Just ordered the nippers. $25 isn’t a bad price after seeing the video. Another good video! I enjoy them all. Thank you.
Thanks for the support and thanks for watching.
Thanks for giving me something to put on my Christmas list. Keep the good stuff coming guys.
Thanks for watching and please stay tuned.
It makes me so happy to see you still making videos all these years later
Thanks for being here all these years.
I picked these up a month ago at AFFTA confluence after talking with the designer about them. They are now my favorite nippers. Period. The angled version is my favorite, though I'll probably pick up the other version too.
Thanks for watching and we agree....these will trump most everything else on the market.
You crack me up, Brian. That has to be the best promotional for Dr. Slick`s Cyclone Nippers, EVER.
Appreciate you watching. Will pass along to him.
Thanks! I already bookmarked to buy next month.
Thanks for watching and we appreciate the support.
Neat product. Thanks for spotlighting them.
Thanks for watching.
Sweet review and this is awesome info. I flat out refuse to spend a ton of money on nippers so I’ve been using nail clippers but these have my attention and likely my money
Thanks for watching and thanks for the support.
Just ordered a pair I was searching YT for the Hatch nippers trying to find out how good they are since they want $147 for them. Came across this video! Thanks.
Thanks for watching and for the support!
Watched this at work yesterday, ordered from you guys today. Some of the "High end" nippers are ridiculous in price. I have been using the $8 sets for a while but they are basically disposable and loose their cutting ability rather quickly. I got the offset as it looks like it would be a more comfortable option to use. I hopped on to this purchase as Dr Slick will soon realize that they could easily charge 30-40% more for this product and it would still be a bargain.
Thanks for watching and thanks for the support.
Brian this is the best video yet. Like hawt budda! Just ordered.
Thanks for watching and thanks for the support!
These are one of the best nippers I've used thus far. It certainly blew away my Simms Pro Nipper that cost 3X as much. Another good test is trimming the New Zealand Wool that is used for indicators. My Simms could only cut through some of the fibers and required multiple cuts. Not so with these. One time - like butta'. They look fairly large however they are the same length as the Simms Pro. You don't get a built-in cleaning needle as most other offerings but for the price and cutting sharpness you can't go wrong.
Thanks for watching.
Wow. That’s really not a bad value when you compare it to that Simms set of nips that comes in at some crazy price. Can’t recall exactly
They are truly an excellent value!
Nice stocking stuffer! 🎄
Agreed. Hope we can get enough!!!
@@Madriveroutfitters Hi. Thanks. All the other websites on line were pretty much out. But I really wanted to get the nippers from you guys. So I waited,. Then ordered today! Thanks! 🙂
Like butter👍 😁
Brian when are you going to get Flips leader wallets back in stock?
Thanks for watching. You'd have to check with Brian on that. E-mail him or give him a call at the shop. He should know.
I love this guy ..
Just checked and he loves you too! Thanks for watching.
@@Madriveroutfitters Hahahah awesome
Looks very nice
Thanks for watching.
Oh that was awesome!
Thanks for being here.
New word...butterful!
That's good....stay tuned.
Great price and work. But think I will use them for bigger set up. Struggled with close cut on small trout flies.
For the smaller stuff you need to tilt the head a bit and they work pretty well. A bit of a trick to it but he'll do a follow-up video. Definitely best on larger stuff though.
Just found my surf fishing nippers!!
Thanks for watching.
Like buddah for those of us in the Boston area. Abel, Hatch, Orvis & Simms should be ashamed of themselves for getting 4,5,6 10x more for similar product.
Thanks for watching. Hard to beat these for the money!
Thank you😉
Just Like Butter😉
Appreciate you being here.
Any idea how frequently these com back in stock? I bet the straight ones would be fine, but I think I’d like the offset ones and no one has those in stock, thanks!
We should have both in stock in the next few days! Be sure to register to be notified.
Just ordered one!
Thanks for the support! We appreciate it greatly.
Got it and love it! Perfection
@@kansasscout4322 Thanks again for the support!
Hi, how do these work with smaller drys and nymphs getting in tight?
Takes a little "tilting" but does pretty well. He's going to do a follow-up for those that are skeptical.....but in general they do just fine.
Brian are you still using these every day?
He certainly is! They are also a staple on the reel winding machine at the shop.
Cant seem to find them in the UK?
We've been shipping them over there like crazy. We'll be happy to send some to you.
I looked at the international postage and it seemed to cost more to post than the item? maybe i read it wrong, ill drop you guys an email
.... absolutely love your site!! @@Madriveroutfitters
Butter & moldy butter?
Butter & herb 💯😂
Thanks for watching.
Didn't see it cut braid ?
Braided dacron.....they do cut standard braid well also.
Technically was the first thing he cut with it. Fly backing is basically just braid, I actually find it tougher to cut through then conventional braid!
Really, thanks for the schooling @@nitronick1220
Thanks for watching.
@@Madriveroutfitters Thank you very mutch... have a nice Weekend.... see you….
But do they come in matt black? Shiny=bad
Apparently not in any other color. Thanks for watching.
Say it together guys.
Just like butter.
Now if only explaining to the wife why I need two more rods would go just as easily as this cuts.
Thanks for watching. Let us know if we can help!
They cut thick and thin braid like butter. I'm afraid my Simms Pro nippers do not. I wish I'd bought these first.
They are amazing!
I’m ordering one save my teeth from chipping lol😂
Thanks for watching and thanks for the support.
@@Madriveroutfitters update took them on the surf they cut 40 pound flouracarbon 30 pound braid..they actually cut mono well..I lost a tooth for some reason the screw was loose and I didn't check but came with spares so I'm good and happy. my wife made me a braided necklace for it so it hangs on my neck under my waders..perfect for night fishing so you're not scrambling for them
what a coincidence, I somehow lost my nippers last time I went fishing, and here's the perfect replacement
We’d be happy to send some your way!
The side cutters look good, but the head on the fingernail style head is too small. imaging not having to put your bifocals to clip of a tiny piece of nylon!
Thanks for watching. Haven't had any complaints as of yet after literally thousands sold!
Should have used it to cut a hook in case you get a barbed fly in your hand
If 20lb wire bite is the top “limit”, it won’t cut a hook for sure.
Abel better lower their nipper prices now!
Abel quit making them!
@@Madriveroutfitters Good they were overpriced
like butta
Of course! Thanks for watching.
Nice produits and cheap price
We agree!
Whos spending 200 on a set of nippers?!
Well, quite a few folks. We do sell a ton of the Abel and Hatch nippers through the shop. Some folks like expensive things and that's ok.
@@Madriveroutfitters to each their own. people can spend their money how they want. Guess I'm shocked people actually buy them at those price points.
Sure it can trim line, but can you trim your fingernails with them? 🙄
Just tried and not recommended. They actually make ones specifically for fingernails. Check Walgreens, CVS....places like that.
When I saw and heard the Clic of the best fishing and reading glasses around I laughed to myself…as a person who has just given in to actually needing reading glasses the Clic glasses are the best for fishing and not losing. I’m buying two of the Dr. Slicks right now as well😂😂😂. The steelhead are not going to be happy when I hit the river😂😂😂
Thanks for being here and thanks for the support!
😂love it!!! Just like butter 🧈 🎉very impressive product but the way you’ve put it here made it the best ever ever ! 😂 love it and gonna ask Santa to bring me one
