I was absolutely stressed during wedding planning. It was the multitude of decisions I had to make. Like I knew what I wanted, but I had never planned anything that big before, and I questioned everything. There are so many ways to do things, so you just have to keep it simple and keep it YOU. We had a 55-60 person wedding, and it was just lovely. It was very intimate and felt manageable on the day. I remember being very present and able to soak it all up. Switching gears, please PLEASE don't get lip filler. You have the most beautiful natural smile. We are more picky of ourselves, but I'm telling you don't let the lip filler craze make you think anything is wrong with your lips. I too struggle with it, but it's a lot more than how we look in pictures. We don't get to see ourselves laugh and smile in real time, so we judge ourselves too harshly based on a picture or image in a mirror.

You are so right follow your heart when it comes to your wedding. I had a 56 person wedding.. and DO NOT REGRET IT at ALL…it was the best wedding I have ever been to although I may be biased. I truly believe if I had, had a large wedding I would have regrets about over spending.
This January we will celebrate 22 years of marriage. 💕

I think you have a beautiful smile and never thought about the size of your lips. I agree with you - if someone wants to do some cosmetic work, go for it! I am 40 and haven’t ever done anything but prob will at some point. I just don’t like my makeup creasing.

Hear you on the outrageous wedding quotes. My fiancée and I are lucky that our parents are splitting the wedding but we just feel so guilty about the prices of everything! We’re doing a lot of decor ourselves (signage, fans bc summer Charleston wedding, etc) and being mindful of save vs splurge but good lord
the wedding industry is crazy right now!!
The pet thing is SO REAL. I love my dog but yeah, it would be nice not to have those worries.

My dad also refuses to get another dog for the same reason. He had to put my childhood dog down by himself after we had all moved away and he said it was the worst thing he’s ever done!
