  • This video gives you an idea of what the exhaust sounds like on the road and on start up. I really struggled to find a review so wanted to put together this video.
I have had this a week now and have never had so much fun going from 0-50. For £235 you really do get value for money. This exhaust is not for everyone. You are after all getting a sports exhaust, so silence and grace are not its strong points, however it really does purr on start up and the quality of materials is just fantastic for the price.
I have done several long journeys and found the noise to be acceptable, minimal drone, although some if you listen - This is the case with all exhausts like this however much retailer/driver claim it is 100% silent. My 2 year old can happily sleep in the back and constantly asks to go in the Mini over our Qashqai.
Overall very happy and a good saving over the Milltek. If you have a first gen Mini Cooper One or Cooper and want to give your Mini a bit of a roar, then you can't go wrong.
Apologises I didn't wash the car for the video, country side driving means washing pretty much every day
Any questions add a comment below and thanks for watching
    Powerful UK Website Overview
    1) This made in the UK from 304 grade stainless steel.
    2) 1 year warranty against rust and cracking and other defects.
    3) The rear silencer has been designed to be as flat as possible so that as little as possible is visible from the rear of the car.
    4) The join between the inlet pipe and the silencer has a skid plate added so that if you are going over a speed bump there is not an edge that can catch - this is ideal if your vehicle has been lowered.
    5) The clamp that is used to join the 2 parts of the system together is welded in place - this makes fitting the system much easier as you don't have to hold the clamp in place when fitting the parts together and tightening the bolts.
    6) This is a 2 piece system - this means there are less joints to leak and come loose than on systems with 3 or 4 parts. ( we would love to make a 1 piece system but it would be too long to post ! )
    7) No modification is needed to the rear bumper - this fits neatly with the 3.5" polished tailpipe fitting into the cut out on the right side of the rear bumper as per the standard exhaust system.
    9) This is a single box system with maximum flow and uses the latest silencer technology to achieve excellent noise levels even at high speeds

Thanks buddy. Such a shame the new Mini's have stopped the John Cooper Works exhaust doing pops and bangs from stock. How rude of them to care about the environment 😂

Yes the exhaust does all the hard work here. It is just the air build up, gear change and the internals of the exhaust for the woosh

Hi there, I hope you are well. Thanks for the comment. Not an affiliate of these guys, so agree it would be nice to have longer warranty. 15 months on, had no issues and looks as new. So for the price, (half of the well known brands) it has done well.
