After owning the Orion Neomatik(38.5mm), I have appreciated their 35/36mm hand-wound models more and more. Long lugs are not a problem for me, especially on those 35/36mm models. BTW, Junghans indeed has some great designs. I also own a grey dial Max Bill hand-wound and I love it.
The 35-36 is definitely a sweet spot for them I feel. I used to own the same Junghans, my only probably with it is it was louder than any other watch I had.
@@theknightswatch Oh I have never noticed that... and actually I am a bit addicted to the tick-tocking. So when I wear my Spring Drives, sometimes I might feel a bit lonely 😅
I can't imagine buying one without the display caseback. their movements are so beautiful, but then, yeah...who wants to be able to drive a bus between the watch case and the strap? Great review. You almost had me sold when you were talking about maybe you should just focus on the watch design itself and not worry about the gap there. Have you considered going into sales? 😏
Great review xavier and a VERY useful and timely one for me as I was toying with buying a club dunkel; not anymore though as I can't be dealing with the gaps showing when on a two piece. Shame as a lovely dial - but not for me
@@theknightswatch I have a Club 703 and love the lugs. I don't get what the big deal is with the "gap". I think they are a design feature, not a problem.
Hi, since you have experienced both Nomos Club and Grand Seiko sbgx259/sbgx261, which one is the better everyday watch? Thanks for reviewing both of these great watches.
Hardik Parekh thanks for watching! If your looking purely at which is better value and will fit in more situations, it’s the grand seiko all the way. The bracelet option makes it more casual, the quartz movement is deadly accurate and you don’t have to worry about a power reserve running down. It’s definitely a go anywhere do anything piece. But if you prefer something mechanical albeit a little more fragile, the Nomos is a great option.
@@theknightswatch I personally do not like GS very much, the style is not really for me, but yes, I am completely bias as I love Nomos Always choose what you like more and don't get influenced by some idiots on the internet
In house means that it is currently produced internally rather than outsourced. A lot of watch brands are designing a movement that is based on another one. So, even if the Alpha movement is based and/or is a copy of the Peseux, it’s still manufactured in house, and not outsourced to another company.
@@luca-recallclothing9529 the definition of inhouse id open for discussion apparently since many brands use it creatively.. I am not going down the lane in a discussion with you. My opinion stands.
In-house should be a spectrum instead of yes or a no answer. Definitely Nomos is far from off the shelf eta since it manufacture it’s own alpha calibre inspired by Peseux 7001.

Haha appreciate it. Might not be cut out for sales 😉 it’s a great watch but the lugs are very marmite.
Simple. One of my favorite Nomos watches.
Great video my man 👏
I'm thinking about buying this piece so your review was really helpful. The same goes for the Stowa Partitio you did. =)
Sorry for the late reply, RUclips isn’t good at showing me comments. Did you end up with either?
Very good review!
Thank you 🙏🏻
Where can I buy the strap?
do the tangente please
Hello. What is the strap? Where can I buy it?
The only thing stop me from buying this watch is the lug. It’s a design flaw
May I ask what the pink watch is you wore while filming this? :)
It is one the the undone urbans
nice! do you think it would fit properly on a small 5.9 inches wtist? thanks!
I think the lugs may be a little long. I would measure the top of your wrist and compare it to the lug to lug length of the watch

Glad I could save you some money! It’s a great watch but man those lugs! Just move the holes closer to the case if anything.

Where do you get those silicone straps?
I would use a browser man. I can personally recommend Bing - experience after 2 month of use
I think it’s a great looking watch but not worth the cost
Ya definitely subjective. I think used prices are fairly good for what you get but overall there is other stuff out there.
Inhouse movement, yes and no. Calling it inhouse is a bit untrue since it is a modified Peseux 7001 movement.
