Great informative video Byron! I just purchased 2 Raptors for my boat but, I really need some help with hoe to measure the cowling on the motor to get the correct mounting brakets. I know to turn the motor all the way to one side to get the proper clearance but, how do you measure it? Like you, I'm installing them to a 10" Hydraulic Atlas jackplate and my boat is an older Triton TR-21. If you could help with that, i would really appricate it or anyone read these comments! Thank you in advance!
hey mate, the instructions detailed the clearances I needed and I just made sure I had that before bolting it in. You're right though, I did just turn the wheel to one side to make sure they didnt hit the engine

Great video! Thanks for posting. How did your boat perform with 1 raptor? I have an 18ft aluminum walleye boat with room for only 1 raptor. I was thinking of getting an 8ft for the shallow bite. I was just curious how the boat positions itself with only one in use.
Hey buddy, it worked a treat. One is really nice. the boat will twist with the current and wind but the anchors work a treat to keep you in place

Are they noisy or shakey when on pad?
Byron quick ? I live on a private lake and I hear that they wont lent me have them but I would use them on other lakes. So how hard would it be or any ideas to remove them for my private lake is it easy to just remove them and reinstall?
not hard, but I think it would be a small pain to do that, you cant just not use them>?
What is the height of your garage door? I’m asking because I’m looking to get 10 ft raptors but I want to be sure they will fit through my 7ft garage door… do the raptors deploy enough to fit in a 7ft garage door?

Getting on the spirit of tasmania it's max 2.1m height for standard cars. Do these come under that? Hard to see how high they are
nah, you just tick over 2.4 on the trailer and you're good to go, otherwise its 4 bolts - just undo the raptor and place it laying down
How did you know whether to go with 4" or 6" adaptors?

I just Installed my pump, filled the reservoir and picked it up, then deployed it and now it doesn’t want to come up, the pump runs for a second and I get a red flash and beep, any ideas? Reservoir is full

I fail to understand the advantage of this product over an electric motor with spot lock?
No electric making a ridiculous amount of sound under the water. Sound travels under water and these things are super quiet.
Add in overnight/ weigh-in anchoring at non-tidal locations (I.e. Lakes).
