I hope they add electric motor maps like they have in lmu. I don't mind the basic ers modes but the ability to fine tune the output and Regen over a race is pretty fun. Also an update to traction control systems would be nice too specifically being able to adjust TC cut
I agree with everything you just said 💪🏻 I have not had the chance to try LMU yet? What was your take? Did you enjoy your time with it or is there a lot of work to be done?
@@TraumaTeamRacing I quite enjoy LMU actually but it requires much more concentration than AMS2 that's for sure. And special attention to not locking the brakes up because if you get flat spots you really really feel it through the wheel lol. it's more on the realistic side and I'd say it's worth the current price. It's not as easy and dare I say fun to just pick up and go as AMS2 but once you get the hang it sure is rewarding. There is a bit of jank in the menus pre race but actual driving and racing has been solid for me with no issues. It is lacking in some important telemetry for external devices but I'm sure that will be fixed.. The sounds are sublime and I find myself racing with my headphones way too loud LOL
Are you saying the handling in AMS2 is more forgiving do you think? I look forward to giving it a go! The more sims available the better I say. Sound is a very important factor for me. I am pleased that that is up to scratch 💪🏻
I love to mess around in AMS2 its a great-looking Sim and it can feel good sometimes depending on the car.. that said.. I have been in a league for about a year. Nearly every race had a bug or quark of some kind that totally ruins any real competition. This game is very buggy and the community is either ignorant to how an actual compedative Sim works or are in denial. Just to name a few. Wrong tire chages in the pit are a craps shoot, messing the finishing order up, throwing penalties where there are none, tiers going from %100 to %0 in one lap not setting issue was set correctly, wet tiers doing the same, UI eating my setups or just not responding at all to inputs seconds befoure a race start, connection issues like crazy!! the balance of performance is non-existent in class, there has been no effort to balance them at all, that is the surface of the issues. This Sim is so far from being any sort of a reliable competitive Sim in any way its crazy.
That would be fun, but if iRacing is anything to go by it might take a performance hit. If they could do it with no loss to performance I am all up for it 💪🏻
I wish they'd keep Formula Ultimate Gen 2 as is and add the new version as Formula Ultimate Gen 3. No point replacing an existing car when you can just keep it and add the new one as a new gen. Allows both to used by those who like one over the other.
The thing is, if they make it better would there be any reason to keep the old one? I guess we will only know once they make the changes. They are usually pretty good. Only time will tell.

Well because I may like the liveries or a driver or team more in 2023 than in 2024 who may not be there anymore. In addition, physics. The 2024 version of the car or the new upgrades may not be as desirable to me as a player so why change something that isn't broken? Leave it there and add the new model as a whole new car. In the mindset of the player, wow, another car to try. May look the same but can have new skins, be a new Gen class and if the physics are not to my liking, I can keep playing Gen 2 but those who love the new version can play that as Gen 3. Best of both worlds. Heck, it even gives possibility of people liking both versions and switching between. That's just me I guess.
Hey Scott lovin the channel and content mate and always keen to hear about a new update but since the last update I went to resume one of my saved championships and found they were not only both deleted but there was no tab to create a new championship. So I have no access to the championship menu. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the sim but to no avail. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as Im only doing single races amd missing my championships.🏎🏎🏎

What I would do in the mean time is head over to the Reiza forum and raise it with them. The developers are usually pretty active on there.

Maybe they will finnaly fix the UI so my pedals will calibrate the full range and i can set my triples up without having to spend 4 hours on it have never look right and make me feel sick the movement is so bad... Im not holding my breath, this is by far the most buggy Sim out right now calling itself a full release, it feels very half-baked and when you mention it the community pretends its all good. Very disappointed in AMS2 for not getting the basics of there UI working correctly while bosting about new content "you can;t even set triples up properly in this game without a backdoor and a knowledge base," There is clearly too much on the desk at Reiza nothing ever actually gets done and they don't listen to there community. iR just killed AMS for good.
