Thanks for featuring so many Academy kits in your videos. Many of their early kits were plagued by bad fit and soft details, so I'd stayed away from them. Your videos have convinced me that they've cleaned up their act and are now producing good, build-able models. I'll definitely give them a try.
Great job on the Merkava Andy. You amaze me how quickly you can build, paint and weather a model tank and make it look so simple too. I know you put in a lot more time than we get to see, but you just seem to have a natural gift for modelling. Many thanks for sharing this latest build and I am already looking forward to seeing the next one.
Have fun,
Joe
Thank you Joe , I am pretty quick but that's from doing this so long, but I enjoy it and I have spare time while I'm at the store
Wow, that is an impressive technique using black as the base coat and applying the final color as the second coat! I'm building a Merkava right now and I'll try this on my model. Thank you for this video!
Another great video, watched it while taking a break from moving my modeling stuff
to our new house.... I had no idea I had so many models!
Awesome work again Andy. The paintjob highlights really brought a nice looking tank to life.
I regret not buying that kit when I saw it at local hobby shop now. If I ever do anything outside WW2 this will be it.
The Merkava MKII is, imho, the most interesting looking Merkava. I'm sure they had a reason to make the MK 4 with the huge turret, but this assymetrival front and turret front is outright amazing.
wow Andy this turned out great!! love how you added highlights to raised panels and with the black base coat makes the whole thing pop!! awesome job!
great build ,I remember in the 70s model tanks came with electric motor and gearbox that use to run on 2 double A batteries ,miss those models
Just bought this kit Andy, here in the UK, based on our work. Very inspiring-keep it up.
Wonderful to watch the fabulous builds Andy. You have reinvigorated my love for armour modelling with your honest approach. Where sometimes parts are broken off, lost in the carpet or fitted upside down, we've all done it but your finished models are just fabulous! A huge thankyou and we in the UK wish you every success for the future.😀
another awesome video Andy keep them coming
Parabéns, construção e pintura fantástico.
Great build.... one of the best Academy kit out there..... Thanks for sharing !
Thank you
G'day Andy from down under! great build and outstanding results. Enjoy the tutorials so will have to do one and follow your tips. Cheers mate!.
Thank you, Andy another great video.
Great job as usual. I'm mostly an aircraft builder but you make me want to get into some armor.
I have become a huge Academy fan, just enough parts. Fit is always good.
Really nice work, Andy. Lots of useful tips there for me to try out. Thank you.
Thank you for watching
Hi Andy,
As one of my managers says, 'love your work' as I have said before you are a true inspiration. keep building strong.
Les
Thank you Les
You deserve more subs Andy. These awesome, detailed build through vids have genuinely helped me and I can say for sure that my models have shown improvement as a result of your tips!
thank you for watching
We Love you Andy! Congrats on 20K subscribers!!!!!!
Thank you
Congrats on the 20K. Love watching your videos.
I'm a new subscriber and I have to thank you for all your videos.
I haven't made a 1/35 model since 25 years and I've just finished a beautiful Tamiya PzIII ausfL. It's a complete success because of you.
So thank you again !
Greetings from France.
That is wonderful glad to have you modelling again thanks for watching
I am a huge fan of your videos. I just built my first tank and relied heavily on your suggestions. What I would like to see, just a friendly suggestion, is some videos on specific techniques; chipping, mud, color choices, airbrushing, etc. I find myself scrubbing through different videos to find how to do that dust coat again?? Thanks again for putting these together!
Congratulations Andy, love your builds and channel; I really enjoyed the visit to your shop. Cheers, Stephen
thank you for watching

Your videos are great and really helpful
Very good model!!
this and hand made boats are the channels that default loop on the TV at our house and all my roommates get hypnotized and forget what they are doing when they start watching
Man, that's one sexy looking AFV! Almost looks like something out of Warhammer 40K! It would be fantastic if someone did one of these in 1/48 scale! Thanks for the video, and congrats on 20K!!
congrats on the 20k. I've built this one and enjoyed it very much. shame the anti slip texture isn't included , but for the price you can't go wrong
Thank you for watching
The reason you have 20k subscribers is that you have a great channel. Congratulation on both!

Nice model and build. I am off to find this. Keep up good work.
Love the videos. I look forward to every new one you post.
Just a comment but I would have loved to see how you did the machine guns. I've enjoyed your techniques and I could use some tips on doing bare metal weapons.
Well, you are welcome... I just really enjoy watching your show...
Wow, congrats on 20K. Nice build too.
thank you for watching

I just re-watched your video of the Merkava 2D and it is a great tutorial of building, painting and weathering. Thanks once again, Andy. Looking forward to seeing ur next build video.
In India it is not easy to get your hands on kits like this. Got my friend to get one from USA Just finish making the same model thanx for your video and tips it helped
Great work Andy :) need to finally start buliding a modern armor ;)
thank you , yeah I always stayed with WWII but I have been having fun with the modern
Nicely done as always, Andy. I've built one of the Merk IIIs back five or six years ago. I scratch-built all the ball and chain armor. Talk about a pain in the buttocks!!
yeah I thought about upgrading it but your right so much work
Love love love the music!
Thank you
wow, good job and thank u
Hey Andy, grats on the 20k subs and another very nice build.
Thank you
you just always...always make it look so easy. I wish you would try Mr Cement S...I find it easier to work with than Tamiya, and that is saying a lot because I am a huge Tamiya fan.
GOOD JOB ANDY
под вашу музыку хочеться танцевать как в те времена
congrats on 20,000 Andy
THank you
Beautiful model, congratulations on 20,000 subs and enjoy the new phone!! 😁🙌
Thank you for watching
The idea behind the poly caps is the fact that the kit can be motorized!!!!!!!
I was expecting you to make the anti slip coating on it with some plaster and sand but overall it looks real good
Nice build and congratulations on the 20.000 subscribers
Thank you Joshua
Congrats, but you have a talent that goes well for your videos!!! Hope it translates to cash to keep you going!!!!
Nice job Andy! Congrats on 2K! Love the behind the scenes videos too!........ i can never get my washes to flow as easily as you do... is there a secret?
Thank you Terry
if my father says : how did you paint that? then i say: i got it all from Andy.i love your video's and keep doing this because its beatifal and perfect!;)
The box looks just huuuge
Wow 👍 👏 👌
But you did a fantastic job on the build
Tnx~ You are my pramodel teacher
Thank you
Could you do a Leopard 1, Challenger 2, T-90, T14, M60A3?
I second the M60A3 and the Leopard 1. 60s-80s armor always is fascinating!
Oh by the way can you also make a 1/1 replica of the F117 that got shot down over serbia?
Thats basically you, thats a lot
very very good...
nice build Andy and congratz on 20grr!!!!!!....on your store web sight will you ever list all your inventory? my in laws are snow birds and I would like to send them with a shopping list...I was there this winter and went home with a nice selection from your store
Hi Andy, what is your opinion on using gloss coat before applying washes? I'm following your videos while doing my first 35th scale armor Merkava MK.4 I'm gonna do some pin wash now but I'm not sure if gloss coat over my flat is necessary. Thank you!
Hello,
Spectacular job as always. By the time you have scheduled the work of a Buffalo MPCV 6xx w / Slat Armor?
Thank you
When you did the tracks with some kind of dark metal but could you use the inner of a pencil crush it and use it or doesnt that work?
congrats on 20k subs! btw when are you going to get back on your trainyard diorama? been a while since we saw it
ThANK you! :)
картинка на HD 1080 is COOL!
Brand Spanking new Video.............. :O)
Keep up the good work!!!!
thank you for watching
Я тоже эту модельку собирал. Прикольная. На моем канале есть видеообзор ее, "доукомплектовал" ее цепью на передних кронштейнах
a good build and i like the pre wethering but i think he went a bit over the top with the aftermarket goods no names no pack drill
love all your work andy ,learning a lot , where did you get those tweezer's mate .
Yes, I'm sure that was actual speed when you were putting the shadow layer down...😁😁😁
Another beautiful build Andy! Keep them coming! Do you know by chance if there is a decent Hellcat 1/35 on the market apart from Academy and AFV?
no that's it for now
Great build! Do you use Tamiya paints exclusively ?
As a recommendation I would suggest building the Tamiya T34-85
Andy can't quite see but does that Acadamy Merkava have anti slip coating only it should be course texture on that tank.
未来的な感じ👍
Good job Andy looks great :) how about building a Churchill?
Thank you , I might soon
you are such a lovely man
Nice job Andy. ;) will you make T55, T72 or T90 in the future?
Thank you Pavel I will being some soon
