Just what I needed to hear at the moment John, thank you. Not a good time for me and my family at the moment and this lovely little warbler has brought a tear to my eye!!
I've just noticed that his didn't post at the time. So sorry to hear about your personal troubles Dee. I’m very glad that the video helped and hope that this year is going to be a happier one for you.
I was at the Barnes Wetlands centre yesterday and at 5 o'clock as I was having to leave a bird made a loud fast call of a 4 notes sequence twice. I can only presume it was a Cetti's. Your helpful video has helped me identify it. Thank you
Thank you very much Trudi. It was my original motivation to try to make videos that helped with ID and also celebrated the beauty of the natural world.
Thật tuyệt khi bạn đánh giá cao nền cũng như chủ đề của video của tôi, bạn của tôi. Loài chim này luôn ẩn nấp nên thật sự rất đặc biệt! Trân trọng, John 😊
nice little bird with a rather unexpected explosive and beautiful call ! over here in Holland it has made it's return and about 250 species has been counted this year ! ...
Many thanks for this video. I work in an office just outside Wakefield city centre but close to lots of wetland and I'm sure that this is the bird I keep hearing. It wasn't a song that I recognised and has taken a lot of elimination to get to a successful conclusion. Thanks once again.
That seriously destressed me on a Tuesday morning. Thank you for this beautiful footage, and the snippets of info. I am hoping this would be an incentive to get back to bird watching which I haven't done since childhood.
That’s great to hear. I hope you can get back - it’s a fascinating hobby and there’s such a supportive community. There are loads of groups on social media who will help and encourage you.
Thank you TheSection59 for sharing my video - greatly appreciated! I'm very interested to know that it's now resident in Holland. Is this a new species for you - possibly because of global warming - or have they always been part of your fauna?

I'm about 9 years late but many thanks for this John. Just confirmed what we heard walking to Cley early this am.
Great to know it’s still being watched, thank you so much for letting me know!
Your videos are excellent John, so helpful! Thanks.
Jos Joslin Thanks for taking the time to reply Jos! It’s really useful when working on other videos to know that they are proving helpful! 👍

Đẹp quá ! Vừa đẹp vừa dễ thương ! Những chiếc lá trên cành cây mà chú chim nhỏ đang đậu cũng đẹp nữa. Tiếng chim trong trẻo dễ thương ! 😊

Cetti's warbler
It is!
@@johnluk thanks lol, it was only part of the comment as my phone ran out of battery. We get them a lot in N. Devon now.
@@mersmithy1269 😅 I did wonder! Isn’t it annoying when your phone dies mid post? Just happened to me tonight and lost what I was typing!
@@johnluk yes 🤣
