I will continue to pray for those of you still in this battle. Though being pregnant does not erase every scar infertility has left on me, it feels freeing to move into the next chapter of our lives until it’s time to face trying for our other future children.

Congrats!!!! I also have PCOS and was trying for 3 years the doctors told me I couldn’t get pregnant unless I was on fertility medications and it’s been 1 year since my last dose and I stopped trying. Recently haven’t been feeling good and thought nothing of it until I took a random pregnancy test and I got a BFP!!!! Currently 10 weeks 💜 GOD HAS A PERFECT TIME FOR THINGS.

Congratulations 🎉🎉 I also have pcos, I’ve been on clomid for 2 months but the clomid wasn’t working alone so the obgyn prescribed metformin an clomid together for 3 months got my period in March .. took a pregnancy Wednesday an saw 2 lines , I couldn’t believed it

I’m so happy that the treatments worked for you and your finally pregnant. I know all about not being able to get pregnant. Me and my husband have been trying for another baby for over 5 years with no success. So we had to do ivf back in may and I only got 5 embryos I have low ovarian reserve. Out of the 5 I only got 1 good embryo. Had my transfer in august but unfortunately the transfer failed. So now it’s onto round 2 but this time I’m going to a new clinic because of my new job at Amazon I get amazing fertility benefits. So good luck on everything and hope the baby is healthy.

Congrats. I know the feeling of wanting to be a mom but having pcos but I’m happy to say after many year I’m finally going to be a mom to a little girl, I’m 30 years old and pregnant with my first she’s due in January 😁

Congratulations! I just got my first BFP about 2 weeks ago after trying for 2 1/2 years. We had a previous pregnancy but I miscarried. So this has been a difficult journey! We are 6 weeks 5 days today so I hope things go well for you as well!

I have pcos and I've been trying for 2 months and still nothing idk if I should keep trying or give up or try fertility treatments
I believe it takes 6 months on average for a person to conceive. Definitely keep trying! I know waiting is so so hard. If a year passes, your doctor should be okay with referring you to a fertility specialist. Hopefully you conceive long before that, though!
Wht kind of treatment did u take? We’ve been struggling for a year. I’ve wanted to give up hope I’ve questioned God
We tried for 2.5 years and ended up doing timed intercourse with fertility drugs and follicle monitoring (or “medicated cycles”). I know it can be so discouraging and it’s incredibly easy to have your faith shaken when it feels like everyone around you is growing their family...i know it’s hurts and I’m so sorry. I would recommend you read up about the “infertile” women of the Bible and read some of those stories. They encouraged me so much...i saw that God had an intention behind each woman’s “wait” and they ultimately served a greater purpose. Lean into God through it 🤍 he will get you through whatever journey lies ahead!

I have PCOS and I remember how l felt when the doctor toid me it would be hard for me to conceive I now have 4 children very successful pregnancies God blessed me with use of herbs!
Thank you for being empathetic towards others trying. You went through a lot too to get here, though. When I see a “how I got pregnant with pcos on the first try” video, it makes me angry. It’s not helpful to anyone when people like that make advice videos, and they have to know that.
You’re right.. everyone’s bodies are different and not every person with PCOS has issues conceiving so it’s not very helpful. Unfortunately a lot of doctors jump the gun and tell women with PCOS that they might not be able to have children and then some of those women try and find out they have no issues in that department! So much misinformation and unhelpful advice 😬
What medicine did they prescribe you? I have PCOS too ever since I was 13... so anything helps😂
I did a baseline ultrasound, then took letrozole, then did follicle scans until I had mature enough follicles, then did a trigger shot with ovidrel, then after I ovulated I was put on progesterone. I take the progesterone till 12 weeks pregnant. I hope this helps!

Honestly, I don't see why any woman would want to get pregnant. Pregnancy puts a lot of strain on a woman's body, and it is very dangerous, and it has a lot of risks, and a pregnancy lasts 9 months. Also, childbirth is very painful. And also, raising children is very hard.
Personally, I think being childfree would be a lot better than having children. It's been proven that single childfree women are happier. Studies prove single, childless, women are the HAPPIEST demographic. Women are the happiest when single and focused on themselves.
Uhh… lol. You’re certainly entitled to your opinion! Not sure why you opted to watch this if that’s your mentality. My little family is my whole life and the joy they bring me is unmatched with anything else. I think the goal should be to be happy/content in your circumstance, whatever you choose, not to coax women into “one over the other”.
Being a mother is (yes) the hardest, weirdest, best, most rewarding, beautiful, joyful thing i have ever done. Is it even harder and more tiring than i ever realized it would be? Yes. Was birth more painful? Yes. Would i do it again? Yes, yes, and YES. Over and over again. Why? Because that’s what brings me joy and if i get blessed with another pregnancy and child, that’ll bring me more joy. More trials? Yep, those too. But the love and joy are so much more constant, grounding, and rooted so much deeper than the temporary trials that come along with the experience. That’s my “why”. Maybe that helps you understand a bit, maybe not, but either way i think it’s great that you get to choose what’s best for you and i get to choose what’s best for me. Some feel called to singleness, and that’s okay!

How does having children make your life better?
Pregnancy and having birth can be very risky. Many women have problems for life regarding incontinence, PTSD from the pain of the delivery, sleep deprivation for a few years.
And some women actually die or end up in ICU during childbirth. Not to mention, some of the consequences of giving birth are lifelong.
@cks7548 i did a little research to see if the study you mentioned popped up- i can only find articles alluding to it. However i easily found an article explaining there was an error with the study you mention when women were asked if their spouses were present. Some women interpreted that as “present with them” and some interpreted that as “an ex-spouse”. That’s a large interpretation difference and can very very easily impact a study of that nature. If someone is not currently your spouse, you’re very likely to be happier without them. There are also other studies saying the exact opposite of that study, and those are not hard to find. I have no clue how the study you mentioned surveyed women, but there have to be geographical, cultural, and age factors. There’s a lot to this conversation and i don’t see it at black and white. I think the fact that men and women actively seek family building all over the world says a lot. I don’t personally see your arguments as logical as you think they are- in order for the human race to continue we have to have children. So suggesting women should all just stay single and they’d be happier? It’s a very bizarre generalization. I’m assuming you haven’t had children based off of the way you’re wording things, but i have actually been single, married, had a child, had postpartum depression, and i can still say I’d choose her and this life and do it all over again in a heartbeat. That’s something most mothers can understand, but not something i can easily explain to you if you don’t have children/don’t want your children/ don’t want children. It’s not a “my child meets my needs and makes me happy” sort of scenario. It’s a purpose and fulfillment that goes beyond what others can do for you and rewards you by what you can do for them in turn. You can call it illogical- i call it human nature. Best wishes 🤗
