You know CycleCruza, you really have me convinced on this CBR1000rr. I've always liked them from the start and the biggest thing was having that mid-range power + comfort. Ride safe bro!
+CycleCruza Sorry, but this comment is total shit. "Never finance" is not feasible, poor personal financial advice, and poor business advice. Stick to motovlogging, leave business to the adults.
Kawi isn't built in, on top of triple tree, add-on mod. The newer ones come with a SD but it's still on top of the triple tree. When I say built-in, I mean out of sight and incorporated underneath the fairings.
After watching hundreds if not thousands of videos seems like I finally found the perfect one. I absolutely love everything you have done to it plus thank you for the lovely extensive review, I enjoyed every second of it. Much love.
I have the same bike, mine just hit 4000 miles and I bought it in mid 2013 as a leftover model and similarly got a sweet deal. I´ve ridden it on the track and it´s just a dream to ride. I have a 2008 GSXR600 as well and much prefer riding the 1000RR on the track due to the beautiful engine, smooth transmission and fantastic suspension. I almost want to say that the bike rides itself as it handles so well on the track! LOL!
I test rode a 2016 Triumph Speed Triple R and so far it's my favorite street bike. Really smooth, nice torque, great sound, super comfortable. Great suspension and tires.
My first bike was a 07Gixxer 7Nhalf (GSXR750), rode her until 120,000 miles. Then I got a leftover 2015 CBR1000rr , in late 2016. The most reliable bike thus far, starts everytime, no maintenance issues!!! Fanatics Bike
This is a great video! Enjoyed every second of it. Much more informative and well put together than expected. You've earned yourself a new subscriber. Keep up the good work!
Nice review! I especially appreciated the beginning of the video where you going to details about why you did not pick other potential candidates. I like your reviews they are professional they are funny and they are cool. Thank you mr. Cyclecruza badass.
I put around 12,000 miles on my 2013 cbr1k repsol ,, no problems at all , only parts changed were yoshimura r77 slip on , motul 300v oil changes, ebc brake pads, and bridgestone s20 tires . Lots of ppl underrate these bikes but I've raced a few r1, gsxr 1k, bmw s1, rsv4 and I beat all. It's all about the Rider. I weigh 150lb with gear on that might be another ++++
He doesn't go to the track so the cbr1000rr is an obvious choice. He owned a lexus car, and was going to get a ninja 250 but ended up being an issue. I don't think he's a honda fan boy. It's just the bike that suits his needs more.
This video single handedly got me to subscribe to your channel, helped me decide my next purchase will be a fireblade and has set the bar from here on out for any motorcycle review I'll watch in the future. awesome job, keep up the GREAT work!
Really appreciate the info you provided fam. I was stuck on which liter bike I want to go with coming from a 750 gsxr. But I think you sold me on the Honda cbr 1000 rr. However I am planning on the 2016 Repsol version. I am in love with that design.
Great review - you articulated alot of good points that have definitely helped me in making any future 1-liter bike purchase decisions - Thanks for a great review! Nice mods, BTW!!!
Great review, made me laugh, especially the comment about the built-in blinkers! I also learned about the difference between the 2012 & later ergo's -Vs- the 2014-15 bikes. Ive been looking hard at a clean 2014 1000rr, going to rethink that idea & look for a 2013-12 bike now, Thank you!
You sound exactly like Mitch Hedberg the stand up comic. Great review, amusing and spot on. I was torn between Tuono and Honda. Honda won! Nothing beats reliability. BUT, Tuono sounds out of this world!
You make quite a few very good points that one may have mist when thinking of buying one of these machines... I’ve had quite a few of these bike what you notice is that Honda build them well, there is thought that goes into them and for me they seem to make you a better or faster rider... the Repsol with a yosh will do nicely sir... Thanks for a great review.
Travis M. The reason I asked CC to do a review is because he can go to the nearest dealer a do a test ride and give his take on it. I would do it but the Indian is not available in the country I am in. I will have to purchase it when I return to the states. CC did a test ride on the Harley breakout and I would like to see a review on the Indian.
You can hate honda ,the look of the brand, the speed and other things but honda is maybe the most trust bike brand that exist and the mechanic of the bikes is far way better then the others(generally) and they are much more confortable and economic. If they improve the design and speed of the future bikes ,honda will be the best brand without any problems. (In MotoGp the speed is crucial so honda made a bike that is a monster just like the yamaha.Just to say that if they want they made it!)
Nice review ...... I was thinking change my cbr650f for kawasaki 10r but is not good for middle range and consume a lot fuel. and you right cbr 1000rr is a complete bike for mid range and big response .....
I’m picking up one of these used in a few months.. was going to get a 600cc but I figured I might as well go all in so I don’t have to upgrade for a few years
My coworker has the same model. I really like the styling as well as the midrange power it has. I have a ZX10 and mid range just doesn't exists on my bike lol. Im really thinking about trading mine and getting the cbr
First time commenting on your video - although I've seen a few of yours - nicely done!!! Love the Yellow/Black combo. If you don't mind how much you spend on the aftermarket (Yellow/Black) fairings, and the source where you got it from.... Thanks!
Cyclecruza awsome sh*t man. Your the reason why i walk away for my first litre bike (bmw) knowing the reliability and dealer support and the less cost of honda is a lot better option for me. Im an average person with minimum wage so. Your video help me a lot and save me lots of $$$ thank you for taking the time making this awsome video and ride safe man 😏😁✌👌👍😁🏍
Love ur vlogs man, I have the 15 blade, and i lurrrve it, i had a panigale before that, and the exhaust literally fell off! All the best Cruza, Nick from the UK...
dwdwdwdw Nice! I hear a lot of people complain about Ducati's poor reliability, reason I will never buy one. Take care and best of luck on the streets!
Bike has not used oil between oil changes ? I have one. I change my oil at 6,000 kms. If I go for a long ride (2 to 3,000 k's) at high revs it will use oil. But if you keep the revs down...
i cant wait to get a new bike, im currently building my credit since im young just getting started. I plan on getting either the yamaha r6 or the cbr 600 rr not sure what year but when the time comes ill be doing my research but im so excited. My bike is a 2006 zzr6 carbureted so i imagine its going to be so much different on a fuel injected bike and much more smooth
I know this is an old post, and don't want to insult anybody, but all of those bikes have steering dampers, and the R1's is electronic, speed sensitive. There isn't a supersport now that DOESN't come with one.
Mine 07 ninja zx10r does have engine vibrations between 2k-3.5k rpm something like that. It might be tiny more after i installed frame slider. Because my left side suppose comes with a spacer at front engine mount. Now im just tight it as much as possible and the reserve coolant container is on the outside of that left side so it hleps pushing the bolt in. Man ,im going to the dealership to conpare their other zx10r same model year to see if both have the same vibration if it does i can relax stop worrying.
Love Hondas, owned several, bikes built with pride. Headlights, is it just me, but hate the looks of one light out, any bike like that, what were they thinking.
You make me got one i just prefer 2008 body kits i remember when it come 😏 was then best looking bike even now 2020 i think is great bike and cheap to get one for the quality and power 🔋
C squared what's good man. Got the new blk blade. Wondering why when I open it up on the highway does it sound like a rattling under tank. Or what could that be. Rpms to low when I juice it maybe?
I will be getting a second bike in addition to my '12 Fireblade. Considering either RSV4 or MV Agusta F4. CycleCruza, you have not mentioned MV Agusta in you selection. I know it is rather an exotic bike, so the parts and maintenance may become an issue. But besides that, what is your opinion on it as far realibility, looks and performance? In my opinion it looks better than Ducati.
i want to buy a bike with in 15 days but i confused between Honda livo and Tvs victor 2016. My daily running from my house to working place is 80 km.Please tell me which one is better for me as a by all over. Honda livo vs. Tvs victor 2016 and another bike please tell me sir any suggestions
That's not what you would call 'built-in,' that's a set-top steering damper, meaning that ohlins steering damper can be added to any bike's triple tree. A built-in steering damper is actually built within the bike, underneath and out of sight like honda's HESD.
I think all bikes have clutchless upshifts, even off road bikes. The only downside to the R1 is the rear, i agree with you it is off. Friend of mine selling his CBR1000 and now riding R1. He said he prefers the CBR, but the cost difference is too much. (dont ask, that is what he said). R1 sounds amazing though
I cant stand the look of the thing. What a departure. All the signature of the R1 is lost. Porsche is a good example of how to keep your stuff going forward while keeping your signature. But each to his own, I know you like the new R1.
Um..... you put it in your right hand.... And then you pull in the clutch..... And then you step on the rear brake.... Not exactly very complicated.... Just takes a tiny bit of common sense to understand.
I'm sorry CC but I4 riders talking about low end and midrange power is like midgets arguing about which one is the tallest. If you want a liter bike with grunt off the line you either need the RC8R, the Panigale, or the EBR. The twins are making more torque just above tickover than any of the I4s make anywhere below like 9K RPM.
Twins produce more buzz vibrations which can be irritating on long rides, also I'm not a fan of the sound of the twins. For me, sound is nearly as important as power. However, we all have our own preferences.
Personally, I prefer non-abs because the brakes are actually stronger. I had abs on my cbr250r and didn't care for it. It's a great safety feature but if you are not going to ride in the rain then it's not really necessary. You will just have to develop proper braking skills.

thanks a lot CycleCruza keep up the vids man
+CycleCruza Sorry, but this comment is total shit. "Never finance" is not feasible, poor personal financial advice, and poor business advice. Stick to motovlogging, leave business to the adults.
Twysted Syntax lol I'm grateful for sheeple debt slaves, they help keep other debt-slaves working. Peace!
CORRECTION: THE YAMAHA R1 DOES COME WITH A BUILT-N STEERING DAMPER.
Kawi isn't built in, on top of triple tree, add-on mod. The newer ones come with a SD but it's still on top of the triple tree. When I say built-in, I mean out of sight and incorporated underneath the fairings.
was the seating position and ergonomics the same as the 600rr?
Very convincing argument you have for the CBR Cruza. What a great looking bike in yellow too. Honda should take a look at this.
After watching hundreds if not thousands of videos seems like I finally found the perfect one. I absolutely love everything you have done to it plus thank you for the lovely extensive review, I enjoyed every second of it. Much love.

Never heard an in-line 4 that I ever liked except yours and the R1.
I test rode a 2016 Triumph Speed Triple R and so far it's my favorite street bike. Really smooth, nice torque, great sound, super comfortable. Great suspension and tires.

Good video. You went through all the options and gave a legitimate reason why you didn't choose a particular bike.
This is a great video! Enjoyed every second of it. Much more informative and well put together than expected. You've earned yourself a new subscriber. Keep up the good work!

Man, you have a vid for everything. I was just looking at one of these yesterday. Sick sick sick. Thanks for sharing man.
Nice review! I especially appreciated the beginning of the video where you going to details about why you did not pick other potential candidates. I like your reviews they are professional they are funny and they are cool. Thank you mr. Cyclecruza badass.
Thanks!
Touché sir, you just earned a subscriber. By the way just picked up my 2014 CBR1000rr, so I understand exactly why you bought it.
Thanks! Great to hear you will be getting a blade as well, I'm sure you'll love it as much as I do. Best of luck!
I put around 12,000 miles on my 2013 cbr1k repsol ,, no problems at all , only parts changed were yoshimura r77 slip on , motul 300v oil changes, ebc brake pads, and bridgestone s20 tires . Cool! Thanks for sharing your insight. Good to hear from someone that has raced most of the bikes.
Don't ever change your intro man.
It sounds sick.
REAL REASON - You like honda and wanted something with 2 R's in the name.
Or maybe he is an under cover Pirate, RR!
He doesn't go to the track so the cbr1000rr is an obvious choice. He owned a lexus car, and was going to get a ninja 250 but ended up being an issue. I don't think he's a honda fan boy. It's just the bike that suits his needs more.

love your paint job!!! and thanks for the input I'm sold on getting the cbr1000rr!
Nice bike, exhaust sounds awesome. Not a big fan of yellow, but the mix of black and yellow on that bike looks real nice.
The handling on a honda CBR 1000 RR Fireblade is beautiful.
I agree! People get caught up with power but handling is really important, at least to me. This blade flicks as well as my cbr600rr.
You sound exactly like Mitch Hedberg the stand up comic. Great review, amusing and spot on. I was torn between Tuono and Honda. Honda won! Nothing beats reliability. BUT, Tuono sounds out of this world!
Great informative vid as always my Brother

Thanks CC. I forgot that it is still cold in the states. I live in Malaysia where it is 91f (33c) degrees today.
1AmericanInAsia We are having a bad winter, tons of snow almost every day.
***** Sucks bad, I wish I had a snowmobile!
Nice overview. I test rode the CBR 1000RR and the R1 when I went shopping but ended up buying the Ninja 1000.
Cool, it's all about personal preferences. It's cool that we have so many different kinds of bikes to choose from.
Excellent review, spot on information.
I Love it Beautiful review that's definitely my next bike.....
Wow that exhaust sounds dope, I like, I like. I wish I had one too man...
Enjoyed your video. Very thorough 👍🏾
cyclecruza the Knight Rider opening is the bomb!
My thoughts after putting 5,000 miles on my 2012 Fireblade: BEST BIKE EVAAAAAAAH! Muh-Hahahahaha!
Neat review bro!
I "test rode" a 2019 zx10. It took me like 7 tries to get it out the parking lot. Have to have the revs at 5 to get it to move in 1st .
I’m picking up one of these used in a few months.. was going to get a 600cc but I figured I might as well go all in so I don’t have to upgrade for a few years
Great review!!!!!
Thanks!
Ha, Safety feature for keeping you from having a real fucked up day.. Best line ever!
Cyclecruza awsome sh*t man. Your the reason why i walk away for my first litre bike (bmw) knowing the reliability and dealer support and the less cost of honda is a lot better option for me. Im an average person with minimum wage so. Your video help me a lot and save me lots of $$$ thank you for taking the time making this awsome video and ride safe man 😏😁✌👌👍😁🏍
Love your vids
Your vids are great fam!
Great review. You should do a motorcycle tire review sometime. What are you currently using?
Love ur vlogs man, I have the 15 blade, and i lurrrve it, i had a panigale before that, and the exhaust literally fell off! All the best Cruza, Nick from the UK...
dwdwdwdw Nice! I hear a lot of people complain about Ducati's poor reliability, reason I will never buy one. Take care and best of luck on the streets!
Great video! :)
CBR's got the least electronics compared to all other liter class bike...all u were looking was the steering damper :P
Best of luck to you!
For the R6 get a 2008 and up
looks fantastic good job
The Aprilia rsv4 is the best sounding bike.. the sound of the v4 engine is like a drug
haven't you made this video like 8 times now.
When you want a fireblade....you want a fireblade. Thats that.
You make me got one i just prefer 2008 body kits i remember when it come 😏 was then best looking bike even now 2020 i think is great bike and cheap to get one for the quality and power 🔋
hi nice vdo.i wanna buy hayabusa vs Cbr1000rr.can you shed Pros and cons of both bike. I have for 3 years r6s.Thanks
Ok I’m a believer and sold. That sounds great!
Thank you for that great review, awesome work bro!
I prefer Honda as well (Y)
Great review.
I think I like all your videos
i want to buy a bike with in 15 days but i confused between Honda livo and Tvs victor 2016. My daily running from my house to working place is 80 km.Please tell me which one is better for me as a by all over. Honda livo vs. Tvs victor 2016
and another bike please tell me sir any suggestions
I love the night rider intro song!!! :-D
Nicely done!!
Good review!
im looking for a 2012 zx6r but after this video maybe 2012 cbr1000 baby?? fyi i had a 08 r6 and loved it
on the zx10r there is a built in steering damper made by ohlins. you were looking right at it lol
That's not what you would call 'built-in,' that's a set-top steering damper, meaning that ohlins steering damper can be added to any bike's triple tree. A built-in steering damper is actually built within the bike, underneath and out of sight like honda's HESD.
question!,,,,,, is the insurence price from the 600rr to 1000rr about the same or is it a big ass jump ? thx
Man.... In a few years I might have to get one of these. I hope my Honda Curse doesn't carry over to bikes. I like the Tri-Color.
Absolutely great review, thanks. Wanna sell my Aprilla Dorsoduro and buy a CBR you sold me on them.
Great video man! Just wondering what website did you use for those fuel stats?
Did you get the panels sprayed? Expensive?
I think all bikes have clutchless upshifts, even off road bikes. The only downside to the R1 is the rear, i agree with you it is off. Friend of mine selling his CBR1000 and now riding R1. He said he prefers the CBR, but the cost difference is too much. (dont ask, that is what he said). R1 sounds amazing though
It's all personal preference. The new 2015 R1 looks like it will be a great bike but we'll see. I'm looking forward to the reviews on the new R1.
I cant stand the look of the thing. What a departure. All the signature of the R1 is lost. Porsche is a good example of how to keep your stuff going forward while keeping your signature. But each to his own, I know you like the new R1.
AHS Society I think it looks better than the old design, looks more updated.
Whats your trick to using your gopro, while driving without someone else to hold it when you try to stop??? Any videos on it??
Um..... you put it in your right hand....
Also, engine problems with the Duacti are pretty much a thing of the past...
I thought I was the only guy on the planet that didn’t like the sound of the R1.
I wanna get a yzf r3 as a first bike but it doesn't have Abs here in the states is it still a good choice
Personally, I prefer non-abs because the brakes are actually stronger. I had abs on my cbr250r and didn't care for it. It's a great safety feature but if you are not going to ride in the rain then it's not really necessary. You will just have to develop proper braking skills.
