- Somehow I just won the graphics category in the 53rd Ludum Dare... It's a lot of luck in the ratings at the higher ranks, but I'm still really excited that Moonrabbit Collection placed so high.

The fact that you made a game and came first in ludum dare before I finished procrastinating putting a tile set in my game is amazing. Well done.
Wow that's a really big achievement, hope there's many more to come!
you fully deserve this. Your graphics are just awsome.
Actually so deserved, I haven't watched that many of your recent videos but your pygame tutorials are actually so good. Your games look so polished and look so fluid, it's clear that you put a shit ton of effort into them.
Holy shit! This is incredible!! Well done mate. Just comes to show that only a bad craftsman blames his tools. You made first place in a Ludumdare category using MS paint and Pygame. Absolute madlad haha! Keep up the awesome work.
Hi, just wanted to say you deserve that! I've been subscribed to you since summer 2020 (according to some random website) and watched your videos since even earlier. And I can't ignore how much you have improved in your artistic expression (and coding as well), just keep it up! Cheers!
Congratulations! I personally also love your art style
Completely deserved, currently making my own framework for pygame and I'm pretty exited to see that this is possible with python. Keep up the great work
well done. Great news for you. Getting rewarded for your hardwork.
Congratulations :)
Congratulations man! 🎉 Your art is really impressive, God bless you!
I really love the art style and graphics of your games! good job
You and your work are a big inspiration for me, I used to make games, but now I'm a software engineer and got somewhat good at coding making software but I'm really tempted going back to game development
Wow !! This Is a good point to start, waiting for the next ;)
thank you for setting a bar not easily obtained and congratulations.
Congratulations 🎉 Fluffy
Congrats dude! You deserve it. Love your channel.👏
congratulations !!! you are so amazing ive learnt so much from your videos ! keep it up
Wow congrats! Your stuff has always looked great
Congrats, really deserved after all the hard work putting in to it!
You deserve it! It's great to see your progression throughout the years
Congratulations! Also shows from using what you have, as long as the focus is on what you're trying to do, anything is possible!👌🏼
well deserved, you've been underrated for a long time. It's time you got some recognition.
Congrats, it's not the tool, but the man that uses to tool that makes the difference
well congratulations mannnn!!!!
Congratulations!
That pixel art does look beautiful
Congratulations! That's incredible. You've been a great inspiration.
Man should have gotten 1st in the music section as well the song is so good for this game. Slightly gives me liminal vibes at times
congratulations! that's cool
Your work is really inspiring to me as a Python dev. Keep it up!!
Amazing! Congratulations.
Hey, I was just checking out your itch page and I saw that your Moonrabit Collection page has a video. I was wondering how you did it cause I thought it looked really cool and I would like to recreate it.
The timelapse and the livestreams are in a playlist, so you can look into pretty much whatever you want:

@@DaFluffyPotato Thanks!!! I'll check it out.
Just goes to that you don't necessarily NEED an advanced pixel art tool like aesprite. Its all about the artistic skill and creativity.
100% deserved, you'r impressive
proving the haters wrong, wining the best graphics with a game made in pygame and art in mspaint ahah
Awesome! Congratulations!
Congratz!
Congrats !!!
CONGRATS DUDE!!!!
as you should because your graphics are crazy good
Congrats!
That's crazy man but you deserve it.👍You make things in pygame that look better than hit games I've played.
That's really cool, hopefully I can one day achieve that!
Good job! I love your games!
PS:I got mentioned in the video POG!!!!
Amazing, stuff. Should be proud. Love to see a tutorial on how you use MS Paint to produce such art? Be great to learn that...
Now you need to win a vid-editing contest with Movie Maker.
well done mate
Been following your channel for awhile now Fluffy Potato. I'm on my own gamedev learning journey this past year alone starting off with pygame. Been having fun and wondering if you have made a video on how to do file paths for home made sprites. I'm going through a udemy tutorial on pygame having fun with it this past year. I have been stuck with learning file pathing on fetching my home made sprites with. Started my journey back in October last year and made my own take of asteroids and had a blast. now I'm creating a crossy road clone with my own twist. Thanks for being one of many inspirations on my gamedev journey.
congrats dude
This is awesome.
Have you considered trying out any of the other frameworks that are available?
If I remember correctly you were using some open gl shaders as well
None of the others interest me.
Awesome dude!
For real though I always expected that to happen, the game had a lot of potential and it looked athetitc, good luck on your next games
Well deserved!🎉
you motivate me bro
Nice achievement, hope there is more to break!
lets gooooooo
Congrats
That's amazing, lol
You deserve this!
I was wondering, have you used the pixel art editor you developed for some of your game projects? Or do you mainly use mspaint/asesprite?
I used it for some animations in my older games like Super Potato Bruh.
gg!
nice
It's not about tools, it's how you use them
Yeah 👍😁👍😁👍😁😁👍
I think for 2D games in term of graphics it really doesn't matter what engine you use, since you don't need a special rendering, you just have to make a good looking 2D art, there is no 3D rendering or shaders.
There are shaders though. There's lots of visual effects code aside from the artwork.
It's official, MS Paint is goated.
hello DaFluffyPotato
Can I use your PiGame tutorial resources in my school club?
yeah
Can You release an updated version of this game with 'A' 'D' Controls pls
The control layout is defined as ascii ints in the config. You can mod the controls layout pretty easily.
@@DaFluffyPotato ah ok thanks
Congrats!
