Nicole started in TV in Australia and has proven to the world she is a fierce actor with an ability to work with so many amazing auteurs from Kubrick to Baz to Campion to Von Trier. Nicole Kidman is splendid and glamorous. I love her movies.
Her best ever performance was in the Australian mini series Vietnam. Made in 1986/7. If you are a fan then you must see this. it eclipses anything else she has ever done . Brilliant . This was her big break.

Nicole Kidman won an oscar for The Hours in 2003 and she was nominated again for Rabbit Hole! She has the hollywood walk of Fame now and she has made it as an actress. I always liked Nicole Kidman even when she did BMX Bandits back in 1983. Dead Calm put her career in motion b/c Tom Cruise saw it back in 1989 and met Nicole and married her and they were married for 10 yrs and then divorced Nicole Kidman's career finally jumpstarted and put her on the map. She wasn't Tom Cruise's wife anymore she was Nicole Kidman. Everything she does is great.
