions impact how the team moves forward.
I was actually bummed too but the story and the position as leader instead of just switching to a character with different abilities is very well done. I do think there could of been a way to change characters between in combat and try cool skills but it would mess with the leader role of star lord and his decisions in story and gameplay.
True, its interesting actually. You get to play as every space kid's favorite dream job.

@@mabesmadness177 I like your take. Haven't been able to try it out yet but I was thinking the same thing. Like too much interaction with the other characters would mull the whole point of making decisions FOR the characters to begin with. Gonna pick it up this weekend!
Honestly leadership in TGOTG is fleeting as plans(as you can see) FAIL AND CHANGE 😂 and that’s what makes them great
Rocket not wanting to sell Groot, sticking up for him not being a monster and risking himself to be sold made me love the character more

There are a lot of points in the game where rocket goes into 'protective mom' mode over Groot, it's great.
Honestly should have sold groot, he ended up bitching about being sold the whole game after.

There was so much dialogue discussing the selling of Groot, I was thoroughly convinced even if we sell Rocket, Groot will intervene and force us to go with him, cuz there was no way they would redo so much dialogue.

I find it hilarious that every time Peter tries to negotiate he gets the least amount of money, but always letting Drax talk gives you much more money. Genius 😂
It's hard to get used to Star-Lord not looking like Chris Pratt after rewatching so many GOTG movies, you kinda get used to his appearance here though, it grows on you.

It’s a bit hard to see Drax as someone who talks kind of lax, but still takes things very literally. You just get used to seeing him as someone who talks really formally, and takes things very literally

Just played through the groot path. I'm actually amazed how different they are. The choices in this game feel really meaningful and this proves it. Overall, this game is pretty great imo, well worth the price.

So basically the best method is to sell Groot and to let Drax _handle_ Lady Hellbender (be sure to give him your support when Rocket throws his fit), giving you the best outcome of 12k

I love how they made the decision to go with their own original character designs. It would have been easy to just copy what's in the movies right now, but they did their own thing and I respect that.
The way the writers handled the characters worked really well. Especially Drax, Star Lord and Rocket. Oh yeah and Cosmo is the best doggo fren ever.
Every single character done amazingly well in the game. Like them all. And yes Cosmo is the best doggo Piyotr.

This game is actually veryyy good! SE really did what they do best and made an amazing game! The story, the gameplay, everything! It's %1000 better than Avengers which only had a good graphics and a normal story. They learned alot since that game

They made Peter seem like a jerk leader in the trailer but all his choices seem reasonable in this and he consults with the team. It looks decent, I might have to play it now.
Dunno why, but this Gamora is surprisingly better in terms of looks in my opinion. Shorter hair is really doing her good for her design

This game is awesome it literally feels like I'm in the movie, the conversation between the characters are a treat sure you can't control the other guardians except for doing attks, moving stuff etc. This game deserves the praise and has good lore to it

Man, Every Single One of these actors have done a phenomenal job. LOVE this version of GOTG. Was pretty skeptical after the shitshow that Avengers was, though some of them were good, but these are just really fucking good. Equal to the movie acting. Love this game, and am really hopeful of future Marvel games now.

They forget to mention Rocket is an ingenious mechanic and professional killer, and with groot they’re like “uh yeah he has no sharp teeth or nothing but he has brown eyes” like what? You should tell her, yeah he can carry five time his body weight and extend his roots to stab multiple opponents.

I haven’t seen or heard much about this game but after watching this I really wanna play it! It honestly feels like I’m watching a GOTG movie, it’s incredible! The characters (while they don’t sound or look like the movie characters) really nail the personality of each character, and the graphics are gorgeous. Plus I really have been wanting to play a game where choices affect the game in a major way.
The perfect way to blend 616 and the MCU
