I have this unit and there does not seem to be enough room to lift the coils high enough to get the pan out. There's no room on the top or bottom to move it around.

On True beer keg coolers the galv evap pan will rust through in spots, pin holes, the replacement OEM metal evap housing is way to much money and takes a couple weeks to get, so at Lowes I found a 12 inch wide roll roofing flashing, it's got thick aluminum foil on one side and tar on the other side, I cut it to fit then press the tar side down inside the pan then with my mapp gas torch warm up the under side of the metal melting the tar to a good seal, it's good for another 4-5 years. Good luck in those hot attics this summer. Good vid.

I got a good question. Did you ever have any accidents on the job? I have a friend that works on AC units and furnaces. One day back in 1998 he lost one of his fingers because the fucking blower on the furnace he was working on some how turned on and shattered it.
