- Killing Joke live à L'Hammersmith Palais diffusé en 1982 dans l'émission Megahertz présentée par Alain Maneval. Killing Joke at the Hammersmith Palais in 1982 only 6 songs were broadcasted by the french TV.
I saw them two times at Tenax club in Florence, in '81 and '82. The second one was really good but the first one.. I remember Youth with short dreadlocks in a reggae-punk mix, the riots under the stage, the blackened face from Jaz.. his bulging eyes were really scary, as well as the throbbing sounds he made hitting the synth. I was just 14 and for many years I went to concerts wondering if I would ever see a better show again..
Performance + sound + lights + crowd = AMAZING.
This IS the Best footage I have EVER seen of Killing Joke. Do you have the whole gig? Thanks

i remember watching this on french tv. it was a saturday afternoon tv program..... i still remember it!!! why you don't have Maneval comments? how did you get this? just taped it from tv atthe time.
cos you also have rare footage by UV Jets -i'm from their hometown- and the Pulsations Festival with Kas Porduct. never saw it before. they were at their best in 1983!!!!

You're absolutely right, I'd totally forgotten that. I can remember the horrifying amount of gob covering the lead singer's face, so much that it weighted down his fringe.
Really? I Remember Big Paul saying in 1980 about 'being spat at' but the times I saw them 80- 82 I didn't see any spitting...I saw UK Subs in 80 & that was just a disgusting gob fest - times I saw the Clash 1 person spat & got booted
