Great comparo. I was in that exact spot on my 501 two weeks ago. My heart wants the Aprilia but my brain says get the Yamaha. My big bike is a 1250GS but I am old and weak now and will be downsizing this winter. Decisions decisions....🤔

It was impossible to get T7, may be with 3-5k markup, new Tuareg was much cheaper from the dealer. Tuareg likes tuning and servicing but it’s such a rocket on and off road
I have a Tenere 700 and love it; I just wish it had cruise control and tubeless wheels, both things that the Tuareg 660 has. You said you have 20,000 miles on your Tuareg? How has its reliability been?
Random question is your dealer optimum performance in Bellevue? Do you think they're good and trustworthy cuz they're the only dealer in WA lol and I'm considering getting one.
Yes, it’s the only dealer in WA. It’s very small, but the people are cool. Parts can take a long time to get, a lot of time you’re better off ordering from AF1 racing.
I couldn't agree more. The T7 is the Toyota Tacoma of adventure bikes. I have the World Raid version and I love it.

Cable vs Throttle By Wire? I've found the "Urban" riding mode on the Tuareg smooths out the throttle response considerably. Good comparison.

Love the apropia and want the ktm 790… but reliability plus fit and finish… I think I need to go with the Honda and just do a million mods to catch up
