I really wanted to be able to play the piano smoothly, but because my parents couldn't send me to piano lessons, I ended up only being able to learn by myself, and maybe it wouldn't have had much of an effect on me. Don't give up. Many great musicians are self-taught. When you grow up, and can pay for your own lessons, maybe then you can take some classes to polish up your technique. Meanwhile, keep playing and learning from RUclips and any other media possible.
