I had surgery around five years ago now and not touched a bike since but today i took that step and dusted off the bike and went to the skatepark, thanks to adam lz i can now pump propperly haha
I subbed for drifting but I bmx so this is sweet. Gotta bring this humor to your drift vids bro!
The most important thing I found in this video was the tip: pump your speed up when airing out by trying to reach the deck first. I watch a lot of air out vids these days, but I just can't get myself to go over coping yet, because I feel like there's something missing, but I keep finding hints in all the videos

Mr. LZ here in 2020. For me the bigger the the quarter the easier it is to air.
Makes sense because I found myself riding the 12' vert ramp better than the 4' quarters and 6' miniramps.
i dont get it when your actually doing it do you hit the metal thing or do you bunny hop ?
+some one i was wondering that my self, another question will it work with banks with the metal thing on it just as well as it does on quoter pipes
+the amx if you do end up airing on a quarter, then no you will probably not hit the coping (metal part) you will most likely land a little bit further down the quarter. No this doesn't work on banks, I have never seen in my life someone air a bank.
+some one when you go up the ramp the best thing is to almost bonk both wheels on the coping( helps if you can learn to leave the hop or pull till your back wheels hits the coping ) so it pushes you straight up so when you come down you clear the coping

when your airing out.. when you land front tire first do you push down with your arms or just land both wheels at the same time

Okay how do you edit your video to make the hub sound like that in the first clip? I'll shoot an air clip with my profile mini at 60fps on my 7D and it wont sound like that :(

Quick question. Tbh I dont know if you hop when you air a quarter. I used to try and hop when i first started and it didnt work, then I just lifted my front wheel as it hit coping, and pushed down with my legs until the back wheel hit coping and I dont know what I do I just do it automatically but I air out like that and everything goes swell. Am I hopping or just flying out of the quarter with my pump? Tbh you didnt cover any of what you do when you hit coping or in the air which I am guessing ppl will want to know. Cool vid though.
You're doing it correctly. There is not much to do in the air per say, if you come off the lip correctly, and know how to land, you are free to do whatever you want in the air. That's what makes one persons airs look different than someone elses.

I have a 2 foot ramp at my local skatepark and I can't even do that on a skateboard, yet a 5 footer is sort of easy on a bike. 4 foot is my limit with scooters.

Hey adam I got a quick question, I'm very comfortable going left when I tri to air out but I'm left foot forward and all my friends say I have to air out to the right does it matter which way or does it not matter???

Whenever I air my back wheel doesn't hit the coping and I go like 5cm above it, I'm pumping hard and going at an alright speed, I'm fine at airs on 6 foots but it's on eight foots were I can't get the height Any tips?

I went to Woodward Tahoe once and tried to air a hip but got scared when I was in the air so I basically beefed the cement

I have a mongoose rebel and it's pretty heavy which makes it hard to bunnyhop or manuel so will it be ok to use my mongoose or should I wait until I get a real bmx?
Weight isnt the issues since it is a mongoose they break very easily that is if you buy it from Wal-Mart you should buy a good fit or sunday bmx for 350 -400 in your local bike shop they havr better parts and easier to get replacement parts if you Break anything which is pretty damn hard so shred on man

Seriously, how do you keep your back wheel on the ramp till it hits the coping?, when I air my front wheel hits the coping and my back wheel leaves the ground like as soon as my front wheel touches the coping and it's deadly
don't spin when your front wheel hits the coping. Hit it at an angle and let your shoulder rotate the bke in the air. If that makes any sense

you say start off slowly and work your way up but you don't explain how you actually turn around, how do you get your front wheel frontwards again.
