steam sometimes forgets somehow, esp if you delete the game and/or run it back up months later. I think theres even a mod that turns the achievements back on somehow
@@RealDrCohart Steam always says "You have mods installed, achievements will be shut off" or something like that. The saves mention if you have mods used on them. I'm pretty sure you need to do something special to keep achievements on. Getting achievements would be really easy with mods installed, so it makes sense.
@@lehtokurppa7824 I think that message only applies games like Fallout 4 as they have mods officially implemented into the game. New Vegas and 3 doesn’t have them so you would still get the achievements anyways.

firsties. fallout nv was the best. story wise... and even the gameplay clunky as it was but yet still so beautifully timed.
100% Best game I've ever played, and I've been around since Atari 2600.

Mods don’t disable achievements.
