Amazing stories! I believe 🛸 👽 In 2017 I was returning from Alpine, Texas at around 3:00 am. I had passed Marfa. Yes, the Marfa lights mystery area. But I already passed it for about 15 miles when I saw a dog sitting in the middle of the road with its head completely twisted towards its right shoulder. I was coming from its left side. The head and neck were so much twisted that I couldn't see the head. It was incredible to see such a thing. I believe the thing was just sitting there letting me know that they exist. Amazing and wish to see it again.
It never moved and have always wondered what the head may have looked like. I believe maybe it was a demon because Christians friends that I have said that it was a demon and to just leave them alone. What I understood from that experience is that it was there to say "We Exist". I tell you Ma'am it was an incredible experience and the more you think about it the more incredible becomes to believe. I am retired from the New Mexico State Police and patrolled north western New Mexico in Cuba, New Mexico and Farmington. There is forest and lots of hunting goes there. But in my 23 years I never encountered anything such as this experience. Never, I saw a lot of dead bodies from accidents, people running over elk or dear is very common, or killings between people but nothing like this.
@TheInBetweenTales Do you know how when you make figurines with clay. You push it with your finger and smears? That is how it looked. As if the neck was smeared like clay to the right shoulder so much that I could not see its head. I believe it had a head and wonder what it looked like.
We had a weird as hell “deer bunny” incident that almost turned into a missing 411 incident that was totally paranormal. We clearly have a very limited understanding of the world around us.
Carol Ann I am so pleased you are getting close to doing this full time, you & Josh from What Lurks have a real gift for story telling. I honestly think that you both run rings around Mr Ballin nothing against his work but I just prefer your stories & story telling more. I can't believe that both channels haven't got so many more followers. Good Luck & God Bless looking forward to more wonderful stories.🇦🇺🐨🙏🏻❤👽👻☠️🎃
An A. Frame has no sealing, to speak of. But,you are a good story teller.like Mr ballen, talks with your hands. I have a deer spooky story, that happened to me, one evening,on the Eve of a humungus snow storm.about one mile north of levis Wisconsin. Just at dusk,I was standing in the edge of a corn feild, back about 2 rows in,when here comes this big ( what I took for a deer)I drew back an let fly with my arrow,SMACK!!!!IT HIT THE THING,IT Jumps up on its back legs and starts screeming, then runs into the thick brush up a steep hill ,screeming, blood curddeling, screems, that to this day freeks me out,I never, went up the hill to look that night or the next day because of the blizzard.but we hunted there later but never found bones.
I can relate to seeing something that should freak a person out, yet staying calm. About 10 years ago, maybe a bit more, I was sitting in my lounge room. I suddenly noticed a guy, about six feet tall, leaning against the door frame between the lounge and hall. I didn't recognise him, so i was about to ask who he was and what he was doing in my house? Suddenly, I realised I could see through him and he was fading. Once he completely disappeared, all I could thing was how calm I felt and wonder why I wasn't shaken by the event.
Back during the first COVID lockdown in the UK I had to go to a place called Castle Douglas in Dumfries. It was work related and around 7am. As I was driving down the empty main street I saw something large, looming up ahead of me. It was a stag, antlers and all and very majestic, just stood there in the middle of the street minding his own business. It was so unexpected that it freaked me out a bit but if he'd stood up on two legs I have been off, quick smart. Deer are not uncommon in these parts, I almost ran one over a couple of weeks ago. It just stood there, giving me a dirty look. It was 6am and very misty, out in the middle of nowhere. Ive been listening to too many not deer stories so it creeped me out somewhat. Theres something about the idea of not deer that is unsettling in a way that other cryptid stories just have no effect on me. Maybe because I see so many regular deer, you never know if these dubious deer types are thinking, "Scotland? Yeah no one will notice us there." We have a few cryptid legends in the UK but nothing compared to the USA. We do have the Fae in the other hand and you dont want to go messing with them!
I have heard that the Fae are not to be messed with! But I'm with you on the deer. I have plenty where I am in the US as well. And every time I see one, I look a little closer to make sure it's just a regular deer. 😊💜
I think I’ve encountered the “not deer” twice, but I’m hoping that they were regular deer. Both times occurred at night around 3am. I’ve been so close that I can touch them. I’m 5’6” and these deer were huge. There were doe’s and buck’s in the first occurrence. The second time years later it was just a buck. I was scared both times, but had an odd feeling that they were just curious about me and why I was outside that late at night. Both times I was allowed to pass. They looked normal, but everything I knew about deer seemed off… they weren’t scared or skiddish. They were calm, curious and analytical.
@@TheInBetweenTalesThey come around my house at night, if at all, because of nearby traffic. Or, they used to. About three years ago, they left my corner of the county, and went to the opposite corner. Something spooked them!
The 3rd story, i would have invited the deer in, it wasnt menacing, it wasnt trying to kill him, its entirely possible that avoiding that deer was an exponential mistake.
There's an amazing story of "not deer" in the Skinwalker Ranch area- when the Shermans still owned it in the 90s- in a book called, Skinwalker, Guardian of the Portal by Gary & Wendy Swanson. The story in question in the book is: Journey Into "Life & Death" it's crazy! 😮
I have not! I'm not sure I will ever do Skinwalker Ranch, just because there is SO much to cover, but I had not heard of a not deer encounter. I'll have to find that, for sure! Thanks, Brooke! 😊💜
@TheInBetweenTales sure! The book doesn't cover the specific ranch. Just places around it. Shoot me your email and I'll try to transcribe that story for you. It's wild.
Hello to all of you here on the in-between tales hope All of you are doing well and staying cool in this heat wave here in California we have been hit hard by it be safe
The multiple trespassing signs remind me of Secondhand Lions, minus jolly ol' St Nick. My sister had a OLD BOAT of car back in the day, but it was the smoothest ride ever! It felt like you were gliding down the road or across a placid lake. 😉I don't know what to make of Not Deer, but hope I never meet one!
Kids are resilient. I remember when my daughter was about six, she would sleep in the living room in her Barbi tent. She said in those occasions she would hear a little girl crying and walking around the tent and occasionally see her! I have a 1900’s picture hanging in my room with a mother and little girl both dressed in white by a lake walking hand in hand. They are both walking towards you; the mother’s features are hidden under a parasol. The little girl is blonde with curls in here hair, but here facial features are blurred. Both in my room one day out of the blue, she looks at the picture and says, “Stupid little girl!” I asked what was that about, so she tells me the stories. I asked her what did she do when she came around, she said she would just tell the little girl to SHUT UP! She was about 23 when she confessed this to me and, also that the picture hung there so long that she never noticed the picture anymore until that day.
A friend of mine was coming home from work quite late at night, and as she was driving down her parents' long driveway in a wooded area, a deer ran right in front of her car's headlights. She swears that the deer had a human face. It had happened a couple of years before, but she was still freaked out about the incident. She said there was no mistaking what she saw.😢

The head and neck were so much twisted that I couldn't see the head. It was incredible to see such a thing. I believe the thing was just sitting there letting me know that they exist. Amazing and wish to see it again.
Wow! Do you think it was an actual dogman? Or a manifestation of something else? What happened when you drove past it??
So did it look like it didn't have a head?
@TheInBetweenTales Do you know how when you make figurines with clay. You push it with your finger and smears? That is how it looked. As if the neck was smeared like clay to the right shoulder so much that I could not see its head. I believe it had a head and wonder what it looked like.
Omg! I missed those big blue eyes 😍
Lol! Thanks, Paul. Good to see you're still out there. 😊💜
Thank you so much, Watcher!! Im humbled. 🙏 We should have another collab with Josh coming out around the end of September! 😊💜
Never heard of Not Deer. Great story telling Carol Ann. Im new to your channel. I think your great!
Thanks, Arianna! 😊💜
An A. Frame has no sealing, to speak of. But,you are a good story teller.like Mr ballen, talks with your hands. I have a deer spooky story, that happened to me, one evening,on the Eve of a humungus snow storm.about one mile north of levis Wisconsin. Just at dusk,I was standing in the edge of a corn feild, back about 2 rows in,when here comes this big ( what I took for a deer)I drew back an let fly with my arrow,SMACK!!!!IT HIT THE THING,IT Jumps up on its back legs and starts screeming, then runs into the thick brush up a steep hill ,screeming, blood curddeling, screems, that to this day freeks me out,I never, went up the hill to look that night or the next day because of the blizzard.but we hunted there later but never found bones.
not deer my new favorite!

Hey girl 👋🏻🥰🙏🏼
Thanks, M.P.W.! 😊💜
Hey, Keith! 💜💜💜
I was Instantly intrigued by that "not deer" title 😅
Yay I really enjoy these. 💜💀👻
Thanks, Lavish! 😊💜
Wow! I would NOT have been that calm!
4:22 Not Deer are Santa’s reindeer who are laid off work until next Christmas.
Yeah no one will notice us there."
We have a few cryptid legends in the UK but nothing compared to the USA. We do have the Fae in the other hand and you dont want to go messing with them!
I have heard that the Fae are not to be messed with! But I'm with you on the deer. I have plenty where I am in the US as well. And every time I see one, I look a little closer to make sure it's just a regular deer. 😊💜
You should make Audio book(s) for us fans.. Love these stories. 😊
Thanks, Evy! We can barely get one video out per week right now, but maybe books in the future! 😊💜
Great stories❤️❤️
Thanks, LoJo! 😊💜
I love your stories
Thanks, Sonya! 😊💜
My favorite website!
Thanks, Todd!
Wow! That's interesting. Pretty rare for the regular ones to be out and about at that hour. But it happens. Weird they weren't skiddish, though. 🤔💜
Google Wendigo. That "deer" wants to eat you bro.
Ty❤❤
There's an amazing story of "not deer" in the Skinwalker Ranch area- when the Shermans still owned it in the 90s- in a book called, Skinwalker, Guardian of the Portal by Gary & Wendy Swanson. The story in question in the book is: Journey Into "Life & Death" it's crazy! 😮
My apologies if I'm late and you have already covered it! 😂
It's wild.
Inbetweentales@gmail.com. Thank you!!
Hello to all of you here on the in-between tales hope All of you are doing well and staying cool in this heat wave here in California we have been hit hard by it be safe
You as well! Thanks, Edwin! 😊💜
17:53 .. that picture 😶🌫️
Mr InBetween is a master at AI!! 😊💜
❤ the stories, obviously lol, would absolutely love more dogman stories tho 🐺
Duly noted! Thanks, Timbo. 😊💜
Wow! I wonder why she would only see her when she was in the tent? 🤔💜
I want a cup like yours but I'm too broke lately to get one. I think the colors are great.
Thank you! They'll still be there when you're ready. And if not, I appreciate the sentiment. 💜
That's terrifying! I've heard stories like that before. I can't even wrap my head around it!! 😱💜
Good thing I didn't listen to this at night.
Real scary interesting encounters 😮 notdeer is more creepy assed than dogman 😮 sure as don't want to encounter it thanks carol Anne ❤
Agreed! Thanks, Celeste! 😊💜
Santa is an Anagram for Satan... (Just saying) So him holding that sign might make more sense than one might think. Hahaha
It also means saint, so your point is negated.
Bambie has been working out 😂
Right?!? 🤣💜
HIT THE LIKE 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 plz & thank you 🙏🏻😊
I feel like I'm going to be asked to sing The Wheels on the Bus watching this.
I used to have an '83 olds boat. 98 Regency Brougham
