I'm saying this as a gay man: if Cam was just a tiny bit more girly I would dislike the the character and dismiss Cam as another cliche stereotype. It's probably a precarious tightrope to walk for a straight actor. Cam is larger than life, and has to be the glitter to Mitch's paperclips (didn't want to use that old yin and yang comparison there). Cam makes me laugh; he's a funny character but he isn't offensive. I know guys like him. I'm more of a Mitch type: generally mellow, but at times borderline catty, LOL.
