Joyce, you are such a magnificent arranger! Good job with this!! Sorry I have missing so long. We had a severe medical situation in our family and my hands were still in pretty bad shape. I've been struggling with tendonitis in my right hand as well, and haven't been able to practice for my covers (ergo, the Synthesia tutorials). Dying to perform again!!
@@JoyceLeong Joyce, Oh no! I had no idea that you also struggle with tendinitis. It is absolutely horrible!! I hope yours calms down very soon!! I just have to share this with you. I am taking a very good regimen of natural things now and it's helping me!! In the morning, I take Osteo Biflex with an extra 1,000 mg of MSM and 1,200 GDU bromelain (extended release). In the evening, I take another 1,000 mg MSM and another bromelain. The Osteo Biflex also has MSM in it, so it brings it to about 3 grams of MSM daily. I have been doing this now for over 3 weeks and yesterday I had a wonderful practice session....not perfect, but much, much better!! After taking this regimen, I started to notice a subtle effect within days and it got exponentially better each day thereafter. Of course in between, I dig down and rub the area where the tendons are giving me grief to bring in more blood to the area, then do lots of stretching exercises. As a side effect, the lesser inflammation is putting less pressure on my ulnar nerves, so it's helping that, too! I have compression on the left side in my elbow and my wrist and was trying to avoid surgery. So far, so good (and have been doing "nerve flossing" exercises, too)!! I had to share that with you in hopes that it can help you too!! Hugs, ~Jackie
@@ClassicalJams wow, thank you for the advice. I've been taking turmeric for about a month. Not seeing results soon enough, so Just went and got a steroid injection today. Hope it'll recover soon.
@@JoyceLeong Hi Joyce! You're welcome! I take turmeric, as well, but it wasn't producing the level of results that I needed/expected. I am trying to stay away from injections and such. I did take a short course of oral steroids a few months back and it did not last long at all (my doc actually gave it to help stop the inflammation in my neck as I have spinal stenosis that also impacts my hands and even my legs at times as it's closing in on my spinal cord and foraminal nerves (trying to avoid inevitable surgery on that, too and was hoping to be able to wait for advances in stem cell treatments that are right around the corner). Anyway, after about 2 days after weaning off the steroids, it came right back again! This regimen I am taking is the best so far and even have a big effect on my neck!! It's very promising! I hope you feel better very soon!! Hugs, ~Jackie
