This Month on the Ranch: March

Enjoy a serene look at what life is like for the residents of the Arctic Reptile Ranch, located in the Sonoran desert near Phoenix, Arizona | March was particularly exciting because I received an order from Kapidolo Farms & began incorporating a much wider variety of foods to everyone’s diet. It is from this point that all hatchlings produced at the Ranch are started on small cut wheat grass, oat grass & barley grass as additives. March was full of new life as many eggs were laid and several clutches successfully hatched and many different species woke up from long naps. March is typically a wet month as well yet rain means free food if you’re a tortoise rancher!
