Funny thing about that comment is it shows the squid mechs attaching to the buildings, and they reuse the same scene for the new EA Battlefront 2. Like dang, EA and DICE, reusing something from a TV show right as this guy made the remark.
its amazing how the best charaters and the best stories and episodes are almost always centered around the clones.

The Rise of Skywalker’s space battle had so much going I just completely stopped caring, even more going on than the opening of Revenge of the Sith which was already pretty intense

I'll tell you what....Dave Filoni says some pretty profound things there at the end about 99. As a person with a disability, I can tell you that what he says is exactly true. Growing up all I wanted was to be just like everyone else and it wasn't until I was more mature and a little older that I realized that my condition is what makes me unique and makes me who I am. I hope that someday we will stop treating people based on any political sensibilities that come and go but rather we just treat everyone as people. We are all people...we have very little more in common so that should be the basis for universal respect.

Overall, I love Clones so much. They are not just troopers. They are making whole family and they care each other. It doesn't matter are they created in labolatory. They are special for me. I love them so much. Congratulations you guys. You created my favourite Star Wars characters.

@Kato Ho Ten Soeng The battle with walkers on white field, except now there is no need for walkers because rebels don't have force fields...and they could just hide behind the door...and the only potentially sucessful attack is stopped by Rose so Luke can die and Rey save the day...
The space chase from Empire, except now it's not a small fast ship hiding in asteroids, it's a big slow ship which FO can't catch and destroy with all their fleet and tie-fighters...
The plot with traitor (who just was in their camera and opened it), which can be cut out and nothing changes...
The Throne room scene where main bad guy is killed by his apprentice...except it doesn't change the apprentice, he is still evil and wants domination.
The learing from Jedi in exile, except Jedi doesn't actually teach anything, he just says "the Force exist. Jedi suck. You're close to the dark side. Go away".
That's what copying in bad way means.
I just love this episode of the clone wars because it has that Band of Brothers feel
every episode based on the clones really reminded me of that

I love how the show started in 2008, Rebels started in 2014 and the Clone Wars art style was way better than Rebels lol

Damian Charleston That and the fact that George Lucas personally funded the clone wars, Disney has a tighter budget on its shows. As well as the fact that the show is geared to younger audiences so the violence is toned down as well as the idea that kids don't care or appreciate detail.
The Socialist you're insulting Filoni and the team behind rebels if you think they don't put effort behind their work. Rebels is full of references and details and it's gotten a lot darker. Ezra's throwing troopers of cliffs and Thrawn forces people to test ride bikes he knows will blow up.

I'm a clone person,Echo is my favorite and the battle of Kamino should have been like the battle of umbrama 4 episode long
that the difference between a siege and an invasion. remember that the kamino siege had two objectives. A) cause as much destruction as possible if not destroy them completely and B) take the genetic samples that make the clones. especially the fact that they were doing this quietly on an enemy planet where all the soldiers are means that this couldn't be a long term conflict.

Just seen this, compared to people at lucas film talking about starwars now and the guys talking about it back then just shows how passionate they are by expressions and teary eyes. Compared to blank emotional couldnt care looks of people today. The animation team are still going strong they are the heart and soul of starwars now.

Look how much thought went into creating a Star Wars the Clone Wars episode. It feels like in Rebels they don't have the time/money/ambition to create new designs and construct new environments.
That's how much freedom and money George gave them, one episode of clone wars was 1 million dollars

The Kamino Defense was an emotional episode for me, being as I see Clones as a part of me that could be (Except Commander Fox, fuck that guy) But it was an Episode of Clones desperate to keep their home safe and so many died in doing so. It was awesome, exhilarating, and sad towards the ending of the battle due to 99 sacrificing himself to help in protecting Clones and Kamino. It's a great episode that was almost perfectly executed... like Order 66
I’m confused to the ultimate point of the episode honestly... like why would sidious instruct dooku to instruct Grevious and ventress to get clone dna? Like why... if they needed it (for what) but if they didn’t, couldn’t dooku just instruct the prime minister of kamino to send him some?
You just blew my mind... I never really thought about it
One must remember that the entire war was just a game for Sidious. His end goal was not really for the war to come to an end for either side, but instead to have each side grind down each other's resources in a complete stalemate. The CIS had likely won too many battles in a row, and thus the stalemate was jeopardized. To counteract this, Sidious likely gave Dooku commands to launch an invasion on Kamino, knowing full well that it would be a disaster. The "mission" given to Grievous and Ventress was probably never actually intended to be completed. This same mindset can be applied to many of the battles throughout the war, explaining several unusual Republic and CIS victories.

i dont understand why Disney dont just hand the entire franchise over to Filoni. He's the only filmmaker that understands what the fans want.
Dave Filoni should 100% be in charge of creative direction over at Lucasfilm. He's Lucas' rightful heir. He cares about the fans, he deeply understands Star Wars and storytelling, and he's the closest to Lucas that exists when it comes to having a vision for Star Wars.
There's three or four that are in charge of the way Star Wars is told - outside of the movies; and that includes Filoni of course.
Only one thing, are there 50 clones named Heavy in a batallion, or how do they track their names. Or will it be like it is on every website ever, "nickname already taken"?

Practice, Patience and the most obvious one, the Kaminoans aren’t very observant.
One of the only things that bothered me about this series was the lack of score, and too much filer episodes....
There was no main story, so there were no filler episodes. This show was made to show the events between episodes 2 and 3.

Dave and his crew should have worked on the sequel trilogy from day one Disney should have saw through the lies of Kathleen Kennedy and rain Johnson I wouldn't say JJ counts even though he did just rip off a new hope for Force awakens which should have never happened but he still cared for Star wars but pretty much just gave us of what we've already went through which is not what he should have done so should have just had Dave and his guys worked on it from the start of 2015.
