I honestly think A&M was the best team that 2012 season. I know they lost a couple but they got it going down the stretch and looked unstoppable.

Needed a better tackling D. Spread offense teams don't win over the long haul vs good pro style teams. After the initial adjustment period, they usually prove themselves better overall, and I'm an Aggie.

Aggie fans, this 2012 team was incredible. In their two losses, A&M lost double digit leads vs Florida and LSU. Had they won one of those, they would have been in the SEC Championship game and possibly playing for a national championship.

Wow, as a Longhorn fan, this is a doozy of a game. Our two biggest rivals duking it out, while we just sit on the sidelines because we went to a different bowl game. That said, I'd rather root for my state than conference, so if A&M plays Oklahoma again, for that day, I'll say "Gig 'Em Aggies!"
Connor, I would love to see Texas-Texas A&M again. I don't know if they could play each year, but there are other in-state rivalries that are non-conference that somehow work: Georgia-Georgia Tech, Florida-FSU, Clemson-SC just to name a few.
Tim Marsh Yeah. We could probably get a game against the Aggies within a few years, if we really push it, but as of right now, we aren't. Especially since we still got Oklahoma to play against, but who knows?

You know, even though Texas A&M was in the SEC for the first time, the atmosphere felt like it was a big 12 game because of the location (Dallas) the station it was broadcast on (FOX) and how the two teams are big into football historically.
What hurts as an A&M fan is that he was a bust in the NFL because he couldn't swallow his pride. I'll love his as an Aggie though forever.

I think the lesson we can all take away from this is that if you name a person like you would an 80s action figure you're asking for trouble.
I think it's funny that the announcers in the booth correctly called the first touchdown in about 10 seconds with the sideline angle shot, but the replay official took much longer than that, even though they use the same camera angles as the guys in the booth.
I'd love to have seen the 2012 Texas Aggies and Johnny Manziel play the 2019 LSU Tigers and Joe Burrow.

I think Nebraska made a BIG (no pun intended) mistake by going to the B1G. When Nebraska was in the Big-8, then Big-12 it only had to face one or maybe two really good teams each year (Oklahoma and someone else.). Now, in the B1G, Nebraska has to face 3 or 4 really good teams each year. And I am not sure that Nebraska gains any recruiting advantages by joining the B1G. Is a four-star high school player in Ohio, Pennsylvania and Michigan likely to turn down OSU, Michigan or Penn State to go to Nebraska? I don't think so.

Colorado wasn’t a good fit in the big 12. Nebraska, Missouri and Texas A&M should’ve stayed and added schools like Houston instead of West Virginia. The mountaineers are more of an ACC squad than a big 12 team.
@@leifjohnson617 Well yeah, the big 12 was predominantly midwestern teams and that's why Nebraska would get recruits from the region, which isn't the case since now they're in the Big 10, so I'm wondering why West Virginia is even in it lol

Such a great night. After Texas and OU scammed A&M, reneging on their agreement to pay us $20 million per season once Nebraska walked, going to the SEC, making twice that, and crushing OU that first year was total vindication.

@@dr.reviewsfrompersonalexpe7603 jealous isn’t the right word. The Longhorn network cast a huge shadow over the big 12 because it just showed the executive power Texas had in the big 12. I think everyone else mutually would have liked to see a Big 12 network, just like every other conference. But when the longhorns disagreed and created their own station it kinda put a sour taste in everyone’s mouth and Texas A&M had to leave because it was evident that Texas would do everything in their power behind the scenes to keep A&M at the bottom of the big 12. Now that the Longhorn network is failing, Texas and OU want some of what A&M got coming to the SEC. Kinda funny how that worms
