I remember back in the UK during Christmas time we always had repeats during UK TV and the movie 'BIG' would always be repeated along with 'Planes Trains and Automobiles' and this film always reminds me of my childhood and the feeling of it, thank you so much for shooting this video, a big fan from the UK, it makes me want to go watch that iconic 80s movie from the 80s right now!
Aww my boyfriend from like 20ish years ago lived just a couple houses down from “Josh’s” house. He was in school down in Atlanta where I live and we went up there one summer to visit with him family at his childhood home right there in Cliffside Park and I just remember being so blown away/excited… so nostalgic 🥰🥰
This movie brings back so many memories from being a Kid in the 80's. I've always wondered if the people who live in these homes know that a major movie was filmed in their home. Great filming location ,thank you Jordan.
Thankyou. This is so awesome!. The best movies came from the 80s and 90s. Imagine in 40 years people visiting the movie sets of today? They could just hang a green screen up in thier lounge room.🤦♂️
Tom Hanks ROCKS 😊❤ LOVE LOVE LOVE his Movies and I have always heard great things about him. Really great to see these Locations. Thanks as always Jordan ❤️🥰😍🇨🇦😘🫶
I worked at Playland in the summers of '85 and '86. I lived a few miles away in Port Chester at the time. Of all the rides I operated, the Bumper Cars was my favorite. I had the longest lines because I made up games for the kids. I'd have the red and blue cars team up against the yellow and green cars, then every so often I would switch it up so that the red and green went against the blue and yellow, and I'd do every color combination. One time there was only one yellow car being used so I told all the riders "Get the yellow car!" and the kid in the yellow car was like "NOOoooo!". lol After the ride was over, they all run out the exit and get back in line to ride again.
I went there a few times in the late '80s with my father and grandparents.. It is one of the few times I had a positive interaction with my father. I think I went there at least twice maybe three times..it's funny how you do things as a kid just a few times with certain people and it's stuck in your memory
The part where he tells her she’s the only reason he is hesitant to go back. 😢 I like to think Josh looked her up after he had turned 18 and ended up together.
This was a magical movie at the time. Thanks for all the information about it and for showing us the filming locations. I wonder what the 2 boy actors are doing now. ❤️Jodie 🇦🇺
awesome tour of my fav movie Big, a child’s wish to be big played out in such a fantastic movie- who else wanted to be big like I wished too when I was growing up
Tom Hank’s is a favorite, since Bosom Buddies!! What a fun experience! You did an excellent job with this video!! I felt like I was there enjoying the sites!! Thanks!!
I’m so glad I have this movie in my recordings. Thank you Jordan for taking us to these filming locations. It brings back all the nuances and awkward moments of growing up. Penny Marshall did a great job in directing “Big” and Tom Hanks capturing the ways of a child in a man’s body & and his young friend staying in character as Josh’s friend was spot on as well. Elizabeth Banks also interacted perfectly with Tom Hanks. Also, seeing Jah relaxing was priceless❣🐾🙏❤
Love that movie and we loved going to Playland all of our lives being from New York. The dragon coaster in the park is so much fun and also seen in the movie in the date scene.
Another great video, whoever did the editing for you on here, they did a awesome job, I love seeing the actual movie spots when you're standing in the same place, great job.
Another great video Jordan brought back a lot of memories of my childhood. Have you ever thought of exploring where Forest Gump was filmed? Thanks again.
Thank you so much for bringing us along as always this is so amazing one of my favorite movies growing up thank you for showing us what it looks like nowadays
I like this sort of stuff! Just discovered your channel. When I was once in San Francisco we took a tour and when we went by the house from Mrs. Doubtfire I could hardly keep my composure! I was more intrigued then seeing the golden gate bridge. Something about being right there at something I saw on TV, it was so amazing to me.
I’m from Denmark, and I too adore this film! Thank you for taking us along, it’s so surreal to see such locations 35 years later (and no doubt way more surreal to see in person) Thanks for this video :-)
Hi Jordan, you do make me laugh when you are singing. What a great film, I think we all wanted that wish to be big when we were kids, now it's the reverse. Great vlog Jordan.
You also could’ve added Josh and Billy’s school which is not far from there. I used to have my dance recitals there as a child. Scenes were also filmed on Anderson Avenue in Cliffside, however, it has changed a lot since 1988. I was a kid when this was all being filmed and lived in the next town over!
Wow, this video hit hard. Big resonates so much with me, as I'm sure it does many others. It was a huge part of my childhood. I've always wanted to go to Playland Park / Seapoint. Hoping I'll make it one day.
Benn part of playland as a kid growing up in Scarsdale and now working for Westchester Parks Dept. which we ran Playland up until last year. Not much has changed scenic wise over my 45 years alive. Rides have been changed, the New York Rangers hockey team used to practice there for decades but now practice down the street from me in Tarrytown NY, about 15 minutes away. Jordan, you should stopped at the Tiki bar in the back there, nice place for a drink and some lunch or dinner
BIG: One of my favorite 80s films by far! I'll tell ya though. You set me straight Jordan...All this time, I didn't realize the 1st Zoltar scene was filmed near the George Washington Bridge in that park in NJ. When I first saw your narrative, I was like " wait a minute, I thought it was shot in Rye Playland, NY!" Then as I watched I saw the 2nd Zoltar scene and realized I was partially right. All this time, I had it wrong...and I'm from NY lol. Penny Marshall did a superb job with this film. so touching yet funny. Tom Hanks was incredible. Thank you Jordan for enthusiasm and great narrative on this film. We feel the same way you do!
One of my all time favorite movies! Bro your channel is sooo good Always forget it was directed by penny marshall...her granddaughter lives here in Portland hoping to meet her she was talking to a friend about her grandmas starring on the simpsons as the baby sitter bandit.
I always had a huge crush on Elizabeth Perkins after seeing this as a kid. I always thought too that he only needed to wait 5 years and he could look her up again haha.
It's truly amazing, we would watch these movies. Let's take "BIG" for example. Get caught up in the story line. Thinking it's real. And you, Jordan has mentioned this before. Years later, you or anyone can visit the actual filming locations. And it was a fictional story. Thanks Jordan for sharing this. I've been to a few filming locations of different movies.
Right now thank you for taking us along with you. Such memories. ❤
Well we now know why you love Zoltar so much. Great vlog Jordan I enjoyed it very much. Thanks.

BIG was one of favorite movies as a kid. One of Tom Hanks best movies.
Another movie I need to see. I really liked that house and the neighborhood. No grass to mow and pretty landscaping.
One of the best films ever made. I’ve not seen it in years but you can bet your life I’ll be watching it this weekend.
Ever since I watched the movie as a wee lad 12+yr ago, I've been wanting to use a Zoltar 🧙♂ WISH machine. I know I'm not the only one. 😅
This movie brings back so many memories from being a Kid in the 80's. I've always wondered if the people who live in these homes know that a major movie was filmed in their home. Great filming location ,thank you Jordan.
Takes me back to my childhood. I sure miss the 80’s.

I will admit I got all teary eyed watching this , and I think it’s because I was once that kid.
"Big" was always one of my favorite films of the 1980s as a kid. Thanks for sharing this with us Jordan and Jaws!

The FAO piano playing scene and just being able to have a paying job to play with toys totally got me as a kid with this movie, ugh love it so much ❤
