Right now nam is running in most everyone's home and studio. That's where a lot of attention is going. Amp videos are almost dead due to no one can afford them atm until inflation simmers down. Low budget is the route.
2:38 it’s because people are looking for the best deal, I’m not paying market price for anything. It’s not personal, I will buy something and fix it if it means saving money. I’m sure there are many out there doing the same thing. That of course is not me saying you aren’t right too. If I was selling gear too I would do the same. We’re all looking for those diamonds in the rough or those hot barn finds. They are rare but still out there. I would actually buy from a reputable seller (like yourself) before a box store, in the end it’s more about what’s available for the best price/condition. What I hate is when someone has something priced high with low condition.
Definitely gonna be a slog for the first year or so. Hopefully the economy will start to get better soon. You may need to get out to the people, rather than wait for them to come to you? Obviously, your counting on some local business to keep things afloat. I'd still suggest a few roadtrips and the mobile option. Enough people know who you are, but can't afford to get up that way. If you bring the experience to them, it makes it more practical for people to afford. Even if you did like 4 shows on the road each year. It would help get the word out.
