Thank you, thank you, thank you for making this video! It was just what I was looking for, especially about the time management and steps to take. You're right about starting small and easy to not get overwhelmed. Great advice!
How did you compete with all the other people selling templates at the time? And how did you find your first customers? I feel like many will do the exact same steps as you, but not make any sales
Aaah, those are great questions! ☺️ I started in 2022 when there were thousands less sellers than today, so I think that definitely played a part, which is why I always recommend starting as soon as you can. I started selling instagram templates and I guess I chose the right product to sell at the time and my designs stood out? I completely agree with you that not everyone will have the same experience, which is why finding the right product to sell and having a unique selling point (whether it’s your design, niche, or something else) are so important for standing out in such a competitive market like Etsy 😊
Thank you so much! ☺️ Fortunately, none of the companies I’ve worked for had rules against doing side hustles, so I didn’t have any issues with them knowing. I just made sure my side hustles didn’t affect the quality of my work ☺️
That’s amazing! I’ve always wanted to learn a new language like German or French, and maybe one day, once I get some more free time, I’ll finally give it a shot. 😅 Wishing you all the best with your business. I’m sure you’ll do great! ☺️
@@roamwithyale Thank you very much! I also enjoy language learning and if you have more free time, we can learn together. Wishing you too all the best with your business. 🤗
