    This is awesome and the easiest way to simulate anti slip in my opinion! Well done!

    This looks to be a excellent product, better than what I have tried previously, my only concern is this looks too uniform for Israeli vehi le as their anti slip seems a lot rougher, but I would like to try it on other vehicles, best regards from Australia, I will subscrbe to this channel..

      Thanks Les, glad you liked it, the aggregate is up to scale, we did measure it. We just distributed it neatly, this varies from tank to tank. If the grains were any bigger that would translate to a plum-size stones on an actual vehicle. 😉 Happy modelling Chris

    Is it suitable for 1/48 models or the grains would look too big?

      @Vmssupplies  Год назад

      Hello, may be a tad off, but you can check Hull Tex Air - much finer but different application process. ruclips.net/video/y8f3X9brlU4/видео.html

    Could this system be used on model ships decks where anti slip is used on the real ship?

      I don' see why not. Soon we will also publish the finer, airbrushed, version of the product in case somebody si doing smaller scales. Happy modelling, Chris

      @@Vmssupplies Oh, YES Chris....I do plan on purchasing VMS track weathering soln and This product as well.
      They LOOK good, and easy to apply both of those on my NEW built tank(s).
      JUST a Question.... once you place the aggregate onto the surface, How do you place back into bottle...OR ... do you just sprinkle the access from tray onto the tank itself??

    I know it's essentially cement and sand, but I love the result

    • @Vmssupplies
      @Vmssupplies  Год назад +3

      Yup, but not just some cement, this is specially formulated to dry slowly so you end up with flawless result, normal cement dries up quick and you end up with "bald patches", sand falls off easily,you can try it yourself. People have been struggling with creating anti-slip for ages but no more, with this it's perfect every time. Our sand is also up to scale, can't find it in stores unless you can grind it yourself. Happy modelling, Chris

      Amazon is garbage when it comes to listing and offering modelling goods. Boy, the hoops they make you jump to list an item are unbearable. We recommend eBay or model stores, they have it all.

    you have something for 1/16?

    • @Vmssupplies
      @Vmssupplies  7 дней назад +1

      Hi Gary, what model do you have in mind? There is 2 types of anti-slip, 2 grades.

    • @gary851
      @gary851 7 дней назад

      @@Vmssupplies its for 1/16 abrams so smoother than merkava.

    • @Vmssupplies
      @Vmssupplies  7 дней назад

      If this is as smooth as on a Stryker - factory applied, then normal Hull Tex will work. If field modified the more grit will be needed. Please send ma a reference photo to contact@vms-supplies.com I will advise based on that. Chris

    We called it non-skid in the Navy. Didn't matter if on the steps, ladder, flight deck, or Air craft. Non-skid...
