ughhh, the music in the background was too distracting and loud. It was nice at the beginning of the video but I found it difficult to listen to what she was saying.

Hi thanks for this, love it and very useful info! May i know when was this video taken? Prior to covid is it?
So i guess the rule of thumb here is if you want to buy an american brands go to US, and european brands go to europe, its that it? Another thing do you happen to know if the price is standadize allover europe? I mean if i bought feragammo in la vallee itll be the same price as well in italy designer outlets? Thanks a bunch

Is there another coupon for shuttle? The current one doesn’t seem to work.

Try google la vallee shuttle/bus coupon code. That’s how I found mine last time, but they keep on changing it.

LOVE your channel. I'm always in Paris but haven't been to this outlet yet. Did you go the Dolce and Gabbana and Moncler shops how were the prices? I went to the outlet in Florence a few years ago and was very disappointed.

Barbs441 I think I went, but didn't look too carefully as the prices weren't surprising me that much in a good way. Unlike the US: ruclips.net/video/8-Uf0hbrOwo/видео.html
So, Florence is about the same?

Travel With Me I went to The Mall in florence in 2011 and thought EVERYTHING with the exception of Tod's and Fendi was way overpriced. Very expensive wouldn't go back.

Also I forgot to ask how did you get the free ride? Is it still going on? I would definitely go if the ride there was free.

Barbs441 Go on the Paris Outlet Tour Bus Website: www.lavalleevillage.com/en/guest-services/chic-travel/shop/shopping-express
And enter the coupon code shown during the 1:00min timeframe of the video.
Hope it still works! Best of Luck.

Hello! I have an upcoming trip to Paris this weekend. I've been wondering how much discount do you get at Céline? If you remember :) Thank you!

    • @TravelWithMe
      @TravelWithMe  9 лет назад

Oguz Baykal I don't, but it was about the same as Woodbury at New York. Typically 30% is the average discount I see at stores however.

Not impressed. While you are right, and it shd be obvious, that buying American brands in Paris makes no sense, even at an outlet, most US outlets don’t carry high end French brands. There is for example only 1 Celine outlet in the US. In NY. The store is small and doesn’t have the range of offerings that LaVallee version does. While Brooks Bros. and Burberry and Polo may offer the massive discounts you describe in the US, most French brands in US outlet s don’t. Chanel at Woodbury certainly didn’t.
In terms of US pricing vs French pricing in general, shopping for French brands in France still makes the most sense so long as the Euro is favorable.
Here is an example. I bought a Cabas leather bag from Celine in Paris. Retail was €2400. At todays exchange rate that translates to $2,756. The same bag at the Celine boutique at any US Neiman Marcus is $3100. Already I saved $344. Then there’s taxes. Buying in France, I got my 12% refund. Net on the bag is now $2,425. Back in the US, I had to add 7% sales tax to my $3100 cost. Net on the same bag in the US would have now been $3,317. My total savings buying the same bag in France, $892. And that’s without trying. Same formula is true for other high end French brands, whether in normal retail stores or French outlet stores. While the offerings at La Vallee may not have been to your taste, To call La Vallee a scam was a disservice to viewers who depend on videos like yours for information. Nothing in this world is free.

Typical.....everything is so much bigger and better in the USA isn't it. If you don't like what we offer in France, don't return.

That's the spirit. American shopping is much better. It's a fact.

Everything is cheaper in the U.S. There is no reason to shop anywhere else for anything you don't absolutely need.

No it isn't. French or European trademarks are going to be cheaper in France or Italy
