He is absolutely so blessed to be ripping people off on prices and buying from good will and thrift stores "made for the less unfortunate"..... That x for taking all the good stuff !! .... Pshh
Anyone can do what he does, knowledge separates everyone. He has learned from A LOT of trial and errors profits/losses to fine tune his eye for what's worth his time etc
I feel the exact same way about my recent side hustle. I've been selling items I find (usually found within a one mile radius from my apartment) and it's extremely gratifying. Thanks for your contribution. It's nice to live vicariously through your successes.
Hey there Phoenix Resale! Just wanted to say thank you for your content! I have been mirroring every move you make and adding some changes of my own to find success in the online resale business. When I feel down about no finds I watch your videos and get pumped again. So thank you!
Keep an eye out for Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams for the PS2. Sold mine without manual or the cover sleeve for $30. Complete ones are selling upwards of $45 - $50.
I would really like to get into this, but it honestly seems overwhelming and I would have no idea where to start. Your videos are great though. I’m glad you get to do what you love.
Thanks for the BOLO alerts! These videos are awesome, I recently found Back to the Future for PS4 because of one of your previous videos! Congrats on 50k!!
LETS GO !! I used to love my action replay - although young me thought all I had to do was type in random digits and a title for the cheat to work !! hanks for another cracking video Caleb
Yoo! I wondered if this was in Indianapolis! I was just there in mid March and saw the Mortal Kombat collection. Was so tempted to buy just for that sweet, sweet nostalgia lol. But I'm glad to see it went to someone far better than me😂 Great video man, can't wait for part 2
well... some with the international stickers do hold some value, it depends on which games. eg. the reissue pokemon Diamond and Pearl with the international stickers, sealed... just go for insane price and i have no idea why. and again love you videos! all the way from Singapore here!
I grabbed an original Xbox one 500gb and 11 games on eBay a couple of weeks ago. Listed as parts/not working. I did a little research on the seller and his store, which made me think it might not be broken, more they didn’t test it and to cover themselves listed as parts. Obviously there’s a risk/reward here that I accepted..I have some limited knowledge in console repair. I offered the seller $140 shipping included for all which they accepted. Got it in the mail and it works perfectly. Just needed a controller and some updates!
Well, thanks for letting me know that action replays are actually worth something. I have a Datel DS Action Replay cartridge that I don't need so I might sell it
Big Box PC games are always worth looking at, I've sold ones from my own collection that I bought years ago boxed for the equivalent of $110, there are plenty out there that people are willing to pay a lot for.
I would absolutely positively check out old big box PC games, especially if the price is right. Some of them can be quite expensive and often times on eBay there aren't a ton of listings so the people who want them tend to buy them quickly.
Man prices in the US has gone absolutely crazy. A used Xbox One sells for less than a 100 bucks in my country. The fact that you can get over 400 for one blows my mind!
Every time I watch your vids it makes me want to go to the disc replays and half price books, only problem is I keep everything for myself and have a hoarding/collection problem lol
You and Chase both mention high return rates on used systems, yet I’ve sold at least 20+ PS4s and Xbox Ones with no returns yet. Guess I’ve just got lucky.
Talking about PC games, there are way more PC gamers than console gamers. I am "always" on the lookout for PC games, especially big box PC games. I recently picked up The Sims: Complete Collection for $2 at Goodwill a few weeks ago. What a score, and it was CIB! I also found a Trophy Bass by Sierra sealed for $5 at a local flea market, and a unique Sonic CD PC game at my local Goodwill that I just couldn't pass up for $2.
Disc Replay is legit. I'm in southwest Michigan and my nearest one is known as Disc Trader's. Usually the majority of games are close to their worth there, but a few weeks ago I found an original NES game so cheap I thought it was mislabeled or mismarked. Gold color cartridge original The Legend of Zelda in seriously like new condition for, get this, a mere .99!!! It really rang up as such plus they have a policy that if something doesn't ring up what it's tagged at they have to give it to you for the tagged price.
Are you going to do a video on which is better eBay or Amazon? Also my concern with Amazon you pay 39.99 a month and they still take out fees which eBay is 10% and Amazon is 15% which your making them a ton of money?
Actually the fee system on both platforms is much more complex, I’d recommend looking into it. That said, I do have a video on the topic in my Resale Guides playlist!
How do you decide which areas of a store to hit first ? Also which ones do you know to scan and which ones to look over? Ik you do this a lot so you’ve probably got a bank of knowledge as I’ve been watching for a while just curious I would love to get in the business!
Hi Phœnix i just wanted to say that i really like your Channel and your content ! Also wanted to say that as a french reseller, i am really shocked about the value of the us games and consoles ( in europe, an Xbox one is worth like 80/100€ and overral value are much much much lower 😔 ) Keep it going bro ! sOrRy fOr bAd eNgLiSh
Actually I just found out about world versions last week with 3ds games! Personally since I’m collecting as well as reselling I’m trying to decide if world edition bothers me or not lol. Definitely not great for reselling though (for instance, omega ruby is like $100 sealed NA and half that World Edition)
Oh, if you only knew how good it was to hunt in Indy a few years ago... And even more so in Lafayette (my home). Before the franchisee (who owns the Indy Disc Replays) purchased the Lafayette location, Lafayette was operating on an old VERY outdated point of sale. This priced CIB/Sealed games at LOOSE prices or even less. Combine that with being good friends with the guys there, and I had a healthy stream of mint vintage disc games coming my way. And some of these games I got for next to nothing looked like they had barely been breathed on. I got so many pristine PS1 games over the years I couldn’t afford in the 90s. Disc is my favorite media resale shop of all time. The guys in Lafayette, Castleton, and Champaign, Illinois are all awesome guys. BUT, the newest franchisee updated the system and YES...the prices are much closer to value than before. And, in some cases, loose games are priced at complete, which sucks, but HEY, they gotta make money too. In Indy, I still make similar rounds to the ones you’re making in this video, but it’s far less common for me to find absolute bonkers deals anymore. Maybe I’ll run into you in the future. Take care, man!
Phoniex reseller, i have that MK box set but mine is opened cause i played MK Armageddon cause its a awesome game has every char in it as well u should play that one sometime
Caleb when you buy things so often like that for Xbox network adapters how do you even know they work you test all of the stuff you’re buying before you sell it? That alone seems like it would be time consuming or do you just take your lumps if this stuff doesn’t even work. I’ve got lots of games over the years and shelved them for a while and then find out months down the road they don’t even work.
I have looked over all your video's, and cannot find one that goes about explaining getting ungated in specific categories (like consoles, or specific brands of gam publishers) is there a specific video for that? If so, can you please link!
Hey Caleb, I would be really interested if you made a video forecast on what you think prices will look like post-covid. I'm really starting to getting a big anxious about having a ton of high value games, and knowing it's only covid related pumps, I would be pleased to hear your thoughts on video. Maybe a future livestream?
@@droopy935 Good point, for now I made riches from that, but I know that you're right in the long run. Don't worry for me, I plan on selling most of my stuff this summer
I'm not sure if you bought that 3ds but Nintendo stuff is so spiked these days. No matter what shape it's in. For instance: Sellers be like: "3ds for sell. Thrown off a cliff and caught in a house fire and flood. Can be used as a puzzle since I am selling this in parts. $200.".
I've seen xbox one consoles go between $100-$120 on offer up, I've literally bought one a few years back for $60 and I've owned around 9 of those console due to how cheap they were to get, so you just have to look out for the right seller
You missed out skipping on Martian Dreams PC. If that was complete it would have gone for $150-$200. I can't make out in the video what the price tag is to know it was flip worthy. I think it was a $100.

Recently I found a Pokémon yellow players guide. $3 and sold it for $70.
