As a licensed bartender, it surprises me that they went after Tana before taking the bartender who knowingly served a minor. Obviously, if the bartender sees the girl she just served getting arrested, she's going to hide? That's a huge fine for the bartender and the license holders for the event. The way this situation was handled just doesn't make sense.

I found this website about a lawyer in CA for people who've been arrested at Coachella (?) but it had some interesting information about California law. Here's the passage:
"Finally, if you are a minor, all deals are off. Under Business and Professions code 25662, it is a misdemeanor for a minor to be under the influence. There is no possibility of jail and it is only punishable by a fine or community service. The bigger deal with a conviction here however is that it leads to a mandatory one-year suspension of a minor's California driver's license (Vehicle Code 13202.5). For most teenagers, that is a far worse fate. And a conviction will become part of a person’s permanent criminal record, which is why it is critical to fight this charge and get it reduced to an "open container" infraction if you can. A good lawyer can help you with that."
If it's a misdemeanor, wouldn't they have just given her a citation/summons to appear in court? You don't get "arrested" or even put in handcuffs if you're given a citation. I'm no law enforcement expert, but it seriously doesn't make any sense why they'd go through the trouble of handcuffing her and even taking her mugshot.
Her mugshot and arrest should be public record. She's an adult. There's no record of anything anywhere. Not on any database, no videos, no snaps, no photos, nothing but some tweets from her friends.
How come the bartenders in the VIP section weren't arrested instead? Or even questioned? Tapes? Anything? Surely if the cops were watching her so attentively they would have noticed the girl who had handed her the drink.
Here's probably what really happened. Tana was drunk, acting crazy, the cops noticed and took her in, fined her and then let her go. All of this shit about flashing cameras and being sober and tightening her handcuffs even though they were hurting her? Bullshit.

3) They gave you charges for underage possesion ( i understnd that one ) AND underage drinking which they shouldn't have charged you of because they had no evidence that you had drunk the drink or consumed alcohol beforehand)
4) Didn't try to look for the bartender who served you the drink who would have faced more charged than you.... and you described her to the police so you clearly gave a descriptio so they could make sure you were not being pressed with charges that someone else should also be recieving.
