- Update: I moved out to a 350 sq.ft studio apartment in Dubai! It's been the most *expensive*, but also fruitful journey to live alone, manage my own expenses, finances and more. Moving out was something I put on my vision board in 2021, and within exactly 12 months my dream has come true.
Watch this video to know all my expenses I've incurred moving out, why I think it's important to make this crucial decision, whether I feel lonely and loads more.

I think that with internet today , everyone feels the urge to live alone. Todays generation has been pampered so much with less physical work thanks to automatic washing machines, vacuum cleaners etc and cooked food so easily available in restaurants that no one now wants to live as a family. Its a big change and something which will defintely impact the future of the happy family that we now know. Here, you have a ready family and still you want to move out as the freedom to live alone, experiment , party is more than everything. You think it will be for few months or year , but I will tell you upfront that you will never be satisfied with any one else as once you live alone then you can never adjust with anybody.
Have you lived alone?
Since you’ve not replied, let me address your comment.
1. “Today’s generation has been pampered…”. Pampered? Advancement in technology is meant to make your life easier. What’s wrong in that? Why are you glorifying manual labour? Do you not use washing machines? Are you still adamant on hand-washing clothes? Why do you want to make a hard life sound rewarding?
2. “…party more than anyone.” Funny that I didn’t even mention that anywhere?
3. “You will never be satisfied with anyone else.” I believe that is the point sir. The fact that many women do not know how to live alone and fend for something *is* the reason they stay in toxic relationships, abusive marriages and so on. Women NEED this period of individuality so that when they marry old-fashioned traditional people like you, they’re not scared of cutting it off to live alone. I rather thrive living alone than be stuck living with a man.
Off to party now xx
@@TwinkleStanly tell him sister.

Id advise you delete this comment, its a ridiculous comment. Just because you live alone doesnt mean you can't adjust when with other people in the future, everyone needs to have a period where they have the space and time to learn about themselves so they can perform better for themselves and have better experiences with themselves and with others.
I also moved out from Pakistan to Dubai at the age of 24. It's been 8 years now and I am really happy that I made this decision to move to Dubai. ❤
Can you please help me to move Pakistan .. bcz i need some information
Please share your experience I thinking the same but know the guidelin
Good for you! I lived alone for 5 years even when I was in a long term relationship. It was a very important time in my life where I learned what works for me, what my boundaries are and just truly have that special time where you can get to know yourself.
I just found your channel today ❤🥺and I’m binge watching all your videos! You’re doing amazing 😍I’ve never been more proud of a complete stranger in my whole life!!! You go girl🎉! As a recent 24 year old, you have no idea how inspiring it is to watch a young woman live independently, thrive and enjoy her life on her own terms! May this new chapter be filled with joy, happiness , peace and prosperity!! Rooting for you! All the way from South Africa 🇿🇦 ❤
Wasn’t too long, wish we could listen to you forever. I found wisdom in all you said. Grateful to hear so many new things. Hoping you’ll be more consistent as we subscribe. Light!
Thank you so much ❤️🥹
So your total expenses are £800 per month! That’s nothing! So why do people keep on saying that it’s expensive to live in Dubai?
In London, £800 will not even cover.
Thanks for sharing all these infos with
@@katiejeremiah767 try earning with your same job in dubai, you'll understand the expenses.
Currently debating a move myself and have been going back and forth on that decision. I watched your entire video and found it to be very inspiring and insightful. Thanks for sharing your experience with us.
I cannot stress on how much I’ve fallen in love w your videos!! You making the whole “finding yourself journey” soo beautiful! And being soooo transparent about the costs and other aspects of moving into an apartment in Dubai, and giving us a clear picture is a HUGE thing! Thank you for being who you are and for sharing your story! I hope, wish and pray that you reach all your milestones, the big and the small, I hope you’re surrounded w people who celebrate you and genuinely love and care for you. You’re doing such an amazing job, and I’m rooting for you from afar!!
Sending you love from India, and a lot more love from someone whose dream is to live in the UAE haha! A really helpful video!💗💗💗
You come here, we will arrange everything!
Love this!! Completely agree about being alone and enjoying one’s own company. Especially when we’re constantly around people and end up getting overstimulated😅 It’s truly one thing I value so much in my 20s :’)
Absolutely! ❤️❤️❤️
I love the fact that you pointed out that we should also celebrate living alone, I badly wanted to do it but due to some reasons i couldn't. Im very greatful for the family and life I have but sometimes I just imagine how it would have been to stay alone before the marriage and a child. And it also help us to understand if we have to stay or leave, when we are in an abusive or toxic relationship. Glad that i stumbled upon your video ❤
Thank you for sharing your journey Twinkle! I just like you live away from my family in the UAE and I often contemplate the amount of money I could save by living with them. But living alone has made me self-sufficient and I believe that's more important in the long term than any money I could save in the short term. Also I completely agree that it's therapeutic to have your own space where you can be yourself
Absolutely! So glad you could relate 💘
I LOVED this entire video SO much! I’m a 26 year old from an African family but born and raised in the States and THIS video was very inspirational…especially after being advised to move to Dubai for work. Thank you for sharing your story🥹BIG PROPS TO YOU, GIRL!👏🏾👏🏾✨✨
This was so helpful thank you so much💗 so short and to the point.
You have a good understanding of the phases of one's life that will create your unique journey. Congrats to you and your family.
This video was soooo helpful. I was really inspired by you doing this at such a young age. I'm moving into my first apartment soon so it couldn't have come at a better time. You're amazing your soul lights up the world ❤
You are wonderfully expressive and articulate!
You are right...living alone is very important to build connection with SELF. People have forgotten to love themselves, so the world has so many life coaches now. I agree with you ...ALL THE BEST this is the best phase of your life. Learn, unlearn and relearn ❤❤❤❤
Seeing you being happy and content and doing what you want to do makes me immensely happy. I also want the same settings for me but I guess everyone has different "right time". I want to experience that alone time but for sure I know that's not going to happen to me so easily. Still hoping because hope keeps us alive.
I hope you do experience it! If you want it, it'll come to you in due time 💘
"I've been seriously contemplating the idea of relocating to Dubai. In fact, I've had the chance to spend a fantastic four-month period there, which made me strongly consider it as my second home. Thank you very much for this video! It is extremely helpful for me to gain insight into the expected living costs in Dubai. Your decision to live independently is quite courageous, and I sincerely hope you find what you're searching for in this experience. Sending my best wishes to you!
I recently moved to Dubai alone. I am older, and I so agree with you. You are amazing - thanks for sharing your your youthful wisdom
💘💘💘
good. you will never tire of living alone. as women, we are expected to bend and twist to suit everyone else. You are right when you say "we are individuals"! Yes, we are human, and have likes and dislikes and the right to feel able to express ourselves and feel comfortable and at peace in our own homes. So often, men dominate these spaces and we find ourselves adjusting to their realities. To have a space, one's home, to be wholely ones self without compromise is not "lucky" or "a gift", it's our right. As Virginia Wolf rightly says... "A room of one's own". All the best to you
Absolutely💘💘💘
Hey Twinkle! Lovely to see you back on RUclips. This video was lovely to watch. Even though I don’t live in dubai it was definitely informative as I’m also keen to move out so the timing of the video was great. Just a suggestion if the music could be slightly lower volume it would be great only because I think at a point I was getting distracted because of the music or I have terrible concentration span. But overall very insightful and glad to see you back in this space. PS: I love your apartment videos on IG too. You do youuu! ❤
Hi Judy! Thank you so much for your feedback - definitely keeping this in mind. ❤️
I absolutely loved this video and it reminded me of how much growth takes place in my own space ❤❤ I'm excited to teach in Dubai in August and I'm even more excited to live alone again!

Thank you! This video has been so much helpful and honest! Would you recommend Dubai as place to live? You did so good anyway to leave by yourself and don’t make anyone else happy apart from yourself 💪🏼 strong woman such an inspiration.
Welcome back twinkle! 😍
Hehe thank you! ❤️
You are literally me I wanted to live alone in studio apartment working in business I can think I can speak myself I can make decision I can be peaceful
this is such a beautiful video❤
Moving out to live alone when I turned 20 was the best decision and unlike the boomer in the comment section- my mum actually supported the decision because as she said "you need to learn how the world works". I did learn a lot on how the adult life works, responsibilities, and it helped me organize my finance, bills, documents, and uni classes effectively, and I'm smarter with my money too. When I first moved out, I started by moving in with a friend's friend, and that taught me a lot.
Yeppppp! 💘
Wauw u have taste , props to u for this journey all by urself, u give us so much info thanks, i subsr today!
Great video I am looking to move to Dubai and I am going to be on a budget and I too enjoy big spaces etc so I would have to adjust ,can I ask what areas close to JVL is affordable ?
Planning to move to dubai from India, any recommendations on sites that provide services to find an apartment?
Hey loved this video, any suggestions on which areas are good but not very expensive to live in.
Hi, i really like the lipstick you are wearing. May I know which brand and shade colour please?
electricity is so cheap when comparing with Belgium. We have here 2400dhs aed per month for electricity and gas for heating... (4p). it's like a little rent. With mortgage around 4500dhs. it's 7000dhs aed per month in belgium for our house.
Loved it! ❤️❤️❤️
Your skin looks flawless girl 💖
Close to reality video! I wish to move to Dubai one day. I have been living with my family for 30 years now. I want to experience everything you said..
Hey Twinkle, how many bedrooms is this or square feet is this set up? How far from Airport? How far from JBR? Thank you 🙏🏽
Thanks Sister. Very helpful
Could you give more ideas on how to find jobs in Dubai? Tips etc ?
Hey there! Thank you for such an informative video. You've mentioned in your description that you've moved out. Have you moved back in with your family or have you moved to another place? Would love to hear more about this move :) Take care.

Hey twinkle! I love your content🫶🏻
I am a student in dubai and currently living in a student accommodation for 35k aed for 6 months which is super expensive. can you please mention the potential locations where i can look for a cheaper studio apartments?
Hey Twinkle! Was wondering if yours was an unfurnished or furnished space. I’m just on my hunt to find an apartment for myself as I’m moving from India to Dubai. This particular video of yours makes me so excited to have my personal space.
Amazing , you Gotta be very proud
Hi, I'm going to live in Dubai soon. Can you help me to provide some locations with a similar price as yours? So I can easier search for it.
Your rent is very very well priced as the ones I have inquired on are three times that and not one agent has got in touch with me neither via email or whatsapp or even a call although I am not in the Emirates at moment
love how you share your experiences in dubai with us! also, the lipgloss is top tier 👁👄👁😍
Dior it is! 💖💖💖
Are there villas for foreigners in Dubai which not part of a HOA or community?
I'm looking forward to move out too can you please help me with a similar building por the location of yours as well would really help as I live in buinessbay and its a little more pricey but not as pleasing as yours, really looking for your response. thank you in advance.
Hey, just a quick question. What would be considered a good earning in dubai? Is 20k AED good amount or no to live as a bachelor? Also, considering that someone wants to save 50% of their money atleast.
What all to keep in mind if someone is moving from India? How much to save have in account before moving there? Would appreciate your thoughts.
Love it. Thanks!
BTW please put a home tour of your studio please dear.. Thanks.
Wow this is very insightful. I had this misconception that living in dubai would be much more expensive. But I'm impressed that your food expenses are so low! it can be 200 usd per week alone and thats your whole month. Maybe you have shopping tips in dubai? haha
Beautiful decor ❤
Hello! How did you find the flat. Is it a studio?
I love your accent. You're gonna be ok all the best.
Beautiful place. Love from Pakistan. I also want to experience this kind of peace and joy.
New subscriber here! Lovelots to you ❤
Salam for 28000 a year which is $7700 you can stay with your parents save your 2-3 yrs or 1 yr salary and than put a down payment and do monthly emi so you don’t waste your money, rent is just throwing away money. This would be investing your work money and when you sell property you get your money back plus more. I know lot of younger generations don’t think like older generation but I tell same to my nieces, nephews brother etc…
Can you please give tips how to live alone because I can't.
More power to you, lovely lady
Hi Twinkle. Can you tell your apartment location, I am also looking in same budget.. please
Hey...if you need a etisalat wifi connection in a very good amount..let me know...😊
OMG i love you apartment ! Is it in Sharjah?
Good work keep up
Dear sister Twinkle its always a plesure to see little girls livind a life off their own, me to started my job at @1, n right now i am 46, keep growing in all dimensions
💘💘💘
Appreciate your candidate look at a decision to be an independent woman. Costings overview were great not dissimilar to the UK. Enjoy your space - have fun #blessings
How much would these figures be in united states (USA) dollars? you have beautiful hair!! what shampoo do you use?
I like your makeup 💄🤩❤️
I completely agree with you. Unfortunately, even to this day Indian or in general women from the subcontinent have their life split between these two distinct phases. It's always one family or the other. If women plan and get at least five years in their life that are truly their own, it will give them a lot of confidence and life skills. ❤️
I am gonna do that , let's go girl...🤓🤓🤟🤟
Hi....where do u live in dubai...i am planning to come to Dubai nxt month
Hi nice video, quick ask DEWA is it only 150 even off summers? Is it a chiller free building?
So far during summers it's gone upto Dhs180-ish. AC is included in DEWA for me. :)

Moving to Dubai in a week and this has been super helpful! Love that you broke the expenses down so transparently, you've helped me realistically gauge the savings I need to set aside for my move.
