@Adam Walker I won't lie but this should of been the titles. I mean tbh, the episode did start with the tenth planet after all? What did you think of it? I think David Bradley was fantastic.
David Bradley was great...if he had more to work with. The amount of potential for that episode to shine as a tribute to 60s Who would have been great, but sadly we didn't get much of a plot for what is considered to be Capaldi's swansong as well as a throwback to the 1st Doctor. After rewatching it, it's falling down the list when compared with other regeneration episodes for me.
I know what Moffat was getting at in that episode, it's probably one of his greatest episodes. I won't lie, I did cry on that episode, it's one of the few DR.Who episodes to cry, What got me most was seeing the 1st-2nd regeneration tbh.
fair enough, hwhat about Jodie Whitaker? you looking forward to her? I probably think she'll do fine, at least she's british, like it's the tradition to the show.
I did like her "Brilliant" line. Just the fact that she sees her reflection with a joyful Tom Baker-esque grin reaffirms the fact that despite the drastic change, this is STILL the Doctor. And there are 4 things I want to see in order for me to keep being invested in Jodie's run: 1 ) How this new Doctor is going to meet and interact with the companions. 2 ) Character growth and development for said companions along the same level and quality as what we've seen from the RTD era. 3 ) How Gallifrey and the Time Lords are going to be handled by Chibnall. 4 ) And the biggest one for me: How this Doctor is going to react to the Daleks, and what acting qualities Jodie can bring to the table in regards to portraying what is arguably one of the most engaging and iconic elements of Doctor Who; the antagonistic relationship between the Doctor and the Daleks.
Alright, this is absolutely brilliant! Just... FANTASTIC! One of the BEST opening howlaround titles I've ever seen! Just... WOW!! How was... just... whoa.. And the message at the end..... my inner Whovian just screamed! You deserve a medal! A MEDAL
Thanks for asking. I rendered various pieces of particle simulation footage using fractal noise as a texture. Each particle is a repeated image of that fractal and is animated passing across or through the screen. Then I used a number of distortion plugins to imitate the howlround footage in the original intro.

Well if you enjoyed it, that's what matters. ;) I just wish there was a lot more to it.

Since they already did basically the same thing in Day of the Doctor, I don’t think they would have done it here. But this is still amazing.
Great job, really captures the feel of the original, with the ethereal patterns formed by the light morphing into the logo. Very well done.

Incredible! Amazing work!
Simon Bowser Cheers mate. :)
This is absolutely amazing!! How did you do this effect? Is it done through fractal textures in After Effects? Or analog means?

@@adamwalkervfx Try doing the original setup with a camera, screen, and fog machine
Looks eerie
As it should
This is WHAT should it have been :)
Fantastic!
Thank you. :)
You're welcome.
The two "lines" not lining up in the original version is my biggest pet peeves 😅
Well, I'm trying to make a better version, but progress has been slow.
@@adamwalkervfxCan't wait to see it! 😁
amazing.
how'd you get such a clean 63 opening theme? this is utterly amazing!
It is a rip from the An Unearthly Child DVD. The 2006 surround sound version to be exact.
I wonder if when Jodie's filming her scenes she has this racing through her mind to get in the mindset of the doctor
Well...no....
Could you make one of these for Jon Pertwee’s main/first sequence?
I might do. ;)
retro fantastique
Merci
Considering that the howlround effect is very not controllable, Good job!
I'll be making a better version for the 60th anniversary 🙂

how can it get better? howlaround is the most uncontrollable practical effects in history! How????
