    The lawsuit is still active and they're waiting for an "en banc" decision from the 9th Circuit.

      That hearing earlier today got really interesting in the last 15 minutes.

    It's also succeeding because you have judges that have and love their children and grandchildren.

    The Ninth Circuit dismissed the case for lack of standing a week ago... 60 minutes story is moot!

    • @Geotubest
      @Geotubest 5 лет назад +4

      Not moot really. The segment raises awareness of the case and its seriousness. The judgement that it "lacks standing" was decided 2 to 1. Climate change is real. It doesn't go away just because there has been a decision made by two (possibly corrupt) judges. The evidence shows overwhelmingly that the economic costs of doing nothing far outweighs the costs of tackling it. The matter isn't over. around.uoregon.edu/content/dismissal-landmark-climate-lawsuit-might-not-close-book

      @@Geotubest The 9th's "corrupt judges" were the most favorable in the nation to affirm the plaintiffs case . This suit is done and over despite what your links prejudiced article in favor of this case/cause states. READ THE OPINION!

      @@Geotubest They lacked standing. The court is not the solution. They should pressure Congress. No short cuts.

    Maybe we should take great satisfaction in the thought of seeing them profusely wasting their time only to lose and set a legal precedent that hinders future such nonsense and non-science.

      teel6060 what’s wrong with you that you are hoping these people fail. The government has a mandate to regulate and have been instead loosing regulation in favor of industry.
