Dear Marion, it is precisely because you seem to be talking to each of us as an individual that makes your videos so special. Oh, and the brilliant skills and ideas you share with us😂
Hi Marion, congratulations on 50k subscribers! I believe your popularity is because you make us feel like part of your family with your warmth! We love you! You are our Super Star!
YOU are the star here, Marion! You give so much inspiration, joy and knowledge to us, it might seem to you that it's just talking but for me it's a lot more. Everyone out there watching without subscription, it is just a click away, doesn't cost you anything and Marion more than deserves it! What are you all waiting for?
Congratulations on 50k subscribers ❤❤❤ I think the reason why you already have so many subscribers is because you are such a lovely person ❤❤❤❤ and you make me happy and you have been my friend in a great big sorrow in 2024, so thank you for being you ❤❤❤❤
Congratulations Marion on 50,000 subscribers. Well done! I found you when I was researching Kawandi quilting ages ago, and I have been hooked ever since. Have devoured all your videos. Thanks to you, I have taken up embroidery and bought some Inktense blocks (though I am pretty hopeless with them so far). I think i will work on painting now too. Your phenology wheel is so inspiring. I subscribe to your channel because I find all you do so interesting, but mainly because I feel a connection to you. You feel like a kindred spirit. The folks in your comments feel like kindred spirits too. Its wonderful knowing there are all these nice people who like to do crafts and try new things. So what you are doing is more than just tutorials. It's creating a really nice community here in Marion's World. Thank you.
Thank you Ellie for a lovely message. I never realised that there were so many people around who liked to do the same things as I like doing. It's been a total revelation! I'm so pleased that you enjoy joining in with all the different things.
What a great video again Marion! Your Kantha inspired work is beautiful. And congratulations again on your very well deserved 50.000 subscribers . Please keep talking as if you are only talking to 1 person, that is what makes it so special. I always feel that I am visiting with you and you are talking to me, and it is lovely. I am looking forward to the next video, so I can visit again and have a cuppa.
This is so beautiful, it must have taken ages. I love our weekly chats, I visualise myself by your fire chatting away with a cup of tea, a slice of cake and an embroidery hoop. There are 50k other people who feel they want to be there with you too which is why your channel has grown so quickly. Stitching, chatting and passing the time with a very knowledgeable, very kind, interesting woman, what's not to love. It's because of you and your generous spirit that we all flock here every week ❤ xxx
Lovely Marion, Over the time that I have started watching you and subscribed I have made 15 A4 size embroideries, used up most of my scraps of material in several quilting and Kawandi type projects just because I know I can, made a beautiful patchwork cover for my bed headboard, started sewing on my machine to patch things and make things and sew myself some dresses, lined my woven cane baskets and lids with lovely linings so that there’s a surprise to be seen in each one, and last week I have started a rag Hooky rug for the hallway that runs the middle of my 100 year old Victorian home. These treasures all began when I started listening to you saying “just do it! I have never been so more inspired as I listen and learn from your videos. It’s possibly the same for many others. It’s wonderful that we can show our appreciation to you by commenting on here and subscribing. You are doing just wonderful. Thank you so much for spending your time with me x
Oh my goodness Bella! That's amazing. Well done and thank you so much for letting me know about it.. I feel so proud on your behalf that you've done all of it! You're a total ⭐☺️

You have such a happy, generous personality, and we all warm to you, and I, for one, thoroughly enjoy our conversations. So keep doing these lovely chatty videos, and sharing your creative gifts with us all, your friends. Thank you. 🦋🐝🌻🐦
Oh my goodness! How kind you are to think of us in your happy moment! 50,000 in less than two years! That’s amazing! Congratulations to you! I absolutely love your videos and all the wonderful things you teach. Thank you so very much. You are always a highlight of my day. Best wishes always, Suzie
I was describing your channel to someone and I referred to you as “my friend Marion”. Then I had to laugh because you’re a RUclips personality on the other side of world. Nevertheless, it does feel like you are a friend just chatting with me. So now, in my house, you are known as my friend Marion, and my husband doesn’t even roll his eyes anymore. Congratulations on having 50,000 friends! And, I love your embroidery - it’s so elegant, and all from simple stitches.
Hi Marion, I’ve been with you pretty much since the beginning and it’s been delightful watching you get more comfortable in front of the camera. Love your channel, love all you give us, thank you so much. P.S. this blackbird piece is fabulous. Cheers!

It looks beautiful, Marion! The way you do it makes me feel that I will be able to make one myself. Yesterday, I was at a quilters meeting, and there was also some embroidery instruction.I told the lady about you, being my teacher, and she said she would look at your channel. Keep on going, I'm a great fan of yours! ❤
I've been rushing home on a Sunday in time to put the kettle on to watch Marion's World for a while now. It's so lovely to see what you're up to. This embroidery as with everything else you do is taking a good idea further and beyond. I wouldn't be surprised if you sneak a little insect into that piece whilst we're not looking (ladybird, perhaps?) Congratulations on the 50,000. Thats something really special for a homely crafting channel.
I’m following, and creating, and incorporating your guidance onto a scroll for 2025! The 2024 book “WE” created has been such a joy to share with family and friends. Thank you again! Now Sunday is my favorite day! ❤

Marion, You speak to us all individually even as you speak to all of us at once. ❤ We each learn something unique. I really appreciate all the ideas because I'm trying to design a tree skirt for next Christmas, and need the whole year and all your expertise to help me get this done. ❤ The different stitches, the information about threads as well as the interesting techniques you use and model for us are invaluable information that helps each of us with our own creativity. Take care, Louise 🪡🧵
Talking as if to one person is why it works so well! Everyone thinks she's got your attention, and you have hers as a result. You give such value -- no arm waving, silly music, just honest great teaching! Thank you. Glad you're getting out, too. Good self care.

I'm not surprised at your success. I've followed you for well over a year and done catch ups too. I'm not a great sewer but I've learnt all sorts of tips. I niw know how to knit Fair Isle and tackle Kantha quilting - now on my list of projects. This morning I was crocheting scraps of sock wool into Granny squares and listening to you. You're great company - it is just like sitting with your friend and having a wonderful time together. Thank you, Marion, for so many things. Hugs!
I agree with all the loving comments others write, but I want to point out another benefit you provide your subscribers, and that is your contribution to our mental health. Every day since January 20th, I find myself joining the Pilgrim on his journey through the Slough of Despond, but your videos help me return to my stitching to lift my spirits. Thank you, as always!
Marion, This turned out so lovely. I love the ripples that you get with kantha stitching. Great idea for the veins of the leaves as well and your bird is perfect. Big congrats on 50k+! Beautiful piece of embroidery Marion. Watching you has inspired me to hand embroider some embellishments on a machine appliqued Paddington bear panel in a quilt I have just finished. I used your favourite stitch. -- whipped running stitch in red and white thread to replicate parcel string on his tag. Very pleased with the finish.👍♥️🇦🇺
For me, it’s so lovely to hear somebody from the north east because it does feels like I’m listening to a friend or relative. Thank YOU for being here ❤❤❤

I really enjoyed watching each section come to life as you worked. I appreciate your videos as I learn something from each one. You are very inspirational. Thank you.
congratulations on 50,000 subscribers. I'm 68 and I haven't embordered since I was a teen or early 20's. I need to get my old patterns out now that I'm retired. Thanks for this video. Great job!!

This looks wonderful Marion. I understand you feeling that you are talking to one person. I feel like you are just talking to me and showing me all the fantastic work that you do. I was so interested to see how you could change the colors (or at least the intensity) by changing the running stitch. You’re always such an inspiration.
Hello Marion, 50k subscribe it wonderful. You are the super star, a wonderful teacher with some brilliant skills. Thank you for your time and videos. Xxx

I love the texture that those tiny background stitches produce. Thank you for clarifying the meaning of kantha. It’s not interchangeable with running stitch as you say and we don’t want to lose the history, the true story of kantha. Congratulations on 50,000 - so well deserved. The more the merrier in Marion’s World!🪡 🧵 🎨 ❤️
Thank you Marion. Congratulations of reaching over 50,000 followers. Incredible but not surprising. You have given insperation to people all over the World. ❤
Beautiful stitching 😊 love the bag too. I repurpose all the time love it going to a vintage fair next Saturday where you buy second hand vintage clothes at a good price can't wait! Will use the material to make bags, cushions etc
Thank you for sharing your Kantha Embroidered bag with us. I agree with you it’s running stitch. I’ve never seen Kantha embroidery before just Kantha quilts. It’s so effective.i definately need to do some research
I was painting some boxes for a shadow box project, while listening to your video, then of course had to play it back again, twice more, so I could actually see all of what you were doing. I'm trying to learn about painting with acrylics. I'm not very good yet, so your reminder that everything improves with practice was timely for me today. Thank you for the lesson in Kantha Embroidery, and for sharing what you've learned in your research. I really liked your trick of using a pencil mark to remember where you want your blank spaces for the fabric to show. I have a bit of old bedsheet that I think I could use to try this. Congratulations on 50,000 subscribers, that's amazing! I hope you will keep talking to that one person on the other side of the camera, as I think that's what makes your videos so nice to listen to and watch.
I absolutely love your embroidery, you have certainly inspired me into revisiting my embroidery. Congratulations on reaching 50k subscribers, thoroughly deserved. ❤
This came at exactly the right time as I am now decorating the first part of my comfort coverlet. (K3N Cloth tales. I love kant ha,(as it is pronounced in India) and am stitching a traditional kantha bird inspired by you. I recently made a sampler book with 20 traditional kantha stitches so you are quite right running stitch is only one kantha stitch. A lot of the pretty border stitches are different combinations of running Stitch. Congratulations on you subcriber achievement. You really deserve it Marion. I have grown very fond of you just watching. You have the most loving, kind eyes I have seen ever. Arohanui from me in Aotearoa New Zealand ❤❤❤
Dear Marion, it is precisely because you seem to be talking to each of us as an individual that makes your videos so special. Oh, and the brilliant skills and ideas you share with us😂

I was so interested to see how you could change the colors (or at least the intensity) by changing the running stitch. You’re always such an inspiration.

Dear Marion, you are such an inspiration. Thank you so much for taking the time to everyone your amazing creations. Again, thank you.
Thank you for sharing your Kantha Embroidered bag with us. I agree with you it’s running stitch. I’ve never seen Kantha embroidery before just Kantha quilts. It’s so effective.i definately need to do some research
You’re welcome Kathy
Beautiful. And so many thanks for your inspirational stitching.
Congratulations, you amazing woman, you!
What marvellous news...Congratulations. Xxx

Your the creative bright light that shines her talents for us all and I am so grateful for you. Love and light joan
A lot of the pretty border stitches are different combinations of running
Stitch.
Congratulations on you subcriber achievement. You really deserve it Marion. I have grown very fond of you just watching. You have the most loving, kind eyes I have seen ever. Arohanui from me in Aotearoa New Zealand ❤❤❤
Thank you for such a lovely compliment. I'm behind on seeing what Kathryn is up to I'm afraid. I'll have to pop in and have a catch-up ☺️
