Every once in a while in wintertime, a man is spotted wearing shorts. So you have one of those? Cool😊 Great idea with visible patches. It's much more fun than invisable ones, that's for sure. The pink project, I wouldn't be surprised if you pulled it of, but it seems kind of difficult..Personally I find pink a difficult colour. Inspiring as always though. Thanks❤️☺️
In 'Ice Bound' by Jerri Nielsen, she tells of a co-worker who wears shorts all the time, even in Antarctica. So, tell your hubs that he is a PIKER - LOL!
@@mistikomakes A piker is someone who gambles with small amounts of money or who does things in a small way. Just kidding about the hubs, of course, because I had on three layers and a coat when I walked across the street to the supermarket an hour ago. It was 32 degrees but not -32, but you can tell what kind of a piker *I* am. Sadly, Dr. Nielsen lost her battle with further cancer. I highly recommend her book.
Ha ha about the piker! I'm the same as you. It's just freezing here 0C or +32F, and sunny, but I need wool socks, gloves, a scarf and a coat to go outside. Sorry to hear about Dr Nielsen. I bet the book is a good read though.
I loved the way you stitched those socks.💕looks great.
Thanks. I’m hoping one day they’ll be covered in mending
Beautiful..and practical ❤
Thanks again
Çalışmalarınızı çok seviyorum, ellerinize emeğinize yüreğinize sağlık ❤❤❤❤😊

Ha ha, so not only in Canada. To be fair it’s only just barely freezing in Vancouver right now 0C or +32F, but still not shorts weather!

Oh, I remember her story. I was so impressed and at the same time terrified for her. What is a piker?
