I ended up going from pro max to pro. While the battery and screen is great, my personal situation is more on the go and the less it gets in my way, the better. But definitely cant go wrong either way
I switched from the 13 Pro Max to the 14 Pro. I’m always carrying around a baby these days, so I greatly prefer the one hand comfort of the Pro. The Pro Max phones are amazing, but there’s no denying that they can get a little unwieldy in one hand at times, especially when reaching for the top of the display.
THIS was the video that helped me choose. No one EVER seems to hold them side by side like that and talk about their experience with both. I'm definitely going with the pro this time around. Jumping up from the XS MAX I bet the smaller size and camera/chip improvements are going to be amazing. I'm really happy they're putting the same features in both phones now and letting me choose the size. I did the same when I got the 12 pro. 6 months in, I swapped out the pro for the 12 pro max. This time I went straight for the 14 pro max, silver, 256 GBS. I love it!
Getting pro this year trying stay off my phone and be on social media less and bigger screen and longer battery life ain’t gonna help that lol but am glad apple included same hardware so we’re not forced to get the bigger phone for best specs. Great video thanks helped me decide on what to get.
I’ve had an XS Max and then a 12 Pro Max and now downsized to the 14 Pro. Feels so good in hand and battery is still better than my last phone and the camera is just top class. Just had to go on to wipe my 12 pro max and it felt stupid in hand!
I tested both and the 14 pro max feels more balanced in weight than the smaller 14 pro. But the biggest change here is that when you buy the bigger one its stands out more. The 14 pro size feels like you are buying an old design.

The Gold looks amazing, the colour that can give the space black a real challenge.. I think colours eventually look dated.. or yesteryear when another colour comes out. Really nice video, I wish I’ve watched this before I made my decision. Went from 12 Pro Max to 14 Pro for better handling and lighter phone. Really like the size but man oh man, I can’t live with the battery life. Looking at that battery percentage going down is giving me anxiety. I consider myself a heavy user. Zoom/Teams/Meet meetings, RUclips, emails, whatsapp, reviewing documents, web browsing, e-commerce apps for buying the next iPhone accessories that I don’t need, music, etc. 100% battery at 08.30am, already 62% at 12.27pm. I don’t even do gaming. I don’t always have access to wall socket. I have the magsafe battery pack but using it outdoor will degrade my iPhone’s battery faster because of the heat. Within 2 weeks, I sold the 14 Pro, switched to 14 Pro Max. Amazing battery life. 100% at 00.30am, still have 30% left at 11.00pm. I utilize reachability feature a lot so I can reach the top of the phone easier.

CJ. Great topic Man. Been on the fence for awhile. Up until now I been getting the Pro and not the Max. I love the bigger screen and better battery it offers but I like the portability of the 6.1” (fits better in my pocket).
So I got iPhone 14 Pro for one reason only, my hands are small as heck. I use my phone a lot one handed and I consider myself a heavy user of my phone which is why because I’m a heavy user I was very enticed in getting the Pro Max but I know functionally it would be uncomfortable for me too use because it was bigger and since my hands are small and combined that I have weak hand grip I went with the Pro instead. Luckily the difference between is pretty small and the Pro does just as well for my use
Good point. Actually, I use glasses and I was hesitating about which one I had to choose. Long term the battery life would be longer than the Pro and is pretty cool to have a bigger display when you’re watching videos. Thanks for the comparison.

I have an iPhone 14 Pro. Used it for two weeks. Just ordered a Max. My previous phone had a 6.8" screen, just couldn't get used to the smaller screen. I feel the phone is less useful because of it.
I don't like that on the max the OS is just larger what I mean is apple didn't optimize the extra screen real estate kinda like on an old android tablet

@@imhaydenmelrose I liked the 14 Pro, but my company switched providers and we all got the 13, so I sold the 14 pro while I could get the most money for it. Between the newer models (11 and up), there aren’t a whole lot of differences to me (except the 12 introduced 5G). I do prefer the smaller phone for what I do with it.
Going to get the 14 pro instead of the pro max. I'm currently using the LG wing, and it has a massive screen (6.8 inches), which makes it difficult for me to handle it😅. I think the 14 pro would be a perfect fit for my palm. Anyways, great content man👌👌

Had the 12 Pro Max switched to the 14 Pro. I personally got tired of that big phone in my pocket, most cars have CarPlay, just tired of that mini tablet in my pocket.

I’m upgrading from the 13 ProMax 256 GB to the regular 14 Pro 512 GB. The 13 ProMax is a beast but I need to go back to a smaller phone and need more space for videography.
Is the 14PM really that uncomfortable in the pocket? I always prefer the regular pro models and decided to give it a try with the max this time around but I'm afraid the comfort and convenience might be compromised especially I always go outside
I use iPads when I want to watch videos, so I have chosen the 14 pro over the max, for size and weight gain. The battery seems OK to me, but of course I could do with a larger one within the same form factor.
Lol I feel like I’m the only one who loves the size of the pro max since I’m upgrading from a 7 plus! Literally almost the exact same size haha The bigger the screen, the better for me! I will say though that I use a ring on the back of my phone to be able to reach everywhere on the screen lol
If it helps to imagine the size of IPhone 14 Pro Max, it is the same size as Huawei P30 Pro. I have now Huawei and I was checking 14promax in a store today.
Before even getting far into the video, I recognize the tape on the box and the battery warning label, being a former employee of the company you bought it from. Lol
I got mine 14 Pro Max for 2 weeks(first time in 12 years when I pre-ordered😂) and my last dark iPhone was iPhone 5…. I had many since( still miss my rose gold 6s🥺) but I really liked deep purple and I must admit it looks flawless. I had 11 Pro Max& 13 Pro Max in gold and especially 13 Pro Max looked more like a very light gold(more like silver). I must admit that I use pop sockets( not just because of watching movies), mostly because my hands aren’t that big but with pop sockets I don’t have any trouble with access.
You should be be able to do it using a USB-C to Lightning cable...the iPhone will ask you in the setup process if you want to move data from another phone. I'll write this on my list of content to make.

Nice Video !!! Im making a lotta spontanious photos and videos with one hand, I take it in my pocket so I went with the pro. The fact that I also use Cases and Apple Wallet is also a point the pro is better than the max for me. I had the 13 pro max with wallet and case and it made me feel like Im carrying around an ipad or laptop :)
When I ordered it from a service provider, it was suppose to be delivered in October and ordered it on the 16th. Surprising I got it on the 21st. I did took a gamble on the pro max model since my last iPhone was the 8 plus.

These past two days I came home and it’s under 80% (since I can’t use my phone at work much) You just have to get use to the bigger screen just like the 8+. Once you get use to it and the Face ID you should be alright. I would get either or but make sure you don’t get the 128GB model. I got the 256GB.
My concern is reachability on the Max…I know one handed use is probably out, but how easy or hard is it to reach areas on the screen. Also is it too big for my purse, my car mount…

I loved the size, design, and weight of the phone. She told me she can’t even download any apps anymore as they aren’t compatible with her maximum iOS level. This is upsetting they will basically just force us into new phones. Do you know if I could jailbreak that phone and get new life out of it? I told her if she sold it to let me know immediately because I wanted to buy it. That phone felt like it was a missing piece of my body. Like it was designed and made for me personally by apple. I’m hoping I can squeeze some life out of it. I’ve rooted a thousand android phones but have never messed with apple software

Idk the Max has a better battery but I’ve drop it twice already. Vs the regular PRO fits perfectly in any pocket and you always have a good grip.

I have an iPhone 14 Pro. Used it for two weeks. Just ordered a Max. My previous phone had a 6.8" screen, just couldn't get used to the smaller screen. I feel the phone is less useful because of it.

@@imhaydenmelrose I liked the 14 Pro, but my company switched providers and we all got the 13, so I sold the 14 pro while I could get the most money for it. Between the newer models (11 and up), there aren’t a whole lot of differences to me (except the 12 introduced 5G). I do prefer the smaller phone for what I do with it.
Going to get the 14 pro instead of the pro max. I'm currently using the LG wing, and it has a massive screen (6.8 inches), which makes it difficult for me to handle it😅. I think the 14 pro would be a perfect fit for my palm. Anyways, great content man👌👌

Grab and drag one icon over on top of another and it should create a folder that you can name and add other icons to.

I use iPads when I want to watch videos, so I have chosen the 14 pro over the max, for size and weight gain. The battery seems OK to me, but of course I could do with a larger one within the same form factor.

I got mine 14 Pro Max for 2 weeks(first time in 12 years when I pre-ordered😂)
and my last dark iPhone was iPhone 5…. I had many since( still miss my rose gold 6s🥺) but I really liked deep purple and I must admit it looks flawless. I had 11 Pro Max& 13 Pro Max in gold and especially 13 Pro Max looked more like a very light gold(more like silver).
I must admit that I use pop sockets( not just because of watching movies), mostly because my hands aren’t that big but with pop sockets I don’t have any trouble with access.

PPI is important , on Samsung phones the larger the screen the higher the ppi so on the iPhone the smaller iPhone will have the sharper screen
The max has a better battery life and it’s a bigger screen for my horrible eyes
once magsafe tech can transfer data or they figure out an alternative a phone with no ports will be very interesting.

You should be be able to do it using a USB-C to Lightning cable...the iPhone will ask you in the setup process if you want to move data from another phone. I'll write this on my list of content to make.
Thank you for making this video. couldnt find one like this to reassure, i had the 11 and then i got the 13 pro max, it was a big change but it was amazing, now that i sold my 13, im using the 11 again while my 14 pro max ships. i ordered the pro since i heard you cant use the island with one hand, but after countless videos and reading. definitely getting the pro max now since the battery is better and i liked how the 13 pro max felt! plus at work i use my phone mostly all day, guessing the pro max will help with that haha

Nice Video !!! Im making a lotta spontanious photos and videos with one hand, I take it in my pocket so I went with the pro. The fact that I also use Cases and Apple Wallet is also a point the pro is better than the max for me. I had the 13 pro max with wallet and case and it made me feel like Im carrying around an ipad or laptop :)
When I ordered it from a service provider, it was suppose to be delivered in October and ordered it on the 16th. Surprising I got it on the 21st. I did took a gamble on the pro max model since my last iPhone was the 8 plus.
I’m switching from 8+ too and I can’t decide between pro and pro max.. pro too small, max too big. Are you happy with your decision?
@@nejagorkic3344 so far I am happy with my decision. The battery life is great. These past two days I came home and it’s under 80% (since I can’t use my phone at work much) You just have to get use to the bigger screen just like the 8+. Once you get use to it and the Face ID you should be alright. I would get either or but make sure you don’t get the 128GB model. I got the 256GB.

Last night one of my employees came into work with an old iPhone 8. And I absolutely loved it. I loved the size, design, and weight of the phone. She told me she can’t even download any apps anymore as they aren’t compatible with her maximum iOS level. This is upsetting they will basically just force us into new phones.
Do you know if I could jailbreak that phone and get new life out of it? I told her if she sold it to let me know immediately because I wanted to buy it.
That phone felt like it was a missing piece of my body. Like it was designed and made for me personally by apple.
