Thrift electronics prices have seemingly gone up a lot in the U.S. as well but I think it's more that EVERYTHING has gotten more expensive at thirft stores in general. Far more outlandishly priced things than in the past as well, I don't recall seeing a single item above $50 dollars unless it was a $300 + dollar item pre covid. Deals still can be had but far less than the past. I got a pretty mint black Wii with Mario Kart in it for $10 no accessories last month.
Yeah I no longer get excited looking for games at my thrift stores. Once in a while I'll find something good, but I usually go for vintage clothes. I prefer yard sales, they're more of an adventure and lots of people are just going to donate the stuff to thrift stores anyway so they'll have low prices.
Value village is too expensive for clothes let alone consoles. I did get a dope portable 8 track for ten bucks though. One good thing you can get if you need it is the universal remotes that come with cable boxes. $2.99 and away better than average universal.
The pawn shops here have n64 for 25 bucks. What's value village smoking where they think something they got *FOR FREE* is somehow worth more than everyone else?
Bro said shut the hell up
Me: liked and subbed immediately 😂
lol thank you for the support

that’s a pretty sweet deal.. I went back to buy a sewing machine and to my surprise all of them were $50 cad +.. I was dumbfounded
Proud reseller here! And I keep all my secrets to myself.
I’m a reseller too! and yes keep all quiet
It's bc scalpers will buy them out if it's cheap. Which ruins it for the rest of us average game enjoying humans.
Yes agreed.. it’s been a while since I was able to find anything worthwhile
