      The way it is set up actually makes a lot of sense if you were wanting to stash boxes there. But yea, I can see just wanting more shelves if you primarily had singles.

    I feel like I am always in need of more cigar space, 😅. This sounds like a solid unit.
    Great thorough review Joe.

    So you can keep it outside? I live in so cal, and my garage gets awfully hot, but it would be cool to have out there as my garage is sort of man cave. Also, does it matter whether storing cigars in the wrapper or not?

    @AJ11b02 Год назад +1

    I've seen so many conflicting pieces of information - when storing your cigars, do you take them out of the wrapper or leave them in the plastic wrapper?

      I always keep them in the cello. It does not really do much good taking them out unless you are ready to smoke them. The cello helps regulate humidity levels and acts as a barrier against damage.

    Hello and thanks for the video, I can't get my 23L to higher than 65% humidity. Anything I can do? I have a 69% Boveda in it.

    • @Jonosecigars
      @Jonosecigars  Год назад

      You may need to add a little distilled water to the reservoir tub for a while. Keep an eye on the rh after that.

      @@Jonosecigars I put some distilled water in and its already up to 64%

    I have the same one but my temperature is stuck at 43 degrees and it won’t heat it to the desired temperature. Any suggestions?

      I don't think that model has a heating function, just cooling, if I'm not mistaken

    Great video.
    I purchased one of these and encountered an unexpected issue, maybe cause I'm a newbie.
    I started seasoning it per the manual, and I noticed a lot of water leaking on the inside from the cooling fan.
    And it's a lot, pooling on the bottom of the unit. Cleaned it and the next day I had a new pool on the bottom.
    And you can clearly see the marks and drops coming from the cooling fan.
    And in the room the temp is high, 80-85F. I set the unit at 70F. That's why I needed the cooling :)
    Is this "normal" in any way?
    Cooling should still not happen on the inside!? So all that condensation occurs.
    Not sure what the purpose of a coolidor is if it can't cool safely, without showering your cigars?!
    Thank you for any help or suggestions.

      Are you using the water reservoir for humidity or are you using Boveda packs?

    Does this cabinet regulate temperature? Will it keep it at 70 degrees in winter/summer

      It does regulate temperature, but not humidity

    Hi, ours won't heat up to 70. We have had it plugged up for 2 days and it will only go to degrees ??? Any suggestion. Thanks

      I am fairly certain that the cabinet only has a cooling mechanism.

    Season with a 84% Boveda? What temperature wouldnyou set it up for seasoning?

    • @Jonosecigars
      @Jonosecigars  Год назад

      They do have a high humidity Boveda that is above 80%. The temperature should be between 60 and 70 degrees
