I have just ordered a 425 2 Hybrid. I have played hybrids to replace long irons for 15 plus years. I am now 62 years old and the 17 degree 2 hybrid will replace my fairway wood. Grow old gracefully but with animal cunning!
Hi Sophie. Loved this video. We have similar swing speed so when I want to watch a comparison video, I always try to check your channel and your on course discussions are great. Ping G410 hybrids have been very good to me. I have also thought about ditching the 6i for a high lofted Ping hybrid. The course I play at is often very wet... the longer club length and shallower angle of decent of the hybrid along with the wide sole make playing off VERY wet fairways quite a bit easier. Energy transfer is also better. Thanks for this video !!!
I'm with you on the fact that hybrids are just easier to hit and so I bought the 3 hybrid 19° Tensei ck orange 80gram shaft, can't wait for it to arrive!
Thanks again Sophie love your honesty, really refreshing. I would choose hybrid all day now over crossover, I have the M6 but might be tempted to go for ping this year.
New subscriber..very good and timely reviews for me, as exactly what issue I am pondering. After watching this ,ordered 425 3H. I like the ability to adjust loft. Thanks
Great review as always Sophie, I tried the crossover & hybrids last week & like you the hybrid suits me so much better - can’t wait to pick up my 3 next week & 4 next month 😁👍
Patiently waiting for my new G425 irons, miss the 3 iron, although in the new standard lofts, the new 4 is the old 3 iron from the now ancient Ping i3 Oversize irons in my bag. Tried a Crossover G425 3 and liked it, but didn’t love it. Maybe I need to finally open my mind to a hybrid. You helped me select the G425 irons vs. i210 as well, thank you. It’s about striving to break 80 and having fun doing it...didn’t get an invite to the Masters this year 😬 A female perspective on the game sets ego aside, refreshing reviews, keep it up!
Hi Sophie - I’ve got a bit of a scatter gun approach: 22 deg. 3 hybrid, 5 wood and 3 driving iron in the summer. I’ve got work to do on technique but I definitely feel more confident with a 2 or 3 hybrid and 3 iron for summer links conditions and lots of run. I run a mile with the 5 wood which begs the question, why is it in the bag ?’ Great review by the way 👍
Once again an excellent video detailing the hybrid and crossover. I prefer the the hybrid rather than the crossover. I currently play the Ping G400 Hybrids but was very impressed by the G425 hybrids. Once lockdown is over I’ll contact Ping and book a complete bag fitting including irons. Great video keep them coming and I will always watch them.
Thanks for the great feedback Charles. We've got plenty more planned for 2021 so stay tuned and make sure you ring that bell so you don't miss a thing.
Great review as usual. Prefer the hybrids and currently play the Calloway Rogue Hybrid but fancy a look at the Ping G425 Hybrid when the Pro shop opens again as i have 410 irons From Clee GC
Great video again,my longest iron is 5,I hate long irons,I'm a hybrid player, cannot wait to test the g425 range, but whilst testing ,I'll try the crossover,👍⛳
Really helpful review, Sophie. As much as the Crossovers look great I just don't think I generate enough club head speed to get the best of it so I think I'll stick with the hybrid 👍👍👍
Such a good review and I learn so much from your commentary. You crushed the hybrid compared to the crossover and the 4-iron. Wasn’t even close. But, isn’t the Ping 3-hybrid 3 degrees stronger than the 4-iron and crossover you hit? I’m trying to pick between a PXG demo 3-driving iron, Ping g425 4-hybrid and Mizuno JPX 921 HM 4-iron for last spot in my bag. It’s tough to get it right. But for you, it’s hybrid all day.
Just bought a G425 iron set 4-sw now looking for a club that I can get around 200yrds+ maybe mid fairway off a Tee as im not the best with a driver need to try these. It's between the Cross over, Hybrid and fairway wood. I have no idea. My Iron shots are always more consistent than wood shots just confused :) :) :) haha
Your reviews are consistently very good. Easily one of the top reviewers on RUclips.
Thanks a lot Ryan, please help our channel grow by sharing our review son social media and telling golfing friends all about the channel!
Thank you Ryan

I’m with you Sophie. Hybrids all the way as a mix of G410 and G400 and love them.

Love it when Sophie does the reviews. So good.

Good review! I have not hit hybrids well off the deck. You hit the hybrid very well. I will head over and check the Ping hybrids.
Thanks for the great feedback. The G425 hybrids are some of the best I have ever hit - well worth a try!

Really honest review - thanks. If I could I’d have some hybrids from this range to replace my G15s that are getting tired.

why would you have a lockdown if your outside??? the science dictates the virus is contracted indoors...
Thanks Charles. Look a lot better now the turbulator has gone
Good review..not afraid to say you don't get on with a club👍
Got a feeling a 22° G425 might find a way into the bag.....maybe the fairways too.
Thanks for a great review.
What about hybrids vs the equivalent fairway woods, what are the differences. Thanks Chris
TOP review! Thanks

Nice one Mark - thanks for the great feedback. Yes, the G425 range is full of great products, just about getting the one that is right for you.
What would u say r better woods the new ping range or SIM 2 range,I play SIM driver, but i210 irons so will try them both 👍⛳
Thanks Sophie. I really enjoy your reviews as we have reasonably similar swing speeds. Keep up the good work. Srixon and Mizuno perhaps?
Already got 3; 5 & 6 hybrids ,but thinking of adding 7
How do these match into my 5 wood .?
I quite fancy of adding a 7 wood as well
It's all about doing your own testing with a fitter you trust to make sure you have the top end of the bag sorted Andy.
Check the lofts and do a gapping test to find out how far they all go
Really helpful review, Sophie. As much as the Crossovers look great I just don't think I generate enough club head speed to get the best of it so I think I'll stick with the hybrid 👍👍👍
Thanks for the great feedback Kevin - glad you found it helpful.

Great demo Sophie. I’ve ordered 6 and 7 hybrid from the boys at Cleethorpes gc. Can’t wait to try them out ! Maybe take a quid off your dad lol 😂
Hahahaha great stuff Wayne! Send our regards to the guys at Cleethorpes GC!
@@GolfalotTV will do 👍

Irons off the tee is more accurate than hybrids. Hybrids more forgiving but irons more shape control.
What is your opinion compare to the 410 hybrid?
I didn’t play it but I did have the g400 in the bag whilst on tour. And they were really good.
