Hi Oksy, re the requirement of “property valued at...” - how is the value established? They use similar formulation for property visa. Do they look at the purchase price or somehow establish a market value? Bear in mind that you could have purchased an apartment for 2m AED 5 years ago, now it’s worth only 1.5m and in 5 years maybe 3m aed. See my point? Thank you!

nahh not rly. look theres no compulsion in religion in Islam. therefore I don't see a problem with giving people the right to live together if they're not married. its not something like drinking alcohol that would affect anyone else. so why would it be haram to allow non Muslims to do it?
