- Welcome to my fleet histories series. In it I review year-by-year aircraft fleets of an airline.
In this video I go through the history of Philippine Airlines' Boeing 747-400 fleet, from 1993 until 2014.

Most of these pictures show the 747 landings at hong Kong international airport and Kai Tak

Yay thanks :D Mabuhay!
:)
1:33 year 2009 was delivered flight of 777-300ER while operating the 747-400
Glad i was born when 747 is still alive :)
RIP PAL B747 1993-2014
I remember seeing this as a kid.
Same
There are still some operators of the 747: British Airways, Korean Air, China Air, Lufthansa, & Lion Air and now this 747 is gone in 2014 :(
I didn't even know Lion Air had the 747, I thought they were a 737-only operator!
i remember Air New Zealand 747 400s in the pacific livery
wow RP-C *747* *1* (means 1st 747)
1996-99 with the Centennial Independence Sticker
2002 : Carrying then President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo
I think their 747s lived short :( I mean while other airlines make their beauties live a little longer
21 isnt short lol
what if pal ordered a340-600?
Can you make a video about the MALÉV's Boeing-737 history? Thanks in advence!
+Flames Ultra Games - FUG I have already edited my next one, this will be after if I can do it :)
Oh, thanks :)
+Ibirdball oh you just can't stop that's cool plz do TUI 747-400 history thx m8

PAL Should Order The 747-8i & 787-8/9 & The A330-900neo
Are u giving them the money for the 747 8
I am Filipino. Can you make an Pal A320
The 747 is slowly dying :(
I know, the last ever passenger 747 has now been built :(
Mr Chicken TV Yes because of the fuel price thingy :(
+Scaring Crab Apparently PAL are replacing them with the 777-300ER, like a lot of airlines.
Ibirdball yes i noticed that
But they will soon be retire to order the 777X?
rip 1993-2015?
Do you Philippians miss some Boeing 747-400s and they used to fly internationally to some U.S. cities like Honolulu, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Portland and Seattle.
Alyssa Boyett dont call us philippians its filipinos
It Is Filipinos, Not Philippians
What is the song
It's in the description.
Hmm if Philippine Airlines orders 747 8i and a a380??
I heard that the reason the haven't ordered either is their financial situation and that they don't have proper facilities to accommodate them.
Ibirdball okay
Ibirdball but I thought the facilities that accommodated the 747-400 could also accommodate the 747-8i as well.
they got decision if they order a380 or not but the problem is it only serve 2 airports rip
then i will be very happy
If this is the last 747 why do people don't care about the 747-8?
No idea :P
@@Ibirdball eh
737 history (196?-Present)
*1967-present? No xD
Ibirdball ?, not 7
Ibirdball so 2017?
No, it first flew in 1967...
1967-present.
PAL will not buy any four engine aircraft in fact they are just focusing on two engine aircraft, so dont expect that PAL will order Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental and Airbus A380 that two jumbos are so expensive to operate especially in gas, and also it affects the airport congestion of NAIA, as we all know NAIA is still modernizing itself, if we force PAL to buy that jumbos then prepare to cry as we transfer the national flag carrier to Cebu Pacific (if PAL was bankrupt) and PAL 747's was not already scraped it was just storaged at Clark Int'l Airport but that jumbos have no chances to fly again.
Roblox Tripreporter -_- pal have airbus a320 I guess and have Boeing 747 which is 4 engine
still has the a340
Bullshit pal airlines
I'm from Philippines if I'm a pilot if I have a 100billion I will buy a Boeing 747 Philippines that's my favourite plane
RIP kid
Michael jackson was died in 2009
Why would they ordered it when they would get it retired? I hate doing that
Why That Airplane Slowed brat :(
747 is old open 1979,1986,1993 closed 2015 (CAUSE OF DEATH - CRASHED)
The video is ok, but I hate the "thanks for watching" outro.....And by the way, why this video contains "thanks for watching" outro, this video is not Peppa Pig?
How is it Peppa Pig, that show doesn't say 'Thanks for watching'.
